Cannot Get Laptop To Connect Again

I have Virgin at home and my desktop computer is connected up to the wireless router and so was my laptop and my mobile phone. A friend came over and I entered the code onto his phone for him also to connect up wirelessly when he is in my home and since then I cannot get the laptop to connect again.I have turned the router off and waited a while and turned it back on again numerous times and everything works except my laptop. I have tried to set up a new wireless connection but it doesn't let me and just opens the current one that says that the signal is excellent but when I click connect it says it can't.

Recently I installed connectify because my uni flat only had one wired outlet, and I wanted to use my xbox at the same time. It worked perfectly, but when I returned home I found my laptop could no longer connect to the home network, it just says it cannot connect, but all the over devices in the house work. My laptop can still connect to the internet via an ethernet cable but this isnt practical at home. I've uninstalled the connectify program, and tried my best to make sure I got rid of all the stuff it's done, but still my problem persists

For some reason, I can see the wireless connections on my laptop but not on my Dell Computer. When ever I try to connect on my computer i see no wireless connections at all, i have A wireless USB adapter that use to be on put in the back and recieved wireless connections in the past but now it doesnt, I try the front ports, and nothing works except for one, but that one port doesnt work for some reason, the same thing happens, no connection at all.

i tried googling but couldnt find anything use ful except for this website ( Url) when i first looked at it i was amazed tht it was sooo easy. but when i tried it it didnt work. when i tried it asked me a user name and password in the laptop but in my pc i couldn't find the laptop. I dont want any new ways to do it (unles u have an easier way than this. but with the same procedure.

For some reason, I can't connect my laptop to the internet. When I enable wireless connection it starts but there is an "x" over the icon and it never connects. I just bought a hp laptop and can't connect to my wireless router at home.Wireless assistant says "combo wireless device" is on, also says connected but with "limited access" (have not seen that before), but when I launch Expolorer browser it won't connect.My old laptop connects immediately.Also, took new laptop to work and it connects to work wireless network no problem.

Alright, so I have a Dell xps 12 running windows 8.On my school's campus, there are two wifi options. One is secure with a login, the other is unsecured but with a Web login. Normally I connect to the secure one and have no problem.
However, in one building I've encountered issues connecting. My computer will pick up the signal for both options (and says there is strong signal) , then try to connect to the secure one. It will say "connection is taking longer than usual" and then fail to connect, then say no networks available. I tried resetting the network adapters and it picks up the signal again for a moment, try to connect, and then same problem again.
I can see other people in the room connected to the Internet with no issue. My phone also connects with no problems, and has full signal. I have no idea why my computer won't connect.

Alright, My laptop (MSI) won't connect to my router, it used to connect, but I tracked it as intruder to stop my kids from getting on, and when I stopped tracking it as an intruder it wouldn't work at all, same with the computer in my kids room. It will connect to other networks, but not mine. I use network magic.

I have an HP laptop and a N600 NetGear Dual Band router. I hooked up the router and was able to connect to 3 computers. However my husband's laptop we were unable to connect it to the router. When we went into the Connectivity utility on his computer, we found the router and clicked on it. We attempted to put the password that was set by NetGear. However when I went to type in the password, it didn't allow me to type anything. It was as if the keyboard was locked.
Or is the router too "new" for this Laptop? The Windows systems is Xp Professional. Otherwise I may have to return it. We have an older NetGear router that it connects to with no problems.

I replaced a drive and installed an older version of xp (husband request). I can't connect to internet, wireless or wired. I saw a post that solved the problem, I seem to be missing drivers (other devices all have yellow ?). But I do not know where to locate the drivers. The computer is a ibm t43 laptop about 6 years old. I can't find any disks that came with it.

I have a Acer Aspire 5742Z running windows 7 It was working fine until yesterday but when I turned it on this morning there was a warning triangle on the wireless signal that reads 'no internet access'. I tried disabling it etc and nothing changed so I decided to connect through the lan point and it as exactly the same problem - 'no internet access'.I have now borrowed a netbook to test my connection and everything connects fine (i am on it now writing this) but my laptop is still not working?

I recently bought a mobile hotspot for my new start-up business (rather than paying for multiple internet locations) but I can't connect with my laptop--I'm really trying to avoid buying a newer laptop because my funds are limited right now.My iphone and PS3 can connect to the hotspot and run fine without any problems. I recently got a new router, the belkin with n600 db with F9K1102 v1 firmware.i upgraded from my old belkin router to this due to more wireless items in the house and for some reason i cannot get my HP G72 laptop to connect to it, and this isnt the first time i had issues with this laptop. the first issue was that if im more than say 10ft away from the router device my laptop would not connect, but if i was next to it it would work fine.now i can not seem to connect to this new router at all, i can pick it up, just it wont connect.. wirelessly it wont connect, but wired it'll work just fine.i get an error saying i could not be connected, and its going to troubleshoot then it just says it can not resolve my connectivity issues my wired desktop works.

I bought a DIR-655 router and am able to access the internet using my desktop PC just fine... But the problem is I can't get my laptop to connect through the router and i couldn't access the internet.. I have a Toshiba laptop with Vista and an HP laptop with XP...neither of which will connect to multiple connections. There's a home connection and one thru a Verizon MiFi. I thought the latest AVG update caused it so I uninstalled on HP and no change. It's neither Chrome or FireFox connecting either.
