Dell Inspiron 1564 With Dell Webcam Central Will Not Allow Access
Apr 9, 2011I have an Dell inspiron 1564 with dell webcam central I been useing it a while now and had no problems with it untill one day I logged on and I go on webcam chat sites and as you know theres a button you click for your cam to turn on and useally a warning sign would appear saying would you like to allow this site to acces your webcam and I would click allow but now nothing appears and i click the cam sign and nothing happens just black I set the settings to Allow and always remember but nothing will work I was told to get rid of all my toolbars as they might of caughts the problem so I did and now i don't have any toolbars but it's still in not working I think its the McAfee secuirty I have a on my computer that is not allowing it but then i think why would it one day just stop it from allowing.

Dec 29, 2012 i have issue with my webcam and bluetooth i have installed a fresh copy of windows 7 on it after that i have installed all driver from cd in right order which came with laptop. i have installed dell webcam central it shows no supported webcam found. installing fresh copy of windows 7 installs webcam drivers itself.
and problem with bluetooth is when i active wireless from wireless switch a window pops up showing usb not recognized i think that is only the problem but why i have installed chipset drivers also.

Dec 30, 2012I'm at my wits end on trying to get my n4010 inspiron to connect wirelessly. It was working about two weeks ago but now will not work
1. I've upgraded by bios to version A13
2. I've checked in the bios advanced tap to ensure the wireless was enabled, it is
3. Device manger says the drivers are up to date and the device is working properly, driver version 5.60.48.35
4. System info says the wireless adapter is disabled
5. wireless key F2 has no impact on the status

Feb 17, 2013am facing a big issue with windows 8 ,i recently updated my os to windows 8 64bit.now am totally cut from networks,,both Bluetooth and WiFi,,i was able to connect to WiFi but after sometime when i tried to connect to web site its automatically disconnected,,i checked with other systems and mobile phone which is using the same network same time..
and with my Bluetooth am not even showing my Bluetooth..when i searched with mobile for nearby devices its shows dell pc but unable to connect.

Aug 27, 2010I am really enjoying my Dell, but I have one issue. The wireless card on the N4010 shuts itself off for no reason. Sometimes the Fn+F2 key will turn the connection back on, but sometimes I have to Fn+F2 and disabling and re-abling the wireless connection to re-establish the network connection.Is there a setting that I need to adjust or a new driver???

Then i found that in device manager, network adapters, its not showing and wired adapter. Only wi-fi and blue tooth adapters are there. Dec 25, 2011I am having Inspiron N4010 for almost an year now. I have had many troubles with this but never with internet connectivity. Last week I saw myself not being able to be connected to internet through wireless or wired network while everybody else was connected and surfing. I just thought it to be a small problem and the problem seemed resolved that very day itself on its own.
But today this computer has simply failed to get connected. it does get connected, open a page or two and then again refuses to connect. On the problem diagnoses from network sharing center, it was showing that the websites are not responding, then it started showing that DNS server was not responding while all my setting are correctly configured. I pinged gateway and it responds but on pinging some website there is no response at all. It s a problem with my laptop only as everybody else are using internet very well. I am using internet through my WiFi enabled cell phone using the same connection and router that i use for my laptop. I need an urgent solutions as I have to meet some deadlines regarding assignments.

Apr 21, 2012I recently reinstalled windows 7 on my dad laptop after he <ADMIN NOTE: Profanity removed as per TOU> it up beyond repair. After installing the appropriate drivers I still had no detection on my w lan adapter so I checked out the device list, and it says I'm missing drivers for two things: one is the network controller, the other is just listed as an unknown device.
I already installed every driver for the appropriate devices on the laptop, in the correct order, or as i could best manage it, but still no dice. The only network driver on the disk for my inspiron is one for an Ethernet controller.

Jan 7, 2012In the past few weeks, my desktop's wireless connection has become impossibly slow and laggy. It takes long times to load and routinely drops or stutters in its connection, which makes online gameplay very inefficient if not impossible. Prior to this, it was running fine.My wife's netbook and my work laptop both run normally and fine off the connection. The ping rates for those computer, tested at the exact same time as my desktop, are both good while my desktop's ping and jitter are horrible. So I have the feeling it is not really a networking issue, but more something with the wireless card or another issue with my desktop itself. My computer is a Dell Inspiron 531, probably about 3 years old, which as I mentioned ran fine with the wireless before. I am running Vista. In the past several months, the computer fan would kick in really hard and often at graphically intense moments though it doesn't do it any more (yes, it is still running at normal speed), so I'm not sure if the card itself was overheated and damaged? Since the others run fine?

May 6, 2013My grandma has a Dell Inspiron 1520 running Win XP and has a Dell Wireless 1505 Draft 802.11n W LAN Mini-Card. The other day I reformatted her computer for her to clean things up and since then I have been unable to connect to the internet. Her computer will recognize the wireless network and connect to it but after a few minutes of trying to authenticate network address it will pop up a little window that says "limited or no connectivity." I've read countless forums on the internet using my computer and have come to the realization that it's an invalid ip address. In one post I read someone provided an ip address, subnet mask, default gateway, and a preferred DNS server code that I typed in which then showed that I was connected with wifi but still says authenticating on the WLAN card.
