Dec 13, 2012Wednesday 12-12-12, purchased a Dell Inspiron 3520 with Windows 8. Installed Win 7 Home Professional and downloaded drivers for network communications. All loaded except Network Controller & BCM43142A0.I have tapped Fn + F2 (to turn on wireless) Device Manager has a yellow ! on these.Trying to update driver over Internet or HDD gets = Windows could not find driver software for your device.
When I go to Network locations to connect to a network, it says, "No connections available".When I click properties for "Network Controller", I get PCI bus 7, device 0, function 0, No driver selected Code 28 Laptop only works with wired connection?

Aug 25, 2012I have a Dell Inspiron Laptop N7110 my hard drive was corrupted, I have wiped it clean and reinstalled Window 7 I went to dell support and downloaded all the drivers and intalled them in the order dell suggusted. I have no internet. The driver for networking said I did not have device. How do I correct this.

And I try to connect to my home wifi and i get a message saying "Windows is unable to connect to the selected network. The network may no longer be in range. refresh the list of available networks, and try to connect again." I refresh the networks and it still shows the network ive been trying to connect to then i retry and same message pops up. I can connect to other networks fine but not my home wifi. My wifi router is a Netgear N600 Dual Band Router.

I have tried this with Windows 7 using a bridge between the laptop wifi and lan adapters. But I must be doing something wrong.
The other option is to use ICS, but not sure then if the hotel's system would see additional devices. (we are limited to 4 where we stay, but exceed that when family visits!)

Jan 31, 2013I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop. I have a problem accessing my home network which is not showing up under the "Connect to a Network " list. I am able to see my neighbours' networks and can access my own network with my phone, tablet etc. The driver is up to date according to Windows and is functioning correctly. I reinstalled the OS yesterday and the wireless was working fine last night. To the best of my knowledge, nothing has been altered.

Oct 10, 2011Have Dell Inspiron 6000 (XP SP3) and Dell XPS M1210 (Vista). Both were working fine through my home network WiFi. Now only the M1210 is working. The 6000 shows that I have a connection (with strong signal) but it won't connect to the internet anymore. (The M1210 still works fine - connects to internet.) I went back to several restore points on the 6000 but it didn't work. Rebooted and check everything I could think of but didn't resolve problem.

Recently Virgin installed their latest Hub / wireless router for me and since then i cannot make a wireless connection to the internet. Before that I use to be able to connect to my old router (Linksys Wireless-G 2.4Ghz) no problem! I can connect via the ethernet cable no problems. It was working then out of know where i logged off and logged back in when i changed classes and it doesnt work anymore. In the device manager it says it is installed but cannot start.
