View 3 Replies View Relatedi have a Toshiba Satellite A215 with Windows Vista Home Premium. The laptop has been running on my wireless network for several years with no issues. For some reason I can no longer access the wireless network/Internet but can through the LAN (cable). I have other 2 other computers (Dell desktop and iPad) that are running on the wireless network so it just seems to be the Toshiba laptop that is having the problem. I have not done anything new to the network router or the Toshiba and am not sure why the Toshiba all of a sudden no longer does not have wireless access. The devise manager says the adapter is functioning properly. I have looked at other resolved issues on your site that have had this issue but have not been able to resolve my issue. As requested with other similar issues here is the ipconfig for the Toshiba.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently reformatted the hard drive and when I finished I tried to connect to our home network and the laptop will not. The wireless is on, the network shows up, I click connect, put in the password, but it keeps coming up that it cannot connect. When I click diagnose, it reads that I can either try reconnecting to the network or reset the wireless router/access point and try again. We have a desktop connected, 2 laptops, & TiVo with no problems. This is the only laptop that has a problem. Yesterday I reformatted another Toshiba laptop's hard drive and had no trouble reconnecting to the home network. I've read several threads regarding this matter, and have tried the following:
(1) TCP/IP stack repair options for use with Windows Vista - nothing looked unusual with each step, and (2) ipconfig /all - attaching the txt file with results.
I am at a loss. I don't want to hard wire it as the last time I did this, the internet was lost on all of out devices and it took me a day to get it back to the way it was.
i reistalled windows 7 ultimate x64 now i have no ethernet or network controller
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I have a Toshiba Satellite L555D-S7005. When I put it into Hibernate mode (I dont like turning it off, takes too much time) it paralyzes my whole wireless network. It makes it so that anybody else on WIRELESS gets disconnected, and cannot reconnect easily (they must restart the router). This gets very irritating when my brother is on the X-BOX/Laptop and he cannot continue playing games or whatever. If I disconnect my laptop the network goes down for them, but not for me. I can log right back on and connect with no problems. The wired computer has no problems with internet when I turn off my laptop.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop has suddenly stopped detecting my wireless network. IT detects every other network in the area but mine. Other computers in the house have no problem detecting and connecting.Wireless is enabled, it happens no matter how close or far from the router. The network is set to broadcast the ssid, etc. I have not changed any settings on my laptop or router, this has suddenly started happening. Have updated drivers to no effect.Occasionally, the network pops up when I re-start the laptop. Rarely works and sometimes it will detect the network, then fail to connect, then the network can't be detected at all.

View 4 Replies View RelatedSince yesterday evening, my Toshiba Satellite Laptop (L505D-ES5025) hasn't been able to register my wireless network, though it registered it perfectly fine yesterday morning. I can only detect the local area connection, and can only connect to the internet via the ethernet cable (which is what I'm using right now).Even when I go to the "Change Adapter Settings" from Control Panel, it won't detect the wireless network that I use. The other computers/laptops in the house work, but this one can't regiester to it, even though it's the closest to the router. When I troubleshoot the problem, the only solution is to use the ethernet cable, but I can't depend on it since the whole point of using a wireless connection is to go wireless.I have tried the Control Panel solution of going to the device manager, but I can't find the wireless network from there. This Toshiba computer also doesn't have a physical WLAN button; rather hot keys are used (though when I use this, it doesn't anyways).I also tried to find the drivers for it to update, but those won't either update, or they do update but nothing happens. In other words, I can't do anything because my laptop can't find ANY networks whatsoever except for the one that is found after I connect it to the ethernet cable. My OS is Windows 7, 64-bit Home Premium.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI have the same issue with Toshiba satellite AA665D-s6091 I expierience crackling sound when playing. peaks appeared when I had either the (cable and wireless) adaptors enabled, when I enable/disable the backlit keyboard and also when I enable/disable eco-mode.A Windows and driver update fixed the cable adaptor issue.
I ran the commands in post #19:
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
netsh int tcp set global congestionprovider=ctcp
netsh int tcp set global dca=enabled
The wireless adaptor issue was fixed with these, however every time y enable/disable backlit keyboard or eco-mode on my laptop I still get this latency peaks around 18000 us and audio clicks. I check latency with DPC latency checker V1.3.0?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI can not set up and access to my wireless application on my DELL Inspiron 510 m.I have installed all drivers from "network" category, but my wireless network does not show in my "network places" on Windows XP.
Wireless adapter is enabled in BIOS and I have used Fn+F2 to turn off and on wireless device, but still nothing.
Problem I've been having with my laptop. Following the directions of a Dell technician while trying to resolve a separate problem, I deleted the partitions on my hard drive and manually reinstalled both Vista and all the drivers that were on the Dell CD that came with my laptop. When I tried connecting to the internet, Vista said I did not have any wireless networking hardware, but before the reinstallation it worked just fine. I am able to connect to the internet using a wired connection, but my wireless adapter still isn't working. I use Windows Vista 32-bit SP1
View 8 Replies View Relatedi have a home network my dell netbook and dell xps desktop are connected to it, both are able to connect to the internet, my toshiba satellite for some reason won't connect. i think the wifi radio isn't working because there is an icon on the front of the lapptop with a picture of a wifi transmitter, and the amber light is lit for that. my router won't recognize it and neither will the other computers. it was working just fine to connect to the internet before i set the network up with the other two computers. the toshiba is the only one that has windows 7 btw, the others one has vista and one has xp. don't know if this has anything to do with it, but im stumped. i trtied to do it manually, but the router keeps saying the mac address is invalid, i get that from ip config.
