Cannot Reconnect To The Internet After Reinstalling Windows XP SP2 On HP DC7100 SFF

Cannot reconnect to the internet after reinstalling Windows XP SP2 on HP DC7100 SFF. Internet connection is via switch to modem to cable. Working fine previously, and other computer connected to switch still working fine?
I recently reinstalled Windows 7 because i had a really bad virus that grew and took over my computer.since I have reinstalled windows my internet connection is a wireless netgear WG111v3.The signal is strong but the transmit/receive performance is practically nothing so I cant even download flashplayer etc it just gets timed out.It also takes forever to open a site.before the virus/reinstalling my speed was excellent so I dont know why its changed now.
I have Dell Latitude D620 and bought it refurbished, I did NOT recieve a backup drivers and utilities disk with the laptop. The computer worked fine for about a year I had no problems accessing the Internet at all. Then it crashed and I had to reinstall Windows XP. After reinstalling Windows XP it will not connect to the Internet at all. Even with the ethernet cord directly to the modem. Since it will not connect to the internet I can not do a diagonostics to see what driver it needs. I have tried downloading a few onto my other laptop and then use flash drive to install it on the Dell but have not had any luck with finding the correct driver. I am not that computer savvy and do not know what type of wireless card I even have.
I've formatted my computer(Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit), then I downloaded my wireless adapter driver from my manufacturer's website, installed it and tried to join my home network but it couldn't connect it(or my neighbor's network, which I could access before formatting the computer).
ok my laptop dell XPS got virus and crashed...i cleaned it up and re installed window 7.Now my wireless 825 program is gone...i tried to install CD dlink 825 and it kept say retry.
I have a laptop that I have to reinstall everything again and have 4 cd's and not sure where to begin inserting them into my computer to reinstall everything. I tried doing it once and my internet connection wouldn't work and many items had a ? under my computer and properties so must not have downloaded the drivers right?
I just reinstalled windows 7 on my Intel i3 M380 laptop, and now I cannot connect to the internet wirelessly and I can't connect with a ethernet cable. In device manager, it says those devices aren't installed. I can't install them because the laptop has no internet. I can't seem to find the drivers for them either on intel. Seems like the reinstallation deleted my network adapter.. I can't find the correct link on intel.. I've tried like 3-4 on my laptop and none of them seem to work..
I have recently reinstalled windows vista on my dell inspiron 1525 laptop and now when I try to connect to the Internet It gives me the following message. "This computer does not have a wireless network adapter installed and configured" and it gives me the option to "Install wireless networking hardware, and verify that the correct drivers are loaded" . Where can I get this wireless networking hardware?, is it on a disk that came with the laptop or do I have to download it using another computer and manually install it on my laptop. I have already don't some research online and have download some drivers but can't seem to install them on my laptop.
WIFI is not working in my laptop after installing OS (windows 7). i had LAN drivers installed (now internet is working only through network cable not through wifi)
I am passing my computer on to a family member and wanted to give them a fresh install, so I used the Windows Vista (32-bit SP1) disc that came with the laptop and reinstalled Vista on the computer. Everything worked fine until I wanted to connect to the internet, then Windows said that there were no networks available. When I selected "Why can't windows find any networks" it said that "This computer does not have a wireless network adapter installed and configured". I put in the Dell Driver's and Utilities CD that came with the computer and installed the drivers that seemed related to networks or communications, but the problem persists. I'm assuming it is some sort of driver issue (as the computer was using wireless internet before the reformat (just hours ago) and so the device itself seems to be working.
I have internet on my computer at home and i have unpluged the computer and moved in to another room it is saying that i need to reconnect the internet.
My Internet will disconnect & then reconnect constantly. I have 2 laptops & they are both on my home network & I have no trouble with the other one so I assume there is nothing wrong with both the Internet service & router. The laptop with the problem is an acer/aspire 5720z. The Wireless Network Adapter is a Atheros AR5007EG. When I go to the Adapter Properties the status reads "The device is working properly". When I go to Control Panel>Network & Sharing Center my Wireless Network Connection Signal Strength reads Excellent. The operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium.
I kinda accidentally disabled our internet network and I can't find a way to reconnect it with our adapter. I tried to troubleshoot it and also search for our device, and nothing seems to work.
When doing anything on my PC, gaming, browsing, whatever, I will have random disconnects for a few seconds and it will reconnect. I don't get the "your network cable has been unplugged" message, it just stops working for a second or two and starts working again. This has been happening for a few months after a fresh install of windows xp and I haven't really tried to fix it.Every other computer in the house is fine except this one, it can't be the modem because a new one was installed a few days ago and its the same problem. The router was reset within the last week as well. I think the problem is with this computer alone but I don't know where to look. The problem didn't happen for a few days after I put a new network card in, but soon after it continued happening. I also have tried a few different CAT5 cables, even the XBOX one but nothing resolved the issue.
I have ASA5540 running IOS 8.04-K8, users are able to connect VPN over the internet but unable to re-connect VPN when users disconnected abnormally (abnormally means they are not disconnecting VPN manually, while disconnecting manually no problem occur). ASA showing an active session of the disconnected user and user having reason 433 while re-connecting VPN.
windows was unable to connect dlink (router) is message i receive on my laptop after setting my son's nintendo 3ds to the wifi connection. internet connection is otherwise fine on other devices in home.
Every two or three days I'm unable to reconnect to my wifi network when I turn on my Windows 7 laptop or Android tablet. I have to power cycle the wifi router to get the connection again. This usually happens after I haven't used either device for a day or two. The connection usually does not drop when I'm using them. Restarting the computer or the tablet does not work and using the Windows troubleshooter (or the android app for wifi issues on the tablet) also doesn't work. Both computer and tablet recognize the network and say the signal is strong but won’t connect to it. There are no physical obstructions. I have no problem with my internet connection (cable modem). The problem really seems to be with the wifi router.
Model name: Linksys E1000 Model number: E1000 Firmware version: 2.1.02 build 5 Operating system: Windows 7 SP 1 Software version: 1.3.11069.2 Connection type (WAN): DHCP
I'm trying to install ios into my cisco 2821 which boots in rommon. Apparently the ios is corrupted, I have set the IP_ADDRESS, IP_SUBNET_MASK,DEFAULT_ GATEWAY, TFTP_SERVER, TFTP_FILE but anytime I issue the 'tftpdnld' and confirm to continue, the process will time out give this error message" ARP: address resolution for 10.203.8.49 timed out.ARP failed with failure code 1. TFTP transfer aborted.
The router's software was installed on our desktop years ago and now, the desktop is quite old and we have to sell it. I need to know if we need to reinstall the software again in probably in one of the laptops at home.
I'm using an E2500 router and EA2500 adapter. I started from scratch today, uninstalling then reinstalling the software. As instructed in the video on the Linksys website, I plugged in the router, then the computer to cable to the router, then the router to the modem. When all was finished, I disconnected the cable from the computer to the router. Should I have left that in? When it's in, multiple networks shows in Network and Sharing Center.
I have WAG54G2 wireless modem. It has been working perfectly until I formatted my desktop computer and reinstalled Windows XP. Now I want to reinstall my modem but is gives this error:"Error 322 New Router or Gateaway Not Detected"The old wireless configuration still works with my laptop, but I am afraid of losing my wireless connection so I did not reset the modem. Do I have to reset it?
I've had the AE2500 adapter for a few weeks now, and it's worked fine up to this point. When I started up my computer today, however, it wouldn't connect to the network. I've uninstalled the software that came with the adapter and I've tried to reinstall it. However, when I got to the installation step to insert the adapter, the computer would not identify the AE2500. I've tried updating the drivers through the device manager, but I received an error stating that "a device attached to the system is not functioning".
I have a Dell Studio Laptop 1558. I recently reinstalled Widows 7 and then the drivers. I'm pretty sure I installed them in the wrong order. So how do I go about fixing that? Like I said I can't connect to any wireless networks. The networks don't even show up(I live in an apartment complex so usually I have a whole bunch of networks listed). I can only use the Ethernet cord to get online. I know the wireless works because my roomate can connect to the wireless internet.
I have a remote ASA 5505 running 8.3(2) that establishes a site to site VPN to a central ASA 5520 running 8.4(2) immediately upon startup. Then within a random interval ranging from 5 seconds to an hour, the VPN loses the connection, and is not reconnected. Only a reload of the remote ASA will reestablish the VPN tunnel. Then everything is fine until the next disconnection. Both sides have matching lifetimes, and keep alives are enabled on both sides. The debug from the remote ASA is attached, showing what happens through several disconnect/reload sessions.
I have a problem with my laptop, it is an HP DV6449us with a broadcom wireless wifi card. My problem is, that my wifi will be working one second, and the next it will disconnect me, and wont let me reconnect! It will show me available connections, and will try to connect, but, fails. Usually happens when waking up from sleep, or using the laptop for long periods of time.
iPad connects fine to WiFi leave it idle for 20mins and then when you wake it up, it doesnt reconnect. It is not just this 1 pad, i have about 20 users in the office with same problems. So far i have tried the following:
1. Update router firmware 2. Network initially had split up so each floor router was a DHCP server now only 1 DHCP server. 3. Test with different security WPA/WPA2 and No security. 4. Connect to different wireless router. 5. Try Apple's Airport but doesnt work in corporate enviornment(couldnt even get it working at home) 6. Try adjusting screen brightness (not in a million years is this a fix!!). 7. Static Addressing not an option as too many devices and it is not a fix.
I am in a third world country (Thailand) with ADSL service and getting customer support is difficult to say the least. The connection is constantly dropping but the real problem lies in that i can not reconnect unless i restart my computer.
The wrt400n works fine. Except randomly every day or every other day, laptops cannot connect to the router. Router lights are still on, blinking, etc, no change there. Releasing/renewing IP doesn't work. Turning off wireless radio on laptop and back on doesn't work.Unplugging and replugging in the router DOES work, and laptops can connect to the router again.Router is updated to 1.0.02 firmware, sine I thought that was the problem, but after firmware update, problem is still occurring.Wireless is set to mixed, channel width is auto?
