I cant install The wifi Driver it says "This software package cannot be installed in your system the setup application will exit"
I do have the drivers CD this is the only driver that doesn't work.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently reinstalled windows 7 on my dad laptop after he <ADMIN NOTE: Profanity removed as per TOU> it up beyond repair. After installing the appropriate drivers I still had no detection on my w lan adapter so I checked out the device list, and it says I'm missing drivers for two things: one is the network controller, the other is just listed as an unknown device.
I already installed every driver for the appropriate devices on the laptop, in the correct order, or as i could best manage it, but still no dice. The only network driver on the disk for my inspiron is one for an Ethernet controller.

1. I've upgraded by bios to version A13
2. I've checked in the bios advanced tap to ensure the wireless was enabled, it is
3. Device manger says the drivers are up to date and the device is working properly, driver version 5.60.48.35
4. System info says the wireless adapter is disabled
5. wireless key F2 has no impact on the status
This has happened a long time ago, a year or so but it wouldn't let me get on the internet. I've done a system restore, but it still shows the ! in front of the wireless connection thats their since im on it right now typing this up on my PC.
View 1 Replies View Relatedam facing a big issue with windows 8 ,i recently updated my os to windows 8 64bit.now am totally cut from networks,,both Bluetooth and WiFi,,i was able to connect to WiFi but after sometime when i tried to connect to web site its automatically disconnected,,i checked with other systems and mobile phone which is using the same network same time..
and with my Bluetooth am not even showing my Bluetooth..when i searched with mobile for nearby devices its shows dell pc but unable to connect.
I am really enjoying my Dell, but I have one issue. The wireless card on the N4010 shuts itself off for no reason. Sometimes the Fn+F2 key will turn the connection back on, but sometimes I have to Fn+F2 and disabling and re-abling the wireless connection to re-establish the network connection.Is there a setting that I need to adjust or a new driver???

Fer last few days my wired connection was not working and i got all cable checked and replaced, but could not solve the problem. Then i found that in device manager, network adapters, its not showing and wired adapter. Only wi-fi and blue tooth adapters are there. I can still connect to internet at office via wi fi but its not working at home now with wired connection.I am not able to understand how it stops working and why its not showing in device manage (Network adapters).Yes one more thing i want to disclose is that earlier i have only one drive i.e. c drive wich few days back i compressed and created another drive.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having Inspiron N4010 for almost an year now. I have had many troubles with this but never with internet connectivity. Last week I saw myself not being able to be connected to internet through wireless or wired network while everybody else was connected and surfing. I just thought it to be a small problem and the problem seemed resolved that very day itself on its own.
But today this computer has simply failed to get connected. it does get connected, open a page or two and then again refuses to connect. On the problem diagnoses from network sharing center, it was showing that the websites are not responding, then it started showing that DNS server was not responding while all my setting are correctly configured. I pinged gateway and it responds but on pinging some website there is no response at all. It s a problem with my laptop only as everybody else are using internet very well. I am using internet through my WiFi enabled cell phone using the same connection and router that i use for my laptop. I need an urgent solutions as I have to meet some deadlines regarding assignments.

View 1 Replies View Related I'm a new owner of a Dell laptop R15 N5110 with i5 sandy bridge/ 4Gb DDR3/ 750Gb / 15.6" /. the laptop came with free dos , so when i installed windows 7 ultimate 64 bit i fond some drivers missing , the first thing i did i search the dell driver home page and i come up with some great result , all but one driver were successfully installed , the missing one is the WiFi driver .
Although 7 network drivers were in the dell driver home page but none of them works for me , the intel my technology utility says : so supported intel wireless network adapter was fond ....!! i tried so many solutions and again none of them works. this is what i got from this program (Sysinfo.exe) :

After a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate (service pack 1) I've visited the Dell Product Support section, entered in my service tag and downloaded all the recommended drivers & applications. Everything works fine on the laptop right now except for one major issue: I can't connect to the internet.The wireless switch is ON, but there's no sign of any wireless networks in the Network and Sharing center or in the system tray icon next to the clock.This is what I see in the device manager:When I double click the Network controller the device status reads:The drivers for this device are not installed. View 5 Replies View RelatedInspiron N5050.Fresh install Win 7 sp1 home premium.I have the Dell drivers disc.when I go through the list of drivers to install, there is one listed for the wireless card for this computer, but it does not have the 'tick' which says the device has been detected.i try to install that driver anyway and I am asked to "Activate Bluetooth Using Wireless Switch". I went here [URL] and then did a search for DW1702, which is the card listed on my customer invoice. From that search I am taken here [URL] which lists 3 kinds of drivers: A01, A02 and A03. I have tried all three. A01 and A03 give up quite quickly. With the A02 the InstallShield Wizard starts up and most of the installation seems to take place and then it gives up. Windows tells me the driver was not installed properly.Whenever there is a problem over drivers, Dell tells us to install the Notebook System Software. There is no NSS on my drivers disc. (It does not come up on the list of drivers to install when the disc is first inserted and is not listed under 'System Utilities'.) Since I can't connect to the internet without at least an ethernet driver installed, how am I supposed to install the NSS first? In any case when I enter my service tag on here or do a search for the N5050, I am given 11 filtered results and 33 'all related drivers' but no NSS.I was charged extra for the drivers disc and it doesn't have what I want.
