Internet Suddenly Stopped While Watching Movies On YouTube?

My internet worked for like 4-5 days then suddenly stopped while I was watching some random movies on youtube then I keep getting this error :"Local area connection" doesn't have a valid IP configuration, I could go see the university support, but the problem is they don't work during the weekend and that's the second time I have this problem within a week. That's annoying and leave me without internet for couples of days[CODE]

I keep loosing internet conection when i`m watching youtube videos. Conection is wired and super fast fiberopticks internet. Trouble shooter says: no valid IP adress and one other thing. As soon as i restart the laptop everythig fine untill i try to watch again. Afraid i will destroy the computer by constantly restarting

I have a NAS (DLink) connected to my router, and my samsung smart TV. I currently use a Boxee Box for the family in another room, and it works great. However, I now want to be able to watch the movies (.mkv's) stored on my NAS, on my smart TV in my room. I want to be able to do so without leaving my PC on. The TV uses a Samsung 'dongle' to connect to my WiFi.

I have this D-Link DIR-825 and it was working fine till yesterday. All of a sudden it stopped connecting to internet. I restarted it and tried to login to the router but failed. I called the support and did a hard reset of the router. After that when I am not able to connect to the router from my computer for configuring it again. When I connected the Router to my computer via LAN cable sometimes the LAN port is glowing and sometimes it is not. I tried different LAN Cables too. But nothing is working and I am not able to get to the router page.

Well, I have a WRT120N Router for 11 months to now. I never had a problem with the Router, but since 2 days ago, It didnt connect to the internet.
My network is: Internet > Cable Modem > WRT120N > Computers
As I said, the problem is that the Router doesnt has Internet Connection.
Things to take in consideration: The Cable MODEM ISN'T the problem Because if i connect the modem directly to a computer, I have Internet connection without problems.I Diconnected and Connected both Modem and Router in several ways and several times, and it doesnt work.I also tryed clonning my PCs MAC address to the Router and it was the same.The Router Indeed receives the External IP Address from the Modem, and also, it changes if i restart the modem (as my ISP IP is DHCP). But there is NO internet conection.The Router had the 1.0.05 Firmware, and i upgraded to 1.0.06, and the problem persists. Another thing to take in account is that if I turn off my modem and the I turn it On, sometimes, the router receives Internet connection, but in matter of Seconds (minutes as much), the internet connection falls.
This is NOT an ISP problem, because as I said, if I connect the Modem Directly to any PC, i have a perfectly normal Internet Connection, And also, I called my ISP and they Said me that there werent any problem on their network.
I have also tryed with the "Router Dianostics" (the Ping and Traceroute options that are in the Router's Webend and also, no conection. So its NOT a Cables problem.

I have connected two PC's(xp & win 7) using cross over cable.I configured all the things. I was able to share my folders from one pc to another. Also i was sharing internet connection.But one day it suddenly stopped working. I changed IP address and tried all that i could do. Nothing worked.Now when I ping a PC from another it replies only once out of four and if I try to ping one more time , reply never comes.When i reboot both PC's and scan using angry IP, it shows other pc only once.

I was just browsing the net when all of a sudden internet lost connection.I am using Windows 7 64-bit Home Edition.I tried these solutions, but didn't work;
---reboot pc
---turn off the modem, wait 10 minutes and turn it back on
---ipconfig /release, /renew in admin mode
---built-in Windows troubleshooting
---updated drivers
---use different ethernet cables

I'm having problems with the wireless button after I took my laptop apart to clean. The wireless button won't switch on at all and doesn't light up. When I press fn f8 nothing happens. I'm not sure what I've done. The wires are correctly in place as far as I can tell. called my internet company yesterday with a problem that my internet was not working.. so we went through some steps and basically he had me remove the wireless cord from the router put it into my computer (at the time it wasn't working via that either) and reset my ip, it started working after that and he just said I must've gotten a faulty ip. Now it still won't get internet from my router, we all have laptops in the house so wifi is essential. The internet light on the router still blinks green.[CODE]

I have a Dlink Dir-615 router and a Motorola SB6120 Modem. For some reason the router suddenly says it's receiving internet access from the modem. It has worked for several months beforehand. I tried another Dlink modem and got the same results. I have my computer hooked directly to the modem hence the ability to make this post.

I have a DIR-825 (B) for over a year now. This morning, the wireless on it suddenly stopped working. Meaning, all my machines not longer seeing the signal from that router. If I hardwire to it, it will work fine. I have check the wireless settings and they all look fine.

Three nights ago, around 9:30 P.M PST, my wireless connection to my router began constantly dropping every few seconds/minutes. This happens to all of my wireless devices only while I am in my bedroom, nowhere else. In every other room, my connection is stable.

My dlink dir 628 wireless router suddenly stopped working yesterday. If I plug the ethernet cable directly into my computer and the internet works. I see the wireless profile in the options for the wireless internet, but when I try to connect, it is unable to do so.
I've tried resetting the router (using the button on the device) witand reinstalling the router (using the CD), but still not working. Also have tried turning off the modem, router, and restarting my computer.

I have had a setup in which my four DCS-930Ls transfer picture every 15 minutes over a Dovado-router connected to a mobile broadband modem. This has worked perfectly until this last night. No pictures are transferred and upon using the test FTP function the status page just says "Testing ...." forever. I've also tested e-mailing picture without success.

My M20 Valet Plus stopped working suddenly last night. Now no power lights will come on and it now longer transmitts as a connection point . No apparent sign that it's alive. I've owned it troublefree for just over a year, but it is out of warranty. Any way to tell if there is hope of reviving it or if I'm just out of luck? Nothing happened at my end to cause this -- no power interruptions or other odd occurrences.

A couple days ago I noticed that my wireless internet connection on my iPhone would cut in and out, then stopped all together. I also had no connection on my mac which is wired to the WRT110. I bypassed the WRT110 and then I had a connection on my Mac meaning the WRT110 is the problem. I haven't changed or added anything lately that could've caused this....

I have the Linksys WRT54G And it was working fine for years! Then today my computer shut down and when I turned it back on there was a connection but my computer was not responding to any commands. The icon shows full connectivity excellent connection. When I try to go to a web page it shows Connection Error and cannot get to any web pages.I am able to get on other wireless connections from neighbors but not mine. I have gone thru different directions on here and I am not technical and don't understand what is being said. I try to go to 192.168.1.1 and it asks for a password which I don't have. I have tried everything such as password and admin and get nothing.I am able to get my ip address and default gateway address and don't know the next step.

My Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop has suddenly stopped detecting my wireless network. IT detects every other network in the area but mine. Other computers in the house have no problem detecting and connecting.Wireless is enabled, it happens no matter how close or far from the router. The network is set to broadcast the ssid, etc. I have not changed any settings on my laptop or router, this has suddenly started happening. Have updated drivers to no effect.Occasionally, the network pops up when I re-start the laptop. Rarely works and sometimes it will detect the network, then fail to connect, then the network can't be detected at all.

I have a Linksys E1000 router just upgrade to the latest 2.1.0.2 firmware...I have a PPPoE connection which used to run smoothly on the router..however off late...suddenly the router stopped connecting..it always shows "connecting" in the status tab of the router page...and eventually says failed to obtain IP address...however when I attach the cable directly into my PC it works just fine.I also had a word with my internet provider...he's kept the MAC open (or something like that) so he said that isn't the issue and he keeps saying there must be some issue with the router. However, occasionally the router DOES connect for half hour or so and then just refuses to connect again !..

certain websites couldn't be accessed on any of our devices (mixture of PC's, android and apple devices)After trying everything I could think of and even phoning our internet provider nothing would get the sites to load (Facebook, hotmail to name but two)A friend of mine also said he was having exactly the same problems whereas no one else I know had any problems!.Anyway, after much scratching of head with resetting the router to factory defaults etc the only thing left to test was a direct connection with the modem where all websites worked perfectly!So the problem is 100% the router! Even after a factory restore it still doesn't work with those websites and after talking to my friend it turns out he too has a tp-link router but a different model.

on ASA 5540 , i configured the logging setup as following :
log in to the internal buffer : buffer size 1048576 bytes
Then i save the buffer to FTP server to save the log messages in continuously way everything was working fine but suddenly sending the ftp traffic to FTP traffic has stopped suddenly before in the live log viewer it was showing when ASA throws the ftp traffic to the ftp server but this stopped suddenly nothing has changed in the ftp server setting (same username and password and the connectivity is there) sending logging traffic to the ftp server came back just when i reboot the ASA.but this is not solution.

i often want to watch a live streaming but after a while i disconnect from the internet with no apparent reason.Sometimes the internet comes back in some seconds, sometimes in minutes, sometimes in hours and sometimes it just wont come back even if i reset the modem.Restarting the laptop always works...!I saw some threads in regard of the same matter but i couldnt work anything out.

I have a blueray player that I want to put in the computer that works as a server for me. The server is the computer that I have the vpn attached to and is therefore the one that gets all of the downloads as well.I am also thinking of upgrading the network for this to 1000 bit - N standard? With the faster throughput on the internet will it be feasible to stream a blueray across the network?

For whatever reason, as of Tuesday afternoon my laptop can no longer connect to wired internet. I am a college student (NYU), so I cannot access a modem or router myself. I have tried:
-Plugging my cord into another jack in my dorm room
-Using my roommate's ethernet cord
-Taking my cord and laptop to different areas on campus (library, other dorms, etc) that use different wired networks, and attempted connection there Worth noting is that I can still connect to wireless internet just fine (however, my dorm does not have wireless, making things very difficult for me).My ethernet adapter is a Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller. It was just updated today, in hopes that maybe it was a driver issue (Prior, it was a Realtek 8168C/8111C, whatever that means). All drivers have green checks next to them and appear to be working. Here is my IPConfig info:

I'm not the sole user of this computer, I woke up a few hours ago and my roommate tells me that the internet suddenly slowed down to a ridiculous speed, we haven't come close to exceeding the data usage from our provider. We use DSL broadband, not wireless. Some pages partially load, some pages do not load at all and some load completely but after a really long time. When I open a youtube vid a fraction of it loads before it stops, then when I click to skip a bit of the video the same problem happens (but sometimes the video completely loads...). I only use chrome but the speed is the same on IE and firefox as well.
Maybe a year or two ago, a computer guy installed all the antivirus things and programs necessary when we previously had problems. Not sure what it is....but an ESET Nod32 frame thing appears every time the computer starts for a few seconds so i assume (?) that this is our antivirus. Again, pretty much retarded computer-wise here haha. I find ESET nod32 in the start bar to see if maybe i can click it or run a scan or something but after I click it nothing happens at all....Not sure how relevant this is but this is the system info recommended by this website:

A couple days ago my gateway nv53 running windows 7 suddenly shut down not too long after a virus was found, upon restarting the Internet is no longer connecting and saying it is connected with "limited access". My iPhone, Xbox, and other devices in my apartment still function normally and only my computer is not connecting.
