i cant get access to facebook from my server i download another browser that did not work, it keep saying that, well a matter of fact it don't load at all, it very slow when it click to start the page,. i did have facebook access about a week ago but i dont know hat happen why i cant access it here and said the client on the server can access facebook but i cant how is that possible?
View 1 RepliesSo i can't access my Facebook page i log on it fine at school & I used google chrome & safari, & internet explorer and every time i log on it says SSL Error & it also says that "you attempted to reach www.facebook.com, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as *.vkontakte.ru this may be cause by a misconfiguration on the server", idk what to do. I did everything, cleaned it for viruses and checked the proxy & everything.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI cannot access the desktop version of Facebook. Whenever I try it says that the connection has timed out. I can get on all other sites without any problems. I tried to figure out what was wrong. I went on Cmd and pinged facebook and it said the connection was timed out. So I did tracert and after the 8th hop it said connection timed out. I tried on 2 computers and a tablet and the same thing happens. When I turn off my router and computer and turn both back on then I can get on the site once with no problems.

After a few hours, the error page comes up stating that Google Chrome (my primary browser) can't load the page. A few weeks ago if I switched over to Internet Explorer, the sites would still be able to load. Now the sites don't load after these few hours in any of my browsers. I've done malware, spyware and antivirus scans and threats did come up, but now there are none and this keeps happening. I also did a DNS flush and it didn't work. I have done this by means of Website Filter and it works. However, some people have found a way by installing Digsby on their machine, tho they're not really able to go the facebook page, they are actually able to chat with their facebook buddies. Never had an issue before up until now.
I've been using my WRT310Nv2 Cisco wireless Gigabit N router for 2 weeks now, and sometimes, it's blocking access to Facebook.comI am not aware if it does the same thing with other websites, but my guess is that if I fix this one, I'll fix them all. So here I go, I click on my Facebook icon in my bookmarks and all goes well. On E4200 Firmware Version: 1.0.03, I managed to successfully set up "Internet Access Policy" (not the "Parental Controls") to set up the times when internet access is disabled for various IPs on my network.
But I could't setup a policy to block facebook.com. What I am doing wrong? See the attached screen shot. I did click the "Edit List" and apply this polity to the IP Address Range 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.254.
I purchased the EA6500 a few days ago, and when I'm connected to Cisco Connect Cloud I am unable to select Folder Access / FTP Server / Media Server. I click them and nothing happens.Also, the Cisco light on the router keeps blinking.

Whenever I try to get in the webpage I get a time out error message, on any browser (Chrome, Firefox, IE). I can reach every other website completely normal, and I can even connect to alternate forms of Facebook like m.facebook.com or beta.facebook.com, and the local site (I speak spanish) es-es.facebook.com allows me to see the login screen, but when accessing to anything else, it redirects me to the url...version, thus resulting in a time out. This problem started suddenly, after using this notebook with no trouble for more than a year .I should mention that this happens only in this machine, as there are others connected to the same network, and that I've tested this one in more than one network, from different ISP, by wi-fi and Ethernet cable, everything giving me same results.
- Tried different browsers.
- Two different networks and ISP, both by cable and wi-fi.
- ping'ed and tracert'ed facebook.com.
- Updated, uninstalled, reinstalled, practically anihilated and resucitated both wired and wireless NIC drivers.
- Made a complete system restoration to a week before this started.
- Changed MAC Address from both wired and wireless NICs.
- Completely turned off every firewall.
- Tried Google Public DNS for both IPv4 and iPv6.
- Ran antivirus.
Cannot Launch www.facebook.com it say " Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.facebook.com "

Whoever posted these pictures has stolen the identity of a guy that I went to school with. The Police are involved. I tried contacting Facebook multiple times, but I had no such luck.
