i often want to watch a live streaming but after a while i disconnect from the internet with no apparent reason.Sometimes the internet comes back in some seconds, sometimes in minutes, sometimes in hours and sometimes it just wont come back even if i reset the modem.Restarting the laptop always works...!I saw some threads in regard of the same matter but i couldnt work anything out.

View 1 Replies View RelatedCanon T3i hooked up to a laptop running ExtraWebcam and Yawcam.Yawcam running an HTML and Stream output to the network/web.I would like people to be able to access that video from the [the internet + network or internet or network] (those are the options/possibilities and the order in which I'd prefer).I am able to get people to access it via the network, but not the net. I'm using my Samsung Galaxy SIII on Sprint to tether (obviously not tethering if I'm only going to the network). Unfortunately, not only can I not access the stream via the internet, I can't even ping the phone.I'm pretty sure I need to open up/forward some ports, but I understand that that's not possible seeing as it's Sprint's network and not mine.
I will also have access to a local wifi network if there's a way to 'piggyback' off of that for web access to the stream even if I don't have access to the router control panel. I'm not sure if I'll have a hard wire connection to a router or not. I can, however, change the ports that the stream is set to.(also, I can bring a separate wireless router to connect to my tethered computer to open up the internet enabled stream to the network?)Given a laptop with a wifi card, a phone that can tether, a wifi network, and, if necessary, an extra wireless router, how can I stream from Yawcam and make it available to the internet if I DON'T have access to the wifi network's port forwarding? I have a blueray player that I want to put in the computer that works as a server for me. The server is the computer that I have the vpn attached to and is therefore the one that gets all of the downloads as well.I am also thinking of upgrading the network for this to 1000 bit - N standard? With the faster throughput on the internet will it be feasible to stream a blueray across the network?

Maybe for a minute or less, but there was never any obvious sign of disconnection, IE. my tray icon never says disconnected or limited connectivity. But there are signs of getting disconnected when I am either gaming or watching videos online. The video would buff a bit then get stucked, then loads after a few to 30 sec delay. When gaming, I would lag out or have everyone waiting for me to connect back (warcraft3, starcraft When I am downloading files, this does not ever happened, no matter how big the file size is. This problem started a few days ago. I tried restart the modem but I cannot possible do that every 15 mins. Another problem that could possibly be also be the same is that I am connected but cannot browse websites. If I am downloading anything, it will still keep download, i just can't browse or log on to online games.

It also happens when trying to stream video through Veetle or Sopcast. I have spent hours on google trying to find the solution to this and can't find anything. I have tried switching my firewall off, changing tons of settings of my wireless connection. I also updated my Broadcom wireless driver to the most recent one.

View 2 Replies View Relatedinternet won't stay connected for more than 2-4 minutes at a time. I recently got a new modem, as recently as two days ago. It connects fine but within 2-4 minutes it disconnects then reconnects itself within 20 seconds. It's a plusnet modem and in the corner of my screen I have a little computer screen with 3 signals coming out if it which flash. It's called Wireless Network Connection Status. Beside it are 4 bars not too dissimilar to mobile signal. They too are green and when I click into it it's called Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility.

The one i had before worked fine and was easy able to connect to my router with high connection, but with this new adapter i can still connect but have pretty low signal like 2 or 3 bars and whenever i try downloading anything or try watching films or just surfing the web for like 10 minutes it says limited access with a yellow exclamation mark on the signal bar and the only way to reconnect to the internet is to first disconnect and reconnect every time.

I changed the channel on the router, resetted the router numerous times. I connected the ethernet cable from my pc directly to the modem to see if it was in fact my router and not the modem. My pc never disconnected once while connected to the modem. In order for me to download something or stream a video I have to connect my pc to the modem and it is becoming a pain!

i have 5 computers connected 3 are connected via Wifi and 2 are wired plus whatever device i have is on wifi veryday for the last 2 weeks my internet goes out every few hours. Yesterday i had internet all day until this morning when it disconnected again, in order to have my internet up again i have to reboot my router by disconnecting the adaptor.Heres the weird thing all of my computers internet goes down but the vonage service still works and iif i connect my PC directly to the Ubee modem my internet stays on without issue problem is i need vonage for my phone plus all my other computer in the house ive tried to renew and release my ip in my main rig which i guess worked a bit since when this problem started the internet would go off every 10-20 min after i did the renew release the internet stays on for atleast 3 - 6 hours?

Happens every few hours, but is fixed by reconnecting my router. Although this is inconvenient because I run an IRC chat and a small web server. I'm not sure if those would cause such a problem, but I hope not
View 14 Replies View RelatedI am connected to the router with a cable , a router which my internet provider supplied me with.The problem used to happen before , occasionally , but the disconnecting has drastically increased lately , and these days it has become unbearable , it occurs at least once every hour , especially when i'm playing a game online or so.The disconnects last very shortly , or until i reset my router or disable/enable my network in network connections.I have 2 more laptops in the house , connected via wireless , and they've had no issues with this.The first time these problems occurred i was able to fix it just by doing the windows troubleshoot, which lead to an error saying "Default gateway is not available".I found a lot of threads on the internet regarding this issue , and tried all of them but none seemed to work.
I tried downloading newest drivers from my motherboard site first , then from Realtek's site, then deleting old drivers via DriverSweeper aswell , just in case , but it did nothing.I tried changing the Speed & Duplex to 100mbp/s Full Duplex , which has solved the issue for some , but again it did nothing.I called my internet provider , was told to use static IP address and type it in manually and if it didn't work to try plugging the cable into another slot on the router ,And after all those things , i feel like the problems is even bigger now. I now no longer get the "Default gateway is not available" error , and the only solution is to reset router or disable/enable network , which leads to the network being "unidentified" for some time before it connects.
Got a problem with my connection, it keeps disconnecting every 10 minutes or so, usually at the same time every day. View 2 Replies View RelatedMy bb connection is very unstable and disconnects randomly whenever it feels like it. I have a master socket with one extention (slave I believe its called) however there is nothing plugged into the extention at all and my telephone and bb are connected to the master with a filter. After reading a few threads I have tried some tips which were to disconnect the bell wire (number 3), replace the faceplate, and filter with new ones and try another router none of which have made a difference. I have now removed the faceplate and plugged directly into the test socket. This definitely works and keeps the connection alive for longer sometimes a whole day but then it goes again but definately no where near as often, (she says as the Internet disconnects!)We have several things connected to to router which are up to 3 laptops using windows 7 and vista, up to 3 phones and 2 xboxes however these are never all connected at once but when the connection goes it disconnects all that are connected. I have also been with 3 different providers and this has been the same with all of them. The house is only 9 years old so I don't believe it can be that the wiring is too old but maybe that there is a dodgy connection somewhere?

I am running Windows XP on a desktop computer with the most current service pack installed and I have a linksys wireless router installed in the computer. I know the router isn't linksys, I think it may be netgear. I have no way of connecting wired to the router. My bf's laptop running windows 7 is used wirelessly in the same room as my desktop and rarely has any problems connecting. I should mention that this problem also occurred on this computer while living in other locations and using different routers, but it was never this sporadic. It was best when used in conjunction with the linksys WRT54G router.
I realized today looking at the status of the wireless network connection that the network name and signal strength will disappear and reappear randomly, all while still saying I am connected and that I have sent and received packets, and sometimes randomly changing connection speed as well. Sometimes an alert bubble will pop up saying that my internet connection is connected and that I have excellent signal strength, with varying speeds, but the internet still doesn't work. Or sometimes it does work. How to access it.

I have tried to put an ethernet cable in the back of my computer but my ethernet port doesn't work, so I use a wireless adapter. It is a D-Link DWA-552 Xtreme Desktop Adapter IEEE 802.11g, IEEE802.11n Draft 2.0 32-bit PCI Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates WPA2. My connection is excellent. Speed is 130 mbps.
