I have the above mentioned server and I am new to servers been building my own rigs for years. New project is to get a rack going.
Things wrong that need to be fixed.
1. Installed ClearOs and Zentyal installed fine but when it goes to boot I get a black blinking cursor screen.
2.How to update the bios and harddrive firmware?
3.Im in need of a way to view this box over the network and be able to turn it off and on
I would like to connect a DL380Gen8 to a Cisco 3750X using 10G.
On HP side, i have a Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 530FLR-SFP+ Adapter (without any SFP) and a WS-C3750X-48PF-S + a C3KX-NM-10G= module (without SFP).
What kind of cable and/or SFP are suitable to connect everything together ?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm checking a mini laptop for a friend and found out that the wireless does not work on it. First I tried checking the button to activate it and it didn't work, even if the indicador says it's off/on it doesn't have an effect on the network adapter. The PC is running Windows 7 32-bit. I downloaded the Ralink 2011 802.11 b/g/n WiFi Adapter driver and tried reinstalling it. Funny thing is that the installation went smoothly but in the driver details the name of the driver shows the default Windows one, 3.0.0.14 I beleive. Tried again to install the driver since I thought it was a bad download or something but the same results. I've tried with the Atheros driver but the installer said that since the card is not present no drivers would be installed, so I assume that the model is the Ralink. So far the network card appears disabled on the network adapter window, and if I try to enable it, it remains disabled.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Compag Netbook (running Windows XP Home Edition) which will not connect to the internet, however the wireless icon in the tray is telling me that the signal strength is good and that i am connected but i cannot access any webpage. I know it is probably not the modem as we have another netbook in the house which connects no problem, as does our laptop so i'm figuring its something to do with the Compaq netbook??

It has stopped connecting to the internet although it will connect to my wireless network. The internet works and all other devices (my tablet, my phone, daughter's laptop, etc) all connect. My cable modem is connected straight to the computer by ethernet wire. It happened before and I unistalled the Vista update and it was fine. I can't see what the problem is this time cause my Event log won't come up saying that the Snapin for the MMC isn't properly loading. I am able to see alerts but there wasn't any on that date. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an HP Compaq nc6220 that I just got up and running after an extended stint as a paperweight.It had previously worked great in terms of connecting to the internet via wireless.Now nothing.It let's me go into Wireless Network Setup Wizard and offers to let me set up new networks, etc...But as far as I can tell, it isn't detecting any networks (though they are all around me and detected on other computers) and giving me the option to log in.There is no "Device Manager" option that I can find on this computer, which some forum posts have suggested to other people with similar problems.

My iPad and laptop connect with no problem at all but his mother's computer, the Compaq, won't connect to the internet unless it's directly connected to the router/modem.
