View 2 RepliesI am passing my computer on to a family member and wanted to give them a fresh install, so I used the Windows Vista (32-bit SP1) disc that came with the laptop and reinstalled Vista on the computer. Everything worked fine until I wanted to connect to the internet, then Windows said that there were no networks available. When I selected "Why can't windows find any networks" it said that "This computer does not have a wireless network adapter installed and configured". I put in the Dell Driver's and Utilities CD that came with the computer and installed the drivers that seemed related to networks or communications, but the problem persists. I'm assuming it is some sort of driver issue (as the computer was using wireless internet before the reformat (just hours ago) and so the device itself seems to be working.

View 7 Replies View RelatedWell one day i went onto my gaming PC and started playing, it randomly restarted and did some random windows check while starting. Then when i finally logged on i had no internet connection, my computer didnt sense there being a cable plugged in (Wired connection. The orange light wasn't on) So i figured i should just reinstall windows anyway (Blue screens, ect) After i reinstall i have the same issues. I have moved it to a different room and still the same thing. If i can't fix it then i plan to just buy a USB wireless but i would like to see what others think what i should do before i go making hasty decisions.
The computer say "Windows could not find a driver for your network adapter" I have tried many things i have found on this forum and nothing. So maybe a link to a driver? my Router is a Linksys WRT54GL and has always worked.
I have a Asus EeePC 701sd and upgraded to Win 7 Ultimate but I couldn't find any driver for the wireless network adapter
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just reinstalled windows 7 on my Intel i3 M380 laptop, and now I cannot connect to the internet wirelessly and I can't connect with a ethernet cable. In device manager, it says those devices aren't installed. I can't install them because the laptop has no internet. I can't seem to find the drivers for them either on intel. Seems like the reinstallation deleted my network adapter.. I can't find the correct link on intel.. I've tried like 3-4 on my laptop and none of them seem to work..
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have recently reinstalled windows vista on my dell inspiron 1525 laptop and now when I try to connect to the Internet It gives me the following message. Where can I get this wireless networking hardware?, is it on a disk that came with the laptop or do I have to download it using another computer and manually install it on my laptop. I have already don't some research online and have download some drivers but can't seem to install them on my laptop.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had the AE2500 adapter for a few weeks now, and it's worked fine up to this point. When I started up my computer today, however, it wouldn't connect to the network. I've uninstalled the software that came with the adapter and I've tried to reinstall it. However, when I got to the installation step to insert the adapter, the computer would not identify the AE2500. I've tried updating the drivers through the device manager, but I received an error stating that "a device attached to the system is not functioning".

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've just installed Windows 7 Ultimate on my PC, and wanted to add a Wi-Fi ability to it.
I have a Dell TrueMobile 1300 USB Adapter, so I tried to connect it to the desktop.
Windows didn't recognized it. I searched really hard across the internet - but couldn't find a proper driver to this device.
The only related thing I've found is a UTILITY from dell site (over here: [URL]
- but still - this installed only the Utility, not the driver. The adapter still stays "Unreconized" on my computer.
half of my laptop driver are corrupted (network, USB, and sound). I had installed a program called 'motion joy' and play with the software... right after i reboot my laptop, the sound icon and the network icon on the system tray are crossed out. I can see yellow exclamation mark on the drivers icons on device manager.
I made an attempt to roll back those corrupted drivers but nothing happen. Even when i try to update it, it says i had the latest driver. ;( I tried to uninstall the driver but the those driver files at 'system32/driver' are still there. I even tried to run driver CD that comes along with my laptop, and when I run the installer, it states that all the drivers are install.
so bascially now my laptop boot, run program BUT can't access internet , all USB ports are unavailable, and no sound at all.
Where can I download the driver for this network adapter ?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy network device tree now shows three (actually two) drivers not working, as follows:
Tuerdo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface Driver
and, ISATAP Driver
It is my understanding that these are used to send IPV4 encapsulated IPV6 packets across intranet, and that I need to update the network card drivers to fix the issue. I am not sure if the drivers shown on the Dell site will fix this issue.
I recently reinstalled Windows 7 because i had a really bad virus that grew and took over my computer.since I have reinstalled windows my internet connection is a wireless netgear WG111v3.The signal is strong but the transmit/receive performance is practically nothing so I cant even download flashplayer etc it just gets timed out.It also takes forever to open a site.before the virus/reinstalling my speed was excellent so I dont know why its changed now.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAT&T recently came out and replaced our Uverse modem, upon which iPad could connect to the new network, but neither of our laptops. I'm only a little technical with hardware/system issues, so after none of the more obvious troubleshooting issues worked, I started searching for more information and came across this site....great!! Eventually resolved the issue, suspect the wired connection through modem/router did the trick, but also updated the network adapter drivers. This (husband's) laptop was doing fine for a few hours, but then suddenly lost connection -- appeared that the network adapter was disabled. But when I went to enable it, it was gone!! It no longer appears in the Device Manager list at all. (It is/was an Atheros AR5700)

Failed to connect to the net.. checked it out on device mgr, found the code 10 fail.. All other drivers seemed to have loaded..

DLed the Broadcom driver to a thumb and installed it - no difference. Rebooted.. several times during all this.

I have Dell Latitude D620 and bought it refurbished, I did NOT recieve a backup drivers and utilities disk with the laptop. The computer worked fine for about a year I had no problems accessing the Internet at all. Then it crashed and I had to reinstall Windows XP. After reinstalling Windows XP it will not connect to the Internet at all. Even with the ethernet cord directly to the modem. Since it will not connect to the internet I can not do a diagonostics to see what driver it needs. I have tried downloading a few onto my other laptop and then use flash drive to install it on the Dell but have not had any luck with finding the correct driver. I am not that computer savvy and do not know what type of wireless card I even have.
