Why do my connection not clear when my service goes to a down state. The only way I can get the connections to clear is by bouncing my content rule. CSS11503 version 08.20.4.05s - SSL all the way to the server --- I also have flow permanent port3 443 configured, but I don't understand why the other two servers go to zero while server01 never goes to zero. If I remove the flow permanent port3 all the counters go to zero, but I would think if the servers goes down then the connections should go to zero regardless of the flow permanent port configuration. It state the ASA 5585 have default 2 contexts,Does it state the ASA 5585 just have 2 contexts or 1 admin context plus "2" context (3 contexts available)

I have some tunnels which terminate to my home router. I'm allowing the other ends of the tunnels to use my voice setup. I need to prepend *67 to all called numbers which don't originate from my house. I don't want people calling my home number based on the caller-id number they see when someone across one of the tunnels calls.
So if 5008 calls 212-333-4444 I want it sent to my provider as *672123334444. If 5001 calls a number, I don't want it touched. Can I do this? I can use IOS or CUCM here.

I'm working with a Cisco Unified CM 7.0There are sevral ip phones in the place.ach phone has a 3 digit extension tied to it. no matter where on the network that phone is plugged in that phone has the same extension. This is a problem because one phone (extension 134) is damaged and was swapped out with a phone that has extension 102. I want that phone that has extension 102 to have the extension 134 instead. So that is my problem. I must say I am merely a CCNA and I have no idea about this voip stuff. I thought it was a simple log in to the server and make a single change. boy was I wrong. I clicked on call routing, then I clicked on Directory number and I got a list of all the DNs. I then click on extension 102 and 134. I noticed the MAC of the respective phones was in a field titled associated devices. I then dissociated both phones thinking I could just associate the appropriate phones next. as soon as I hit save that entire section disappeared. Now those extension aren't tied to any phone and once more those phones now have no extensions. I am freaking out because I can't undo this. I've clicked on literally every single option inside this server. I am in way over my head. I will include a picture to illestrate what I am talking about.

How to find the maximum number of PRIs supported on a given router:
Let's say I need to find maximum number of PRIs I can connect on a C3945.
I see that I could buy for example (4) VWIC3-4MFT-T1/E1. The C3945 comes with (4) EHWICs where such VWIC3-4MFT-T1/E1 cards can be inserted. Since each VWIC3 has (4) ports each, that would be total of 16 PRIs.
Then let's say I want to put more Service Modules and allow me to expand it further. The C3945 can support up to (4) service modules.
If I want to put the maximum number of PRIs possible, is it right I could install (4) NM-8CE1T1-PRI. That would give me maximum of 48 PRIs in a C3945.

you can subnet to meet the number of networks required, or you can subnet to meet the number of hosts required. In which circumstances would you use either one? or are they both the same? am kinda confused. Is subnetting according to the number of hosts VLSM? and subnetting according to the number of networks required is not VLSM subnetting? Also I'm on CCNA 1 chapter 6, if the other CCNA 2, 3 and 4 has chapters explaining subnetting better cos It's totally confusing me atm. Also, is my understanding correct, when a company wants a LAN made, a network designer see's how many hosts they require in each of their LANS and then chooses an appropriate address class and subnets it? and to connect the LAN to the internet he implements NAT on the router that connects to the internet, and that router translates the internal addressing scheme that was created into a public registered IP address from an ISP? Also does he just make the address up? for example if he decides to use class C, he just picks any random number in the class C range and subnets it?

I have 25 APs 1141 located in ten floor building and connected to WLC 5508 ver 7.4.100.0. After upgrade from wcl 7.0.116.0 few clients start to complain that there are affected by periodic disconnection from wirreless network. It happens twice an hour. In WLC log I noticed some errors on almost every AP:AP with MAC: c4:0a:yy:yy:zz:xx(AP1) radio 0: Associated Clients falls below max limit number:200. Failure Cause:Clear Maximum Client Limit Reached in WLAN..What does it exactly mean? I have no limit per WLAN (it is set to 0), but in WLC 7.4 i must put some limit for numbers of clients per AP and the max is 200. It is not possible that i have 200 users connected to one AP as in 10 floors there are like 150 users maybe. Number of all connected clients right now is 120.

This is a feature that I have researched for by looking at ISRs G2 data sheets and cisco.com website. The number of users that can be supported or the recommended number of users per router chassis/model is not mentioned anywhere. However this is mentioned in the Cisco 880 ISR data sheet. What are the number of users that can be supported or the recommended number of users on Cisco 1900/2900/3900 ISRs?

We are planing on offering low end ASA 5505s as a customer offer to connect their network to our cloud as this is a business requirment. However, one of my colleagues is convinced that the license for the 5505 is *not* based ont he number of IPSEC endpoints, but the number of distince connections via *any* tunnel. So, according to him, if you have a license for 10 IPSEC endpoints, if you have 11 people connecting via *one* tunnel from a customer's network to our cloud, you go beyond your license.

We have a deployment of 400 store. Each of those have 2 GRE tunnels running over MPLS & 2 GRE Tunnels running over Internet leading to our 2 data-centers. At each Data-Center, we have 1 ASR-1002 connecting both MPLS & Internet MPLS tunnels (800 total per router).
I saw in the documentation that OER & PfR cannot support more than 20 external interface (in our case GRE tunnels) per MC. Does it means that we need to have 20 routers acting as MC to be able to use PfR for our Internet GRE tunnels ?
Is there any more scalable solution for this ? How big company address this issue when they have a lot of interface to run PfR ?

I tried to add some more MACs to our Controllers through the WCS. I hate mac-filtering. We plan on stopping sometime. Three of the Controllers(4402s) are reporting that we have reached the max which appears to be 506.First, is there anyway to increase this number?Second, if not, any experience with deleting clients? Should I use reporting to find MACs that haven't been used for sometime and delete them? Is there a better way?

I say the answer is ten. That means ten hosts can be behind the firewall and hit the internet. The eleventh doesn't get to go out. I'm being told by a coworker that the "10" in the part number refers to the number of IPsec VPN peers.
Who's right?
I say if you want an unlimited number of users on the inside to be able to get to the internet, you need the ASA5505-SEC-BUN-K9
Mfg. Part: ASA5505-SEC-BUN-K9
Mfg. Part: ASA5505-50-BUN-K9
Mfg. Part: ASA5505-BUN-K9
Cisco ASA 5505 10-User Bundle includes 8-port Fast Ethernet switch, 10 IPsec VPN peers, 2 Premium VPN peers, Triple Data Encryption Standard/Advanced Encryption Standard (3DES/AES) license ASA5505-BUN-K9
