Windows 7 Cannot Verify Digital Signature For Drivers Required For This Device
Feb 3, 2013
I had installed the aheros AR5B97 wireless network adapter in wondows 7, but it was not properly installed and the wireless service icon is not displayed in the network profiles.when i checked it in the device manager it showed a device status that:Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)
This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available.Plug and Play ID.When I test it says the adapter is working properly. I don't know if this matters but I am unable to get microsoft updates. I have 16 that continue trying to update but my computer will not allow.
I recently updated to Windows 8, and before updating, Windows 8 setup recognized the drivers for my Belkin G Desktop wireless card. After installation, my system was able to connect to my wi-fi network without any problem. However, due to the power going off at my home, an automatic update on Windows 8 got interrupted.
Since then, it has caused a ton of problems, which caused me to finally re-install Windows 8. Now, however, it does not recognize the wireless card and its drivers, and does not let me install from the CD, or through any alternate sources ?
we have two ASA5520-AIP40-K8 in our office and we purchase IPS service for one only, can we also update the signature of second device before purchasing additional IPS Services for second unit

I am deploying Cisco 5508 with Cisco 1602 Access Points at one of my client's office. User authentication will be done through Microsoft IAS Server working as RADIUS Server. There is a requirement from my client is that the user over wireless can only be able to login to One device using its user ID. I want to inquire if this can be done through WLC or it can be restricted on the RADIUS server? Looking forward for comments.
I have Dell Inspiron 5160 which recently had a HDD crashed. I installed a new HDD and installed OS Windows XP Home edition - I installed video drivers and chipset - Now I had no idea which drivers to installed so I installed the default listed Network drivers in the CD provided to me BUT I dont know somehow they are not visible -- ALL the network and other devices in the Device Manager have yellow Question mark along with ! and are saying Device drivers for this drivers not found - I have installed all sort of drivers from support.dell.com but still does not work.

I would like to ask whether SHA1 signature algorithm is available for FWSM. We use FWSM code version 3.2(22) in our production network where only MD5 signature algorithm is available. There is a need to upgrade to stronger algorithm SHA1. From my experience I know that this is possible on ASA firewalls running on 8.4. codes. Certificates generated on code 8.4. automatically use SHA1 with RSA Encryption.
Is it possible to have Signature algorithm SHA1 on FWSM? If so, in which code version?

one of our customers wants to update the firmware of a 5508 wlc, but always gets the following error message:
Error Message %UPDATE-3-INV_FILE_SIGN: Error! Invalid image signature!. Image may be corrupt.
but the same image works fine on another 5508.the update was downloaded via a smartnet for the wlc, on which the update works fine. does the customer has to download another image for the second controller, or should the image work on both wlc?
I had a Windows 7 automatic update last night. Went through the process and when it was done, everything was working fine. I did a proper shut down and went to bed. Woke up this morning, turned on my laptop and now I have NO network drivers. Tried a system restore prior to the "critical updates" and that didn't work either. So what the.
Windows 8 just released not long ago, and I am eager to upgrade my laptop to this version. From what I am understanding that Bluetooth is an issue along with Dell own drivers and configuration caused the upgrade delay. Dell will resolve and make drivers available to Windows 8.
I haven't been able to find any Windows 7 compatible drivers anywhere for the CB21AG card and there seems to be nothing on the Cisco site. These drivers required, when they might be released?
Where can I go and download free software for 802.11n technology for RTL8188CE drive/adapter 802.11 b/g/n? I need the full power of the n technology since the n technology in the adapter I have was in its preliminary developmental stages. I have a mini pc and operate with Windows 7.
I just recently upgraded my OS from Win XP 32 bit to Win 8 64 bit. I am trying to get everything in order and most of the drivers are now working (CCC for my graphics card, driver for my Striker). However, I am having difficulty locating the driver for 64 bit windows for my Linksys adapter.
For the moment I am running wifi by using my old XP setup (which is the only way I can post on [H]). :P
