Cisco Switches :: To Configure QOS / Allow COS Bit PassThrough 3750 To Peer

I have a pair of ACE 4710 and I think I have all the failover configured correctly and it all appears to be working. My question is regarding setting QOS on the physical interfaces that are part of my port channel. I have qos trust cos enabled on all the interfaces in my port channel. These interfaces are connected to a 3750 swith. Do I need to configure QOS on the 3750 to allow the COS bit to pass through my 3750 to my peer?

I have a question in regards to configuration I'm planning to implement. I currently have 2 x 3750 running in a stack. I would like to add 1 x 870 router connected to both switches.It's important for me that 870 is always available (it will only be used as a backdoor for our management network through WAN) but I don't want it to participate in any switching (including switching for management network unless it's going through this backdoor WAN). Do I need to configure spanning tree on all switches or stack is automaticly working as a 1 logical unit?As router is only using 100MB/s connection, how I can prevent this router from switching packets with other switches?

On a csico 3750 switch I have ntp server < IP of stratum 1 Time Server> I want the swit to sync to the to time server and provide time to peers on my network. Do I have to be configured for ntp peer < IP of stratum 1 Time Server> for that to work?

I bought my WAG320N, I too have the internet drop out and from reading in here is a very common problem. Cisco really should bring out a new firmware version and address this issue. Any way you can block peer to peer file sharing with the WAG320N? If so how do you go about it?

DHCP is achieved and DNS settings distributed via a basic Linksys router; is there any way of distributing proxy server address and port short of entering manually in LAN settings of IE on every terminal - there is no budget to install a server.

If I have two stackable switches one switch uplinks to one 6509 core switch and the other connection uplinks to another 6509 core switch, and also the other stackable switch does not connect to the core switches. Because I am using hsrp and also we are not using vss then one uplink to the core is not in used only ones is so then how does creating an etherchannel between does two uplinks to both core switches benefit me in anyway such as more bandwith and using both uplinks at the same time or I'm I wrong?

If I have two stackable switches were only one stackable switch has two uplinks one uplink goes to one core 6509 switch and the other uplink goes to the other 6509 core switch can a Layer 3 etherchannel be used if each uplink go to a different core switch, by the way hsrp is running between both switches and also can you give an example how data will be routed from the stackable switch through the ethernetchannel to one of the core switch accross the WAN to another core switch?

The Issue we have two 3750 switches and configured hsrp on that . Now instead of connecting these two swiches to an Intermediate common switch we have a cisco asa5520 which has 3 L3 ports of which is it possble to convert 2 ports as L2 ports and use those ports to connect to 3750 switches instead of a L2 switch.

i have 2 ssid with the same comfiguration (diff only in name) in one ipsec ssid vpn (l2tp over ipsec with natt ) works fine, in another after phase 2 is completed no traffic is forwarded and vpn session is dropped. There are no access lists on equipment.
I found in documentation that need to activate L3 security and set it to vpn pass-through, but in drop-down menu only one item "none". What is the reason to drop ipsec traffic ?

I have two 3750 switch.switch A(main) and switch B is connected by OFC but i have another wireless link for backup.Now if OFC goes down then i manually connect wireless link with switch B for this reasons i am faceing a lot of problem. I want without any changing of cable if my primary link goes down then my backup link automaticaly goes up and vice versa .
Switch-A port gi1/0/9 and Switch-B port gi1/0/9 is connect by OFC Switch-A port gi1/0/8 and Switch-B port gi1/0/8 is connect by Wireless link (backup) i attach my network diagram kindly find the attachment file.

My architecture is the same as show on the link with some difference.I use the router 1841 for inetrnet connexion instead of 7200VXR, this router 1841 is connected on the catalyst 3750 port G1/0/1.I use catalyst 2960 instead of catalyst 2950 or 2948.I use ASA 5510 for conexion on remote branche(I have 5 remote site), This ASA is connected on the catalyst 3750 port G1/0/37
Result of the test:
-I can ping devices in the same Vlans
-I can ping devices in different VLANs
-I can ping all device from the catalyst 3750
I cannot ping the router 1841 or ASA 5510 from the any devices (computer)The gateway of each computer is the correpondant VLAN IP address configured on the catalyst 3750.Why I cannot ping the router 1841 or ASA 5510 from the any devices (computer)

I have a Meraki Firewall that sits behind my Cisco RV082. The Meraki is setup to run a VPN connection with my server but I am having problems passing the VPN traffic through properly.
I have 2 Uverse Internet Connections that the RV082 using load balancing so that they are shared. I have 10 static IP's.
I am trying to come in on one of my static IP addresses throught the Cisco RV082 to the Meraki and after doing a capture on the meraki it appears that it is starting to receive data to intiate the VPN connection but when it sends data back to the VPN client machine it never makes it.

I have a DIR-655_RevB updated with the latest firmware 2.03NA. I have two VPN devices in my house trying to get to my corporate office: a VPN phone and my laptop with a VPN client, both use IPSec. Either device has no problem making a solid VPN connection separate from each other. Meaning that when my laptop is not connected, I can connect the VPN phone with no problem. And when the VPN phone is disconnected, the laptop also has no problem making a solid and stable VPN connection. So I know the router is configured correctly to let thru VPN traffic for either device. i.e. IPSec is enabled, UDP/TCP Endpoint Filtering are both set to Endpoint Independent (and I've tried every other combo), SPI is disabled.
The problem is that I need to have both devices connected simultaneously, which this router is supposed to handle. If I have the VPN phone connected first, then when I launch the laptop VPN client, the VPN phone gets disconnected. I'm assuming that at this point, all VPN traffic is being tunneled back to the laptop. I cannot re-establish the VPN phone connection until I disconnect the laptop client, at which point the VPN phone "automatically" reconnects (meaning I don't have to reboot it, the VPN traffic just somehoe gets redirected back to this device)

For example, How I can limit a interface to 3Mbps..I was thinking about this:
- Limit the interface to 10Mbps: speed 10
- and limit the interface with 30% of this speed: srr-queue bandwidth limit 30
Does this work for both UPLOAD and DOWNLOAD?When the packets passes that 3Mbps limitation, will they be droped?
