Cisco :: LMS 4.1 Sync Archive Partially Successful On Some Devices

I'm having trouble syncing the config archive for some of my nodes.
I get the error 'partially successful' (see attatched PNG).
I've looked in the dcmaservice.log (also attatched), and I can see the extended error message:

I would like to check the file structure / permissions, but since I don't know what '$1' refers to, I'm stuck.

we have an LMS 3.2 in which it cannot archive the configuration for a couple of routers. The output is the following:
Failed to fetch the configuration. Check the dcmaservice.log for details. TELNET: Failed to establish TELNET connection to x.x.x.x - Cause: connect timed out.
The issue is that i have configured all devices to be accessed through SSH first and then through telnet. I have tested SSH access from LMS with putty.

Iam using LMS 3.2. In short, there is 2 type of router, 2800series and 2900series. These device already join to TACACS server. When I try to sync archive I got:
- failed on 2900series
- successful on 2800series
I have doing same config (credential, snmp, protocol for sync archive), for those device on ciscoworks but why I find the error??

We have LMS 4.1 with more than 150 devices.Config Archive is failed for around 20 device.
11- Cisco VG248 ( Cisco analogue gateway)
7 - Cisco call manager
2 - Wireless Lan controller
For this device- discovery, Inventory Collection ,Fault Discovery, Topology Data Collection ,etc are successfull.

I configured a VPN on my ASA5505 and it seems to be working just fine if I connect with my i Pad or iPhone. But if I use the Cisco VPN Client, I can authenticate but can't get to any other the server that I can access just fine from my i Pad.
I can RDP from my i Pad to servers but I can't RDP from my laptop to the same servers.

I have my main pc downstairs, which is choc full of media files, work documents and the likes, and my laptop upstairs which is next to empty as I only use it for work/watching things. My issue is, on the main pc I have downstairs I have a few folders shared, completely open to everyone on the LAN. Few videos, pictures etc. I used the exact same sharing method for each folder I wanted to share, yet, when I get upstairs on the laptop, I can see the folders I've shared, but can only access like, 2 or 3 of 6 folders, the rest tell me; 'Windows cannot access \PCHEREFOLDER HERE, you do not have permission'. I've made sure of permissions etc on my main rig, tried unsharing and resharing the folder but to no avail, both have systems have different names, environment set to home etc? Homegroup wont work for some reason, both systems seem to think they're a part of a homegroup that didn't/hasn't ever existed and how to delete the homegroup from the network.

I installed the Linksys WMP54G wireless adapter card in my windows 98 SE computer before I installed the software. (I now know the software is supposed to be installed before the hardware is installed.) The software didn't work. It wouldn't connect to any network. (I have used this adapter card and software before, so I know how to get it to connect when it is working properly.)I used the uninstall to uninstall it, but it didn't work. It removed most of the files, but in the "program add/remove" window (in control panel), the Linksys software is still listed. Using "program add/remove" to try to remove the Linksys software also doesn't work. It acts as if it is removing the software and then shows a message that says the software is 100% removed, but, after rebooting, the software is still listed in the "program add/remove" list. The WMP54G CD won't reinstall the software. Instead it says the software is already installed. How to find whatever WMP54G software file(s) are left on my computer and tell me how to manually remove them.

I have setup Cisco Identity Service Engine (1.1.1) with Wireless LAN Controller (7.2.110)Everything is complete unless the URL redirect. My guest client can join the Guest SSID and also can authenticate to ISE.But after they success to authenticate with ISE, the URL in the browser doesn't change to the pre-configure. It still be something like [URL]. Anyway the content in the browser is changed to the URL that being configured such as url...How can I do with this situation cause everything is working fine but only the browser URL that is not change to the preconfigure one.

I am able to establish a single VPN session on an ASA 5510. The network is as follows:Cisco 2600 router----> ASA 5510---->non cisco UTM----> LAN.Once another session is connected (same profile different username) is connected the first one disconnected.

unable to remote desktop into any of the LAN PCs when I'm connected through the VPN. I can ping all nodes inside the network and I can open an inside addressed web page from my local PC, as well. So, it seems like it's only RDP (3389) that is affected. Remote access to those PCs are enabled, as I'm able to get to them via a different method (SBS Remote Web Access).

I'd like to enable client to router VPN connections. I have a question how to make any sucessful VPN connection to RV220W. From all the tests I made only SSL VPN on Windows XP x86 client machine was working.
For IPSec VPN I always receive this message: [rv220w][IKE] ERROR: Could not find configuration for XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX[500]. I tried with windows and shrewsoft vpn client.
Can't make SSL VPN to work in Windows 7 x64 client because the drivers are not digitally signed. It only works in Windows XP x86 but this is not acceptable. I need universal solution for win clients.
I also need working solution for Android Phone? Router firmware 1.0.3.5. I also tried this step by step guide. No go.

I have a ticket active with Cisco TACS Support but after 3 days and a complete uninstall and reinstall I am getting nowhere. I cannot let TACS into the server and I cannot post unsanitized logs for security reasons.I installed LMS 4.0 with the Win2K8 patch on Win2K8R2 64 bit server. No problems during a 2nd install (first one was completely removed per TACS). Checked all Windows event logs and windows firewall log. AV disabled. No other roles installed accept IIS (disabled) and DHCP (active). Ports are default HTTP: 1741 and SSL: 443.load site from server (IE 8) or workstation (IE 7) cookies enabled, and login with "admin" and the proper password and each browser quickly loads a blank page with this URL:

Apache error.log shows several interesting entries (*note IP and serer names are obfuscated for security)...these show up yesterday soon after install at the top of the log:

I have a problem with my Belkin router that is ruining any online gaming experience I want to have. Any time I try to play a game on my PC, I have to deal with STRICT NAT. On my router setup page I have all security features off, UPnP is enabled, and i'm pretty sure I have my computer in a DMZ. (As far as I know a DMZ'd computer should have an Open Nat right?)When I use run>cmd>ipconfig it says my ip address is 192.168.2.2, which is the same exact thing that is in my DMZ box, but it isn't appearing to work.Does anybody have an idea how to set up a successful DMZ on a belkin router?

I have a not-so newly installed LMS4.2 Linux appliance. Here is my configuration archive summary:

Which seems to mean that SSH does not work, which is false as I manually connects to the device from the LMS host successfully. Network devices access is authenticated against ACS servers using TACACS+ so there should be no problem with credential discrepency here.

I'm setting a Wireless Guest with a WLC 5508 (7.3) and ISE (1.1.2) -- (no anchor).It appears to work (still some adjustments are required), but I found when the guest user log in, it receives the successful login screen and inmediately the guest portal again. If another browser window or tab is open, the user can browse properly.

I beleive in the past these devices could not be managed bij RME config management, but now it says in the supported device table:The following features are supported:Network Topology Layer 2 ServicesFault ManagementInventory CollectionConfiguration Deploy Protocols: TELNET, SSH, TFTP, RCPConfiguration Fetch Protocols: TELNET, SSH, TFTP, RCP.The password and enable pasword are correct and simply work when I try a telnet from the server.The gui is not CLI but menu driven.RME just says:TELNET: Failed to establish TELNET connection to 10.1.1.7 - Cause: Authentication failed on device 3 times. PRIMARY-RUNNING config Fetch Operation failed for TFTP. Could not detect SSH protocols running on the device.

I've inherited a server running Ciscoworks LMS 4.0 to manage our plethora of switches. Running 'Configuration > Configuration Archive > Synchronization' against a Catalyst 3750 switch called switch1 successfully retrieved the Running, Startup, and VLAN configs.Running the same command the following day on switch1 failed and returned this in the job execution result:Unable to get results of job execution for device. Retry the job after increasing the job result wait time using the option:Admin > Collection Settings > Config > Config Job Timeout Settings I modified the job result wait time setting to be 600 seconds, tried again and received the same timeout failure. I have also seen this same Failed message on other devices, but have never actually received the configs for them, so I feel switch1 is a better place to start.What are the first things I should check in CiscoWorks for a problem like this? Is there a particular software revision I should be on with LMS 4.0? What timeout value should be used for Archive Synchronization?

I am getting some weir behaviour in my LMS 4.2 setup. I am doing and Archiveupdate job and am receiving a partial success for roughly 1400 devices. Here is some output.
Execution Result:

I went on and checked the dcmaservice log file.I found the following entry at the same time of this particulair job

In our organisation we have multiple Nexus 5000 switches, which Cisco LMS 4.2.2 cannot get the running-config and startup-config from with the Archive Management process. When it does try to get them, I get a error as follows:

I have setup a WAP321 with the captive portal activated.2 WLAN networks defined, one for the Normal-user and 1 Guest-user access (with captive portal).
The WAP Management is on its own vlan (vlan 1 ) , network 10.0.0.0 /24
The Normal network has a different vlan (vlan 14) , network 192.168.14.0/24
Guest user(s) are on VLAN143 , 172.16.10.0 /24
So when a guest connects to the wap, the management interface is opened (10.0.0.x), after successful authentication the user is redirected to a predefined site.What i would like to establish is to make it impossible for the Guest-user(s) to access the management portal.
Defining an acl on the management portal is not possible as i would like to use any ip adres on the Normal Network (192.168.14.0/24). Unfortunately you can only define 5 Fixed ipaddresses and not a (sub)-network.

I am trying to connect to the internet using the PPPoE feature of the router but the router configuration is not successful. Says something like "WAN connection not successful". I have supplied the correct username and password. The connection is ok in my laptop if i directly connect my laptop to the Ethernet port of the modem without the router. Is this a sharing problem from the ISP?

On our cisco 3750 switches we can take config backups with the archive command. After every "write mem" it rights the config to our backup server. We would like to do this also for our asa 5520 with version 8.2(2). I also searched in the command reference guide, but I can't seem to find the proper command to do it.

we have the following problems with lms 3.2 on windows. Archive management and inventory collection fail.
The following messages we get:
DCMA0055: URN_NOT_FOUND : urn "JRM" : Not found !!
DCMA0077: Could not create job. Check dcmaclient.log for more details.
Someone recommend to remove the following files ctmregistry and ctmregistry.backup.Will this fix the issue?
