Yesterday I was on my toshiba satelite L550-OCD and the wireless wasn't working then it started working again. I closed my laptop and when I went back to it it wasn't working again and hasn't since. It says there's no wireless connection to plug in Ethernet cable now I have tried Fn F8 and it doesn't do anything. So I went into my toshiba assist and opened optimize. Then toshiba hardware settings and clicked LAN and it says it's turned on. But when I click radar it shows it is not connected and the light is off.
I have a Toshiba laptop (p-750) and a new TP-link TL-WR1043ND router. The router works fine with my smartphone and Sony PlayStation but my laptop is getting disconnected all the time.
I have followed most similar youtube instructions to turn my Toshiba Laptop into a hotspot (router). It seems to show the SSID I made as OK in the network but no WiFi appliance can find it. I am using USB Wireless Broadband Internet .
We have Wireless connection facility in our collage. All my friends can access to wireless but I cannot. How to connect to wi fi in my laptop.I tried to power on the wireless by pressing FN+F8 together but at network connection it displays as No connection is available.Secondly I checked the device manager and under Network adapters there is only three driver Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network), Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TSI) and Realtek PCIe FE Family Controlleer are working.I also checked the driver of this PC and found one folder named WLAN_B and even did the setup but still not working. I am using windows 7 Professional and 64 bit of OS.
I do not have access to internet (I'm on some unsecured internet from around here now, very slow). When I start the internetdiagnostics from windows, he says it's the modem or the connection from laptop, router, modem to internet. However, the lights indicating internet and dsl on the modem are brightly burning and the router shows nothing abnormal too.
I have a WPA2-PSK security, the modem is Zyxel. Also, the ethernetcable portal on my laptop is broken, so I can't do anything non-wireless. My phone has the same problem with this internet, it can get a connection, but no internet.
I have an Acer aspire one netbook, model D255 which operates on Windows 7.Having trouble connecting to wifi connections. It worked fine initially, I tried turning the wifi switch on and off, it tells me that there are no wifi connections available, however everyone else Is able to connect via Wifi on their computers and myself without a problem on other devices. On troubleshooting it's says - that an Ethernet cable is broken or not plugged in properly, and is unable to fix the problem, as obviously I am not connected via any cable.I looked in network and it says that the Ethernet cable is unplugged and does not show any available networks.
How do I find my network security key? I had to remove my Toshiba Laptop (Win 7 OS) from my home network because I kept having to troubleshoot in order to connect to the network. Then the troubleshooter would tell me that I had a cable unplugged (not true) and it had to reconfigure my wireless adapter every time. I am trying to get the laptop back in the network but I keep getting the message that the security key is mismatched. The one I have worked the first time, but not now.My wireless adapter for the laptop is Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC and when I check its properties the message is that this device is working properly.
I'm running Win 7, 64 bit on a Toshiba X505.My internal card no longer sees any networks (Realtek RTL8191se) even though DevMgr says it's running with current drivers which I've updated.I bought and installed a USB wireless dongle with the same results. My Ethernet connection works fine.IPCONFIG doesn't seem to recognize the card.I have a good strong signal and the Trendnet dongle works well on another machine.
I have a Toshiba Laptop (M5) that will not connect to the internet. It was infected with something that I cleaned with Superantispyware but it will now not connect to the internet. It shows that it is connected both by wireless and wired but when I open Internet Explorer it cannot find the webpage. It is trying to open my homepage (www.google.co.uk).
i think someone took my laptop i can not know unless i can track it i have all the info on the laptop i still hae the box but i desperatly need to know where, basically someone has it and is telling me it is mine but will not let me see it.
I have 2 laptop, a Toshiba and a MSi, both wirelessly connected to a Zyxel router. The toshiba laptop worked just fine for me, never disconnect, but the MSi started to act up since I got this router. Sometimes it disconnect from the router every 5 mins, it can still detect the network, but then I have to troubleshoot it to reset the adapter if I want to reconnect it. The problem I got from the troubleshoot is " Problems with adapter or access point". Before I bought this router for the current cable service, I had a DSL service, my laptops can connect wirelessly to the DSL modem, without router and they worked just fine, so I don't know if the problem is from the router or the laptop.I searched for solutions everywhere on the internet, yet they are the same : update firmware, drivers,.I even reinstalled windows so many times yet it remains the same.
Cannot access wireless w/ my Toshiba Laptop-it is a Satellite L305 purchased 2 years ago. I am staying with some friends for the summer in a rural area-they no longer have Internet service ( Comcast modem is still in basement--are NOT going to reactivate service). The closest WiFi spot is a mile walk away ( Library at a State College). Every day all I get is frustrated as I try and try to access any wireless networks--Linksys is what keeps coming up--but says I am too far away from access point. The "local computer whiz" told me to purchase a Wireless Card-which I will gladly do IF it will enable me to access wireless networks from home. What, if anything, I can do or purchase to enable me to access wireless from my "rural home"?
I recently moved and my Toshiba Satellite laptop won't talk to my NetGear router. On the phone with NetGear for hours - tried everything - but tech says the problem is with the laptop and somehow the "Wireless Zero Configuration" tab in my Services is not there? I can connect through the router with my IPOD and Dell laptop.
Toshiba laptop has been connecting fine to internet but now its not, i have wired it up to router and all im getting is local access my other laptop is working fine.
I just got a new Toshiba Satellite C855D-S5357. It's running Windows 8. I can't get it to connect to my home wifi--it just says "Can't connect to this network" and nothing else. I did unplug and plug back in the router (does that count as resetting?) and it didn't change anything. I just went to the library and it connected to that wifi without a problem. While there I uninstalled all Norton security products and installed AVG Free 2013. Still not working.

I have a Toshiba Satellite M70-122, running with Windows XP. A few weeks ago, it stopped connecting to my wireless, but it connects to others. I can connect to my wireless with my cellphone, so it might be a problem with the laptop. And I can connect to the internet with the cable. It's just the wireless that doesn't work.
The problem is I cannot get wife's laptop to connect to router. i had to reset router due to some connectivity problem. I reset router, set the router's name to wife's laptop, created a password. when i log on to wife's laptop, i can see the connection but when i click connect i get nic card disabled. i checked the card and it is not showing as being disabled. i am conncected via my desktop to the router and i connect fine. laptop is toshiba w/ win 7 home 64 bit. i have tried several ways to connect but still get network cable disconnected.
My daughter has a Tobisha laptop with Windows 7 working off a cable modem wireless thru a Linksys Cisco router. It all has been working fine for months until yesterday she cannot connect to router. I unplugged router and modem for a minute, replugged modem then router back in and laptop still will not connect to router. I can connect to internet if don't use router and connect from modem to laptop. I do not think anything is wrong with her router or any plug-in connections because I have no problem connecting to her router with my own laptop or my wifes laptop! I have a Dell ( VISTA ) and a Dell ( XP ). I'm thinking maybe wirless card in my daughter's Tobisha could be the problem?
I can not hold a wireless connection because it keeps telling me that there is a problem with the gateway, i just spoke to toshiba support who have said my wireless has been corrupted internally by viruses.
My wireless decided to disconnect and reconnect randomly throughout any time I use it. Thought it maybe the the router so bought a new one Netgear and its was fine for the first 48 hours and now its keeps doing the same again. Its fine if I plug in the ethernet cable so no the modem and router are fine. Not sure what it is, my Toshiba laptop is probably about 5 years old - is it time for a new one? Is it something simple or what?
Computer doesn't load certain sites its a new toshiba ,i want to get to the bruno mars fan site it will not come up ,but did on my old hp laptop ,which is being repaired what can i do ?
How to get my computer to work. Nothing that i've tried has worked. I've tried uninstalling Norton, typing cmd into "run" and using winsock and config/all. At this point I have no more ideas on what to do.
I have recently bought a second hand toshiba tecra laptop, i am trying to connect it to my netgear router. There is currently only one other laptop connect to this router and yet it will not let me connect to it. I have matched all the setting from the current laptop to the one i am trying to connect however it still will not even pick up a signal. I have phoned my network provider and they couldnt manage to find out the problem. When i try to search for wireless network connections there are none found even though the wifi button is on?
I have a toshiba windows 7 laptop that will not connect to the internet. I have a linksys E 1500 wireless router that has been working fine till today. It says I have great connection but won't open any webpages. I tried hooking it manually to an ethernet cable and it still will not connect.

Running Windows 7 on a Toshiba Satellite laptop. Had BSECURE web filter on computer last couple years but decided it cost too much. Uninstalled the program and now none of the web browsers will connect to internet (have IE, Chrome, and Firefox).I shut down Avast and Windows Firewall, but had no effect. Checked each browsers settings and all seems normal. The computer detects the wireless connection just fine.
My Toshiba Qosmio f60 keeps disconnecting from my router. The only way to fix this is to restart my pc which is a huge pain cause my laptop starts up at the speed of snail.
I just got my router a few weeks ago. It's the Netgear r6300 802.11ac, which supposedly has insane speed and great range, although my speed hasn't changed at all and i disconnect more often than with my old router.
When my laptop disconnects my iphone still remains connected to WiFi, even though it's the same distance away from the router, also no other computer in the house has these problems, though they are a floor above me (routers on the top floor).
I think my wireless card is the Realtek rtl8191se wireless lan 802.11n pci-e nic.
