View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Sony Bravia KDL46EX640 which comes with a wireless USB adapter. When I first bought this, I set up wireless network and it went fine. I was able to use the applications for video streaming.
I was trying it again now and it doesn't work. It seems like I can't even connect to my wireless network. I tried to set it up again but it can't find my wireless network. I have tried resetting the TV too (UP arrow + Power button on TV) and still doesn't work. Contacted Sony support but they didn't assist. I have a laptop and ipad connected to the router in the same room so signal is not a problem.
I have a Dell Latitude D610 ,and i can't find drivers for Windows 7.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi just bought a new Sony Vaio VPCSB 490 X Laptop. I should preface this with the fact that my old vaio i had to get rid of because it stopped connecting to any wireless networks (among other reasons.) I had it looked at and was told the wireless card was broken.
My problem with the new one is that i can only get limited connectivity to the network, even though all other wireless devices in the house are fine. Here's the ip configuration i brought up when the computer was connected to the router with an ethernet cord:
Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7601]

I realise many people are having this issue and there any lots of threads about it all, which i have spent hours looking through forums for answers but I am not that computer savy to understand it all...Haven't really come accross the same scenerio as i am having, so here it is: Just brought a Sony Vaio Laptop running Win 7 home Premium. Have a desktop computer running xp which is connected to modem and router...Am running a D-link DSL-502T and Linksys wireless-G broadband Router, model :WRT54G.My issue is i can connect to the wireless network through the laptop but when i switch the wireless switch on the laptop every few minutes the desktop PC will drop the connection and display network cable unplugged, then goes back and fourth connecting and disconnecting every few minutes....as soon as i flick wireless switch off on laptop all is fine again.....wireless works as have another laptop running windows 7 pro and can connect mobile phone through wireless and ipad etc...I have had the internet load web pages but connection doesnt stay on...Does the same thing when i try connecting directly using network cable.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Sony Vaio Laptop VGN-NS20M and have rebooted it as had a few issues with it. Now the internet drivers have disappeared from device manager. The only thing there related to the internet is under modems. Which has nothing to do with the wifi or the ethernet port.So cannot connect via wireless or the ethernet. Seems strange both have failed. There is no ? or yellow! there, as there is no devices there.I have tried the drivers from the Sony website but they just do nothing, and the troubleshooting from the network icon just says Windows cannot find a driver for your network adapter. Its a dual boot laptop with Vista and Win7 and have the same issues on both OS.

View 1 Replies View Relatedlast night I had reset my router, I may have factory reset it, but ever since then, nothing can connect, nor even find the wireless connection, other than the home computer that is directly wired to it. My laptop, my tablet, amd my xbox cannot connect. On my laptop, it cannot even find a connection available, even when I'm in the same room as the router. All it has are the no signal bars and the little "x". Everything was working fine before I reset the router. Now nothing can even find a connection! How can I get my connection back? my laptop is windows 7.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI have a Gateway MX6124 laptop. I used the System Recover disk that came with the machine. After a complete reinstall (twice), the wireless feature is not found. There is an idicator light that goes on and off when using the F2 key.
There is no Windows Mobility Center choice from the start menu. Needless to say, there is no wireless icon to access and trouble shoot. It's like the wireless is turned off even though the blue light is on.
Just recently bought a dell xps 17 L702x, and decided to reinstall windows 7 as it came with all the nonsense factory software installed.
The problem is I can't find a wireless network driver, the drivers CD I received with the laptop is useless and the official drivers on the dell website do not work either, I do not know which network card I have, so I downloaded a software which would tell me all the hardware in the laptop but it ends up telling me I do not have a network card, but I definitely do have one because the wireless was working before the reinstallation of windows. So now I'm stuck with a laptop with no wireless, having to use an ethernet cable.
I have a Linksys wireless G Router (WRT54G5 model) and I've recently had some problems with it. First problem, I cant find my wireless network from my desktop, but it shows up on my laptop but it wont let me access it from there. The power, wlan, port 1, and internet led lights are all on and green. How can I get my wireless network to show up on my desktop and how can I access it from my laptop? If I unplug my router for 30 seconds and plug it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Sony VAIO VPCEH36FX laptop has trouble staying connected to wireless for long. I've only had it for about a week now and it's been happening since Day 1. It alternates between trying to connect, to being connected but with limited access, to not being connected at all. However, if I unplug the router and plug it back in, the laptop will work fine anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple hours. But after that it goes back to trying to connect/limited access. I doubt it's a problem with the router, as all other devices in the house work fine with it. It's a Linksys Cisco router. It doesn't have a password or anything.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have had some problems in the last few days regarding my wireless router. i am using a Sony Vaio VGN-NS30E laptop with a TP-Link Wireless N Adsl2+ modem router. ISP = Utility Warehouse. Network Adapter = Atheros AR928X Wireless Adapter.
I can connect via Ethernet, but as soon as i try and use my wireless it comes up with "unable to connect". I also have a Print server running in the other room to allow me to print wireless. I have had all the wireless connections working up until this week (monday).
Called technical support after losing internet connection repeatedly and internet getting slower. ISP know reckons i should be getting up to 11.5mb's per second download, but connecting is the problem now.

View 2 Replies View RelatedEverything was ok, for a long time, then few days ago, i woke up and where was no internet connection on my laptop, i saw my neighbors wifi's but not mine. So i tried typical things: restarted laptop, restarted wifi on laptop, restarted router, but no luck. Then i checked, with my other laptop and it was working like charm. Then I tried, everythink i could think about it: disable and reanabled wifi card, reinstalled drivers, reseted factory setings on router, but no luck. Then i tried to configurate and connect to router from other laptop using PIN whitch is on the bottom of router. And it somehow made it to be able my laptop to find my home's wifi. But it lasted only for a day and same thing started. I could not find my wifi on my computer, but i could saw other wifi's, and different laptop could find and connect to my home network.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a wireless network of PC, Acer Extensa laptop (laptop1), and Acer Aspire notebook (laptop2) which connect wirelessly to a Livebox. All machines are running XP (SP3). Laptop2 connects to the Livebox via a Broadcom 802.11g adapter. There is no problem with any of these accessing the internet. Until recently (not sure how long ago) there was no problem with any of them accessing each other.Yesterday we discovered that laptop2 has lost contact with PC. All other connections are fine (including PC to laptop2). I have checked evrything I can think of and have carried out a System Restore taking the machine back as far as I can but that has made no differenceLaptop2 appears to recognise the workgroup in its 'preferred networks' box but the PC does not appear in its list of computers on the network and any attempt to access the network (My Network Places>Entire Network>Microsoft Windows Network & click on MSHOME) results in "you do not have permission ..." then followed by "Windows cannot find the network path.."
