Cisco Switches :: SF300-24P To Get Latest Release Firmware
Mar 24, 2013
I have a SF300-24P switch running version 1.1.2.0 firmware. I want to get to the latest release (1.2.9.44) - can I upgrade directly to the latest code or do I need to step through all the versions in between?
We have Sg-300-28 serious switches(SRW-2024 k9-EU) and i want to upgrade switch with latest firmware, any info for latest firmware is used for the same ?
I have two 3750x stacked switches , both with the latest firmware on them. I enter the configuration onto one switch and it obviously copies over onto the other switch. Although in the configuration I have both a console username and password and an enable password, when I try to log onto the initial switch that I entered the configuration on, I am prompted for a username and password, which works fine, but when I try to enter enable mode i get an error stating that no password has been set. However when logging onto the other switch I am not prompted for a username or password but when I try to enter enable mode I am prompted for a password and can access it with no problems.
I bought the DIR-615 router from Futureshop awhile ago because my Linksys WRT54G router keeps dropping connection every couple of hours. I have to unplug the router and re-plug it in order for it work again. On the DIR-615 admin page, it states Firmware Version: 5.10. Is this the latest firmware?
I'm trying to upgrade the firmware because I still experience connection drops from time to time (but not as much as I did with WRT54G)... it usually occurs when multiple devices are pulling signal from the router (for ex. PC#1 + PC#2 + laptop). I've just disabled "Short GI" as mentioned in another forum post here.
now we have 2 switches: SF300-24..on one SF300-24 we config it at layer 3 mode with VLAN configuration same as following [code] And we use port 26 on 2 switches SF300-24 is trunk mode then we connect both SF300-24 switches. But on SF300-24 layer 2 cann't inderstand VLAN from Sf300-24 layer 3..How to config VLAN on 2 switches SF300-24 Layer 3 and SF300-24 layer 2?
I'm setting up an SNMP poller to retrieve the ARP table (ipNetToMediaPhysAddress) from my SF300 switches. I can retrieve the table from SF300-24P and SF300-48P switches running Firmware Version 1.0.0.27, but get garbage for the MAC address when retrieving that same table on the same model switches running Firmware Version 1.1.1.8. Is there an outstanding defect on this code level? How can I retrieve the table showing the IP address to MAC address mappings?
what is the latest firmware version for d-link dir-825? It tell me that i currently got the 2.60VT, is it the last one? If no, where can i download and how the latest version?
I need to get the latest firmware for a 2811 router but I am unable to download it. What is the best way to get hold of this can I just contact a local Cisco reseller n Monday or is it more complicated than that?
Where the list of changes for the latest firmware version can be found? My new DIR-655 has firmware from May 2010, and I see the latest and greatest on the DLINK website is from September. But it doesn't state what the changes are, so I'm not sure if I should upgrade or not.
I've been lagging really bad when my sister uses the laptop upstairs with wireless connection. Just 1 computer makes me have up to 100 ping, imagine 3. How can configure my settings so that i will stop lagging or configure so that i have priority.I have a Dlink 655 Version A4 with the latest firmware 1.35
What is the latest firmware version for the F9K1109? I found a link to the 1.10.16 code and downloaded it upgraded the firmware but the website seems to indicate 1.00.49 is the latest.
Can I use firmware for switch Cisco SF300-08 on switch Linksys SRW208? I need to connect IP Phones and propagate voice vlan over CDP or LLDP, that's why I would like to use firmware "Sx300_FW-1.1.1.8.ros".
I have WRT300N V1.0 with Firmware v1.03.6.what is latest Firmware for WRT300N V1.0 and where I can get it.I tried at Downloads under Support in Cisco website but it said "No firmware/driver download available".
I have a WRT54GS v1 router which is currently loaded with firmware version 2.07.1. I want to upgrade it with the latest firmware. Where I can find the latest firmware download for this model router? Linksys does not have it available on their site.
Can't download newest firmware for F9K1102/N600 DB Router. I am on 1.00.19 and there are two newer firmwares, the latest being 3.03.12. This firmware is suppose to allow support for Windows 8. All my computers now have Windows 8 so I want this firmware, but I can't download it because the link provided by belkin no longer exists
Just purchased a Belkin AC1200 Router Modem and unable to locate the model number what is the current firmware version It is the UK model and I guess it must be very new?
I have a linksys router(befsr41 v3) with the latest firmware(1.05.00) - i have been using it for at least 7 or 8 years now - at one time i had 3 computers hooked up and they all three worked fine. Now i have 2 plugged into the router - both are xppro machines - the one i am on now works with no problems. The other computer however has the limited or no connectivity problem.I used this router for years without any problems then one day this ip conflict message started to appear.
I started getting this ip conflict message on both computers but only occasionaly - it never caused any problems - if you ignored it - it would simply go away. Then one day computer #2 got the limited or no connectivity message - i simple reboot fixed it. This solution worked several times. Computer #1 has never had any problems with the internet connection.Sometime later the limited or no connectivity problem reappeared and this time a reboot did not work - i searched for a fix and decided to try changing the link speed from auto sense to 10mb half duplex - this solved the problem. This solution worked several times.
Sometime after that the limited or no connectivity reappeared and after some searching i upgraded the routers firmware - this solved the problem.Sometime later the limited or no connectivity reappeared and this time i had to actually uninstall the NIC, reboot and then let it redetect the NIC and then the problem was fixed. This solution worked several times.Sometime later (wich brings us to 3 or 4 months ago) the limited or no connectivity reappeared and this time after searching for a fix i was able to fix it by updating the NIC drivers. Problem solved.
This brings us to now - the limited or no connectivity has reappeared and none of the previous fixes correct the problem. When i originally set everything up it worked immediately out of the box.DHCP is enabled - everything is set to obtain an ip address automatically. At first the event viewer on computer #2 reported The IP address lease 192.168.1.100 for the Network Card with network address 0xxxxxxxxx has been denied by the DHCP server 192.168.1.1. {The DHCP Server sent a DHCPNACK message}.
Now the even viewer just tells me it is using ip address 169.254.xxxxxx
I have tried all of the previous fixes to no avail. I've tried shutting everything off and turning everything back on - i've tried resetting both the modem and the router - i've tried upgrading the firmware again. I even downloaded LELA and installed it on both computers thinking maybe it would detect and fix the problem buy no such luck. LELA simply tells me that computer #1 is working normally. On computer #2 when i installed LELA the first thing it did was try to find the router and it tells me it cannot find it. I tried uninstalling the NIC and removing the drivers, rebooting and then reinstalling them. No luck.
I tried setting a static ip on computer #2 with no luck. When i did these two error messages appeared in the event viewer of computer #1---
The master browser has received a server announcement from the computer (computer #2) that believes that it is the master browser for the domain on transport NetBT_Tcpip_{0876E9A8-C6E. The master browser is stopping or an election is being forced.
The name "MSHOME:1d" could not be registered on the Interface with IP address 192.168.1.100. The machine with the IP address 192.168.1.20 did not allow the name to be claimed by this machine.
If I ping the router from computer #2 it comes back 100% loss.
If I ping the NIC it comes back 0% loss.
I might also add that I can see both computer #1 and #2 in my home network workgroup on both computers. I've tried ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew - I've tried it one after the other and also a reboot in between. I've tried clicking on repair in the LAN status - I've tried resetting the ip stack with the netsh command - I've even tried different cables and switching ports on the router.
I'm running a D-Link DIR-655 Hardware Version A3, Firmware Version 1.21. In the past, it has been flaky, and I considered updating to the latest firmware (1.3+ something), but everywhere I read (mainly this forum) said it might be WORSE for the router and couldn't even be downgraded, so I decided to ride it out.
Eventually the problem disappeared and I forgot about it, but now it's back with a vengeance. Recently I opened up a Guest Zone so my neighbors could borrow wifi, and I occasionally run torrents. Torrenting seems to definitely crash the router overnight, while it also seems to randomly bug out, possibly when the neighbors are using the Guest Zone. The Guest Zone might be responsible, but I have no idea.
For what it's worth, I don't think my neighbors are terribly tech-savvy, so I doubt they're filesharing or doing anything risky. They might have malware installed, but I don't know.
Is there a way I can diagnosis my precise issue, should I go ahead and update to the latest firmware to try?
I've been having some issues with my DIR-825, it's been intermittently dropping internet connection. This is across multiple OS (Win 7, Ps3 OS, iOS, etc.
Cannot connect network radios after upgrading to latest firmware. Could connect before upgrading firmware but throughput was slow for computers and streaming. Now I can connect computers, but not radios. They connect ok using Belkin and Linksys routers.
I am going to this page: [URL] but I can see nothing regarding firmware. The "Download software" link takes me to a page that has QVPN, TFTP utilities, etc, but no firmware.
I have a DCS-942L. Everything was working fine on my setup until I upgraded the firmware the other day. In the mydlink.com website when I logged in that day, it stated a firmware upgraded was needed. So I clicked on upgrade, let it run its thing and then tried to view the playback and now the thumbnails are just black and when I click on one, it looks like it is loading but then shows the quicktime icon with a question mark over it. I upgraded my Quicktime component and that didn't fix it either. So I went into advanced settings, downloaded the new firmware upgrade from there by saving the zip file and uploading it via the advanced settings website, and still nothing. I have another camera, same setup, that I have not upgraded firmware on yet and that playback is working fine.
With firmware version 1.31, the Wireless settings page is blank when a browser other than Internet Explorer is used to access it - for instance, Firefox or Chrome. All other pages appear and seem to work properly, only the Wireless settings page is empty. Luckily, the Wizard still works and can be used to set the Wireless settings for general purpose use. Older versions of the firmware worked fine with other browsers, including the Wireless settings page.
what is latest firmware version is for router WRT 160n (v1). The Linksys site currently states that it is Ver.1.02.11 (11/08/10). However, on the admin page for my actual router it states v1.52.0 Nov 16, 2007. These versions #s and dates don't jive. How could I have a supposedly newer version that is older than the most recent one posted?
I still don't think the IOT Cable Modem fix did the trick because the EA6500 seems more unstable then it was before.... now every few hours it loses sync with my cable modem and I have to reboot the router for it to function normally.
I just have an old Dlink DIR-615 Wireless router. I have some problems with it and need to improve it... So, what is the best option... buy a new DIR-636L or 657 router or install the latest ddwrt firmware on the existing one?
Region : NewZealand Model : TD-W8960N Hardware Version : V3 Firmware Version : 1.4.0 Build 111130 Rel.56405n ISP : Snap
I just bought a v3 TD-W8960N and I'm trying to see what is the latest firmware available? On the modem it came with 1.4.0 Build 111130 Rel.56405n.When I look on the website the listed latest version is w8960nv1_un_1_4_0_111108R40398.up (that is the file inside the zip package/link TD-W8960N_V1_V3_111108)Which is the newer version? The revision number on the firmware that came installed kind of looks like it is actually newer. But if it is newer, why is not available for download from TP-Link?
