How To Block Adobe Acrobat X Pro 10 From Connecting Internet
Jan 26, 2011
if there is any method to block the internet connection for adobe acrobat x pro 10. Actually I do this, because currently I am using a trial version of adobe acrobat pro 10, and I am using an unpermitted serial number (crack). so each time the serial is detected immediately when I connect to the Internet.

When ever I play a video a pop up will occur pertaining to permission for some site or another to store some of their information on my computer, I can choose accept or deny. I click on accept but the box just stays on the screen and I can't get rid of it. The only time that this box will pop up is if I'm reading any kind of story and there is a video to watch with it, I'll read the story then click on the video and then the box pops up and I tried clicking the accept then the deny buttons but nothing happens. Once in a while if I keep clicking one or the button repeatedly the box will go away but by the time that happens, the video is over. All I wanna do is change the settings so it will never pop up again. So how do I do that

I have a linksys wrt54g router. i need to block all devices except one from plugging in a wired device into the back of the router. i tried the mac filtering, but i didnt work. Is that for wireless only?I can also block local ips (192.168.1.x), and was going to go that route and only allow my local computer but i was afraid if i restarted my router or computer the ip would change and i would be locked out.

I recently was instructed to block Facebook from a specific persons phone. I was able to block access to Facebook from the browser, but this person can still access Facebook via the mobile app. I have already placed m.facebook.com and facebook.com on the "no-go list" on my router, which like I said, specificaly blocks the browser on phone, but not the app. I can't seem to figure out how the app accesses the site and how to block it.I've already done some Googling, and read that port 9339 plays some kind of role. I don't know how true this is, but I tried it anyway, to no avail. I am not to savvy with ports so it could be my error. And before it is mentioned, this person cannot access cell data, as the phone does not get service, only WiFi.

I am setting up a network for a friend with children. He has a BT homehub and wants to block their access between certain hours. However by using access control on BT it tells you that you have been blocked which is no good as he cannot feign ignorance and pretend he doesn't know what to do (as his kids will pester him to fix it). He therefore wants to block their access more discreetly (as if the internet was generally timing out or messing up instead of actually displaying they have access control). Is there a way to block an individual's access on the router without blocking everybody either on a timer or manually done each time (thus if there isn't a way of automating it he can at least do this manually each time).

How do I configure Cisco ASA 5505 (using ASDM 5.2) to block a workstation (IP address) from accessing internet completely? I was trying to set up a new incoming access rule for outside interface to deny any IP traffic to that workstation but it doesn't work from some reason - the workstation can still access the internet. The ASA has no special settings, only a few ports opened for servers?

I want to block all program from accessing internet except one. I can do it using Windows Firewall but some programs doesn't get blocked!
And the list is too big to block them one by one (some programs doesn't get unchecked to block them).
I play online game (Counter Strike:CZ) that lags after some intervals (that lag is my actual problem) so i want to stop every app to access internet except my game.

I am trying to allow a block of 7 or 8 devices to access the internet all the time. Two other devices I would like to allow internet access during a set time range. Finally I would like to block internet access to all devices not in one of the above groups. I need to use MAC addressing to identify the allowed devices. I was able to do this with my old WRT-54G but the DIR-825 is giving me trouble. My main problem occurs when I try to block access to "Other Machines". When I do that all devices on my network are cut off the internet.

I have the Qwest/Actiontec Q1000 modem/router. I go to the ip address using my web-browser and open up advanced configurations -> access scheduler. I select a computer (and it automatically adds the MAC address) and then the days/times I want the internet to be accessible. However, when I click "add" (to add my internet allowance to the scheduler list) it just says 12:00 to 0:00, which is essentially permanently blocking the internet for that computer.

how to block a user from using the internet when they plug their computer into a router. My roommate has refused to pay her share of the internet and, being a college student, I don't have enough money where I feel generous enough to let her have free internet after stiffing me. Basically, I have 2 routers at the moment (hoping to fix this soon): my Qwest modem works as a router but I also have a Linksys router connected to it. The only phone jack is in her room so I have no way of stopping her from plugging her computer straight into the modem and/or router. I've configured the wireless so that she would be unable to access the, wirelessly but I'd like to know how to prevent her accessing the internet when she plugs her computer directly into either component.

I have a VMware workstation on my host computer (windows 7) and the VMware workstation has a virtual machine (windows 7) on the host. We were trying to allow internet access only to the Virtual machine, i.e. to minimize exposure of the host to the internet. I tried to use Vlan Access Control list with MAC ACL to deny the host virtual machine from accessing the internet and allow all other traffic including the virtual machine. The configuration works for some time and after some time when the virtual machine continously pings the c3750 switch (wher the VACL is implemented), the host also pings the c3750 switch and re-establishes connection with the internet. But when we configured the c3750 switch to deny the VM and allow all other traffic, it works fine. It seems like the host automatically finds a way to get arround the VACL.

We've got Workgroup LAN at our office and the Server is configured by the OS “Windows Server 2008 R2”. Most of the users use OS Windows XP-Service Pack-2. Now, I want to see the Internet surfing status/activities done by any particular user/users at any time from the Server. You know that, some people enter into restricted sites which impose severe negative impact on the network. If I could trace from the Server any user of doing this, I shall block his Internet connection from the Server.

E2000 about a years old.One of the rule is to block internet access from 1am to 4am for certain internal IPs.Working fine until a week ago. Once the time kick in, the E2000 will not route any internet access for any internal IP until the unit is power off and power on reboot. If that rule is disabled. then the E2000 will route all days and nights with no problem.Updated firmware to 1.0.0.4 already.I replaced the WRT45 because of the same problem a year ago. Now just about a year, this E2000 keeps blocking all traffic.
