Since I have static ip I cannot use the printer Brither Model.I have U verse system from At&t and I have gotten static IPs to be able to install an IPcamara and to access it from any point in the world. But since I have gotten the static IPs I had a problem with my printer, also the i phone,and I pad do not connect to internet but the windows lap tops are working fine with the wifi.

My Iphone doesnt recognize my printer (HP Photosmart D110a) when I try to print something from it by AIRPRINT. After updated my printers and routers firmwares, the problem continues. Ive been read a lot and seems that the problem is caused by a problem with IGMP or Multitasking protocol.... But I dont find these in my routers page even after updated my firmware.
have a home Sony VAIO Computer running XP Media Center Edition, Belkin Wireless N Router, HP B209 Wireless printer, 1 year old Lenovo laptop, and an iPhone 4s.I can't make them all play together.I noticed yesterday that my iPhone hadn't been connecting to the WiFi for several days, so I tried to see what might be going on. I tried to force pair the iPhone by turning off Data Connection, which usually forces the WiFi, which it did, but then when I went to a webpage it wouldn't load even though wifi was showing full signals.I then booted up my lenovo laptop, and it connected to the internet and worked like a charm. Then my iPhone4s started working again. Why not now finally set up the wireless aspects of my HP B209 that I've never used, so I can print from my laptop wirelessly, which I've always wanted to do.So I was able to setup the printer after adding the MAC address of the printer to my belkin router by going to the IP address for the router and adding that specific address, I changed NOTHING ELSE.Internet on laptop not working now. It shows my wireless network with full bars in range, but when I go to connect it simply says it cannot connect, right away. I check my phone, wireless GONE again! I tried to force pair the phone, no dice. I "forget the network" on my phone, it still shows available, I connect put in my password and it immediately denies me, I tried un-plugging the router, restarting all computers, un-plugging router -and- restaring all computers, turning off the printer, repeating all previous steps, and finally I went and deleted the MAC address I added to the router, and all of the above did nothing to fix the solution.

My son connected another router upstairs and then created a static IP for everything. It seems when he did that, our Brother 2170 wireless printer quit working. We've tried everything to get it going again and nothing works- even Brother didn't get it rectified. Earlier today, my son finally got it working, connected directly to the router to get the static IP on the printer (I guess). But when he disconnected it (hardwired) from the router, it won't work again

I have three locations and each location has static-ip's assigned to the local printers and i need to be able to print to them.Most laptops are either Windows XP PRO or Windows 7 Home Premium. 1. Via the Networking > LAN (Local Network) > Static DHCP I have no buttons to Add a new static Lease.
2. Via the Networking > LAN (Local Network) > DHCP Lease Clients I can thick a Lease and click on Make Static IP. The result is an error: Operation failed.

Examples of these devices are iPhones, iPads, Kindles, Droids, etc When a device is authenticated on our APMobile wireless network and downloads updates, email, or music our Network bandwidth is consumed. Services/Applications are no longer available, such as VoIP. Basically, this is an internal DoS.I have done some research and an example of this problem is an ARP Storm but currently clients obtain IP addresses form our DHCP server, which acts as a proxy for the clients and if effective against deliberate attempts to craft packets that create ARP Storm. In addition we configured the WLC to disable ARPunicast processing via the CLI.The following link is from Cisco's site. Now if I look in my router status screen 1&2 are correctly displayed but the 3rd entry is showing my ISP's DNS,
I use a tethered iPhone to access the Internet. We live outside of the DSL service area so this is really the only high speed internet connection I have available.Unfortunately the "wireless hotspot" feature of the phone isn't very consistent. I can get all of my computers to connect to my phone this way, but the connection is constantly dropping, and I'm always having to reboot the phone to get the computers to pick it up again. The most reliable way to use the tethering is to just plug the phone in to whichever computer I happen to be using. This does create a problem, though. If I want to print to the network computer or access a file off of one of the other computers I have to manually connect to the wireless router, because that's the only way the computers can talk to each other. In the meantime, though, I can't use the internet because my computer thinks it needs to try to connect to the internet through the wireless router, and when it can't find the internet that way it just tells me there's no connection. Nevermind that my phone is still plugged in, for some reason it doesn't want to use that connection if it can see the router.

As soon as the update and reboot were complete I could no longer connect to the wireless network using my iphone. I switched back to the secondary 1.8 software and could immediately reconnect my iphone to the network. Upgrading to 1.9(2) changes a setting or is flawed.

I open the router using "admin", reset Wireless Security and reset my password. Wireless laptops, wireless camera now works fine but now iPhone will not connect? when i go on my iphone and click on the wirless network i just set up, it does not ask me for a password. instead i get a screen titled "IP Address" with three buttons below (dhcp, bootp, and static) with a list of blanks for ip address, subnet mask, router, dns, etc. below that.

We are not running any RADIUS or EAP at the moment and are starting with WPA2 w/ AES with a pre-shared key to begin piloting. The issue we are having is iOS based devices (iPhone/iPad) do not seem to want to connect. We just get a could not join wireless network messages. We have had success with several Windows based laptops, my MacBook connects, as well as several different Android devices.Looking at the logs on the WLC I see these entries which correspond to the MAC address of my iPhone.

I have a SSID as WPA2(PSK).
The problem is, when an iPhone joins on the wireless, it only holds the connection for a short period of time, then reverts back to 3G.
I've already tried; disabling/re-enabling Aironet IE, Disabling/re-enabling Client Load Balancing, Disabling/Re-enabling Client Band Select, changing to G only, changing supported speeds up to 12Mbps and disabling lower ones.
I recently purchased an E4200, but I am experiencing slow/inconsistent performance and connection problems with iPhone 3G, 3GS and 4. The iPhones are running the latest firmware 4.3. The E4200 has also been updated to the latest firmware 1.0.01 build 10. I do not experience these problems with various laptops, and I did not experience them with a previous Cisco router WRT610N, nor with a D-link DIR825 in another location. The security is set to WPA2 Personal and all the other settings are the same from the prior router. If I disable the security, I do not experience the connection problems, but still experience the slow performance. If I switch back to the WRT610N, I do not experience any problems. this a E4200 firmware issue yet to be resolved?
