Feb 10, 2013I recently moved to another room as I was removing my router I removed some tape unbeknown to me it also removed my MAC Number. Is there anyway I can recover that Mac Number?

D-Link DIR-655 :: Missing Serial Number?
Jun 10, 2012I'm based in the UK and am using a DIR-655 router but I have no record of its serial number (there is no sticker on the item, and the original box is now missing) - is there any way I can ascertain which version of the router I have? As I understand matters, I need to know this so that I can apply the correct firmware upgrade, which is what I wish to do.

The command "track number rtr" is missing. There are just three options there:

interface Select an interface to track
ip IP protocol
list Group objects in a list
Why is that so and where is rtr?I have the same switch with the following ios version:
WS-C3560G-24TS 12.2(50)SE1 C3560-IPSERVICESK9-M
rtr is present in there.
Cisco :: Translate Called Number Based On Calling Number?
Mar 26, 2011I have some tunnels which terminate to my home router. I'm allowing the other ends of the tunnels to use my voice setup. I need to prepend *67 to all called numbers which don't originate from my house. I don't want people calling my home number based on the caller-id number they see when someone across one of the tunnels calls.
So if 5008 calls 212-333-4444 I want it sent to my provider as *672123334444. If 5001 calls a number, I don't want it touched. Can I do this? I can use IOS or CUCM here.
VPLS Testing Missing Something
Dec 13, 2011My company is moving the datacenter to our new building on Saturday, however the users will remain at the old building until late next month so they bought a 100M Metro E VPLS circuit through their ISP. I went to test it today but could not ping the workstation from my laptop. I wanted to do some bandwidth testing with iperf but could never get to that point because ICMP connectivity wasn't even there. From what I understand, VPLS is just a layer 2 extension so they way I'm testing the circuit below SHOULD work, but it isn't. Spoke with the ISP and they tested the circuit end-to-end on their equipment which was fine so am I missing something?

Apr 7, 2013There is NO connection although Belkin Wireless Adaptor is blinking to catch signal.Whenever there is no connection, I need to click Belkins Utility at System tray at the bottom in order to get connection, however it does not keep connected and lasts only 10-20 minutes.Besides this, I found when I clicked, icon of Belkin > Properties > Network and found there is no 'Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings.

May 29, 2012Yesterday there was huge storm, and lightning smashed into nearby house. My computer was running and I turned it off just after that. Result of nearby lightning was that internet no longer worked afterwards.
Soon after I was able to connect on my laptop, (laptop was connected and turned on during storm too) but desktop was still unable to do so.
I noticed that in device manager there is missing network adapter in list. EVerything is connected as it should be, but ethernet port doesnt have any lights on. I believe there should be some small light on port as is on my laptop, but Im unsure.
how I could check whether my network card is ok? Or what could the problem be? I really hope its just software issue.

1. Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network connection
2. USB 10/100 LANThe Intel device seems to be working, but the USB LAN has a warning exclamation through it.. and it says the drivers are not installed. How do I get these drivers? Surprisingly, R2 with the newer IOS (of the same feature set) does not have the second-dot1q command option. I've done my Feature Navigator homework but I did not see any significant differences between these two IOS versions that would explain why the second-dot1q command is not available on R2. Am I missing something? Has the syntax changed, or a different feature set is needed for 15.1M and higher to get the second-dot1q command back?

Am i just running the incorrect IOS or am i missing somehting, i need to change the QoS Map for my Nortel VoIP. The VoIP phones connect to a 3750 PoE which used to conenct to a 2651XM to route VoIP and data traffic over the same copper pairs (WAN link to hub site) hence the need for a Service policy but being Nortel phones, require changing the cos-dscp map. the 2801 is going to replace the 2651XM using a new HWIC.

Now, I installed the router and configured the 3G link that is working properly BUT all the commands related to the SMS are completely missing. In particular, I miss the command:

gsm sms archive path
