View 1 Replies View RelatedWe have cisco 2504 controller and 1200 series access point. These are in India and country code is IN.When access point joins the controller , then in wireless>advanced , i see the two country code is already configured these are Sri Lnaka(LK) and Singpore (SG).I have disabled the radios and changed the country code to IN but after doing that Access point is not joining the controller and giving the duplicate error.
Then i have again set the country code to IN,LK and SG.I am able to see the LK and SG but In is not showing in drop down list.
Operationally everything is working fine.

I'd like NOT to lose the config if possible.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Netgear router which feeds an Eugenius ecb3500 Wireless Access point. I did not install the access point. I need to password protect our wireless environment, and that needs to be done on the Engenius. However, though I have tried many ways to access that device, I cannot. I cannot get an IP address for it,either. When I plug it directly in to my laptop (Win7), and type in the command line ipconfig, I get the IPv4 addresses of my laptop's local and wireless LAN card. How to get into the Engenius access point and password protect it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI set up the WAP610N as a wireless access point, and it refuses to accept the passsword on several iphones (2 iphone4s and one iphone5) and a kindle fire.
The devices are picking up the network, but when the password is entered, the access point refuses the password. I've checked the password numerous times and the spelling is correct.
If the access point's settings are set to no security, there's an instant connection, which I expected, but the password is refused on either of the secure settings.
I bought the WAP610N for my son months ago, but he couldn't get it installed in his old apartment several states away because he doesn't have a CD drive in his computer. Now that he's moved into an apartment close to home, I was able to set it up using my computer. So I don't know if maybe it's a firmware issue since it sat in the box for months, or something else.
The access point is hooked up through a TP-Link TL-R860 Cable/DSL Router., which is not wireless.
I have a new WAP54G Access point in our network. I would like to change WPA security settings, but am not able to do it.I have done everything as installation leaflet says, and I get to the 5th point Status sheet: Firmware version v.304, MAC address (numbers), IP address 192.168.1.245, SSID linksys, Channel channel 6 and WEB security Disable
What I would like to do, is change SSID and have WPA2 security. When I am clicking "Yes", it goes to the next sheet "Password", I write admin and click "Enter". I will have Pop-up window "Setup Access violation at address 0049BDB6 in module 'Setup.exe'. Write of address C933016A."
They keep changing SSID and Security. No one is reseting them. I have changed the password already.

Recently I have purchased two brand new wap4410n access points.
I have connected my computer directly to one of the access points, and attempted to connect to the Web Configuration utility through my web browser.
I'm using a: 09' MacBook Pro, running Snow Leopard and Safari 5.
I can access the login screen of the access point, although when I enter the default username: admin and password admin, the login screen returns an error: Invalid username and/or password (or something to that effect). The URL changes to: http://192.168.1.245/login.htm&no=3.
I have reset the device by holding in the reset button for thirty seconds, powered down, powered up and re-attempted to login.
I still get the same error as above.
I have attempted to access the Web Configuration utility on both access points, and both access points provide the same error. I have also tried using the username: cisco and password: cisco.
Cisco, when contacted, said both access points must be faulty and I should replace them.
The probability of such an occurrence happening with two devices seems very low, and leads me to think there must be other factors at play. The only constant I can think of is the fact I'm using the same computer to access the devices.
I simply need to recover an embeded access point password.
I have the passwords to the 881-w router, but passwords to the embedded access point I don't have.
What is the recovery process for it, or the password reset process for the embedded access point.
I am trying to change my network password but when I go to access the webpage http://192.168.2.1 it is not operational.my router model is F5D8236-4.

However, I can not access the internet when I chose a security password using WPA 2, WPA-PSK + WPA 2 PSK, or WPA/WPA 2. It only accesses the internet when I chose None.( no secured ).At this time, my network is unsecured because there isn't way I can access the internet when I create a security key using the 3 options the router offers.
