May 3, 2011I am trying to install SSL VPN on our 1941 router. When i try to send a CSR for signing the site complains about the country code not being correct. How can i change the contry code in Cisco IOS Version 15.0(1r)M9 ?
It is also complaining about the domainname, but the thing right now is the contry code.

Jul 23, 2012We have an AP located on a German site which is supposed to connect to a WLC which is in Germany as well. Our network however is spread to France as well where another WLC is located. Now, the AP can not be convinced to connect to the German WLC. Despite our efforts (e.g. manuel IP configuration, reset to factory defaults) we don't manage to bring that AP to the German network - this is by the way the only AP, all other approx. 200 work just fine.

Jul 6, 2011I have a WLC 5008 running with 40 AIR-LAP1042N-E-K9 and country code BE (Belgium) configured.I also have some AIR-AP1142N-C-K9 which I converted to CAPWAP OS.Unfortunattely only 1 of the 2 radio interfaces is working because of regulatory reasons.(the AP's are -C models which stands for China - although they were bought in Belgium too).I tried to activate the country codes for BE and China, but the WLC won't accept both.Is there a way to get the 2nd radio interface working ?

Jan 23, 2013We have cisco 2504 controller and 1200 series access point.These are in India and country code is IN.When access point joins the controller , then in wireless>advanced , i see the two country code is already configured these are Sri Lnaka(LK) and Singpore (SG).I have disabled the radios and changed the country code to IN but after doing that Access point is not joining the controller and giving the duplicate error.
Then i have again set the country code to IN,LK and SG.I am able to see the LK and SG but In is not showing in drop down list.
Operationally everything is working fine.

Aug 31, 2009I bought a v1. wusb600n for win XP sp3, recently for no apparent reason, it became stuck in country region #2 (ch 36 to 64) when i use WZC or even netstumbler to view networks. I have tried uninstall/reinstall of driver, tried using ralink's driver and even another usb600n, but the problem remains.
Checking the INF files shows that all the drivers are trying to install as region #0 (36-64 + 149-165) but they are always showing as region #2

Jun 15, 2012I thought I would leave a message on a problem. I did two chats to the support desk and this was not brought up and it is obvious. I just installed the 4200v2 as a replacement for a NetGear. I bought for the n performance and the USB for a shared disk/media file server. I connected a640G Western Digital My Book to the USB. I was able to see the drive in the asp interface of the router, but I kept getting the "error code: 0x80070035 network path not found" message. My computer is a 6 month old HP with Windows 7 running Bitdefender Internet. I found I could get to the drive from my wife's Toshiba (only used for browsing, so minimal security), so I thought it was a firewall issue (also what Cisco said). After doing some Internet mining, I found that the issue is the Netbios setting in IPv4. My PC had the setting Default, which requires the DHCP server to provide the setting and apparently this was not set by the 4200. Without Netbios the disk cannot be mapped. Changing this to NetBios "enabled" solved the problem. This can be reached by going into the Control panel:Network and Sharing Center. Click on the connection (either local area or wireless), then open the properties, click on the TCPv4, Click properties, then advanced. Go to the Win tab and select Netbios enabled.

However there is going to be a new site in Canada. I found some documentation saying that multiple country code is not available for mesh ap. Mesh ap are not going to join controller if multiple country code configured . but all this documentation is regarding version 7.2 and older. Im running version 7.4.100.0 and on configuration guide I don't find anything related to that.

Problem:Yesterday, I installed VMware Player and XP Mode to play a legacy game; also, some Automatic Windows Updates were applied.
After the Windows Update's all done, it prompted me to restart every 10 or 15 minutes, even after I chose Postpone 4 Hours every time. Probably one hour after, I closed VMware Player and restarted Windows.
Later, I found my Internet didn't work anymore.
Troubleshooting Attempts:I had already did the ip stack reset, removed VMware Player, restarted the wireless router, restarted WiFi, reenable WiFi adapter, reinstalled Wireless driver with latest driver, System Restore to the day before (System Restore said it didn't work, but Windows reboot said it has been restored), disabled the Internet sharing (I didn't turn it on, I guess some program like VMware did it), removed Stored Wireless Network Profiles and added later.Windows 7's network troubleshooting found no problem.
Current Situation:The home wireless network is working properly for sure, because both my phone and others' laptops connect to the same WiFi and work properly.I installed Ubuntu 12 on this same laptop and connected to same WiFi to go online.WiFi is shown to be connected and working. I can ping and connect to the wireless router (192.168.2.1), but unable to go to any website.

Dec 27, 2012I just bought this wireless router. I have 3 smartphones, kindle fire, 2 ipod touches and a laptop with win7 connected fine. But I have a laptop with vista that will connect local only with no internet. Went live chat with cisco and no result. I get the 82 code even after I try a quick key. It says "An HNAP call to the device failed because the HTTP connection was broken". I have resarted router and laptop. All other devices work fine and have no problem connecting on this router.
