Cisco Switches :: SRW248G4 V1.1 Unable To Reset Password

I have been fighting against this Lynksys cisco switch to be able to restore admin password, no success. Theorically, is just unplug and plug switch, press ESC and press option 3) Password Recovery Procedure. Then Enter and Enter and switch will boot normaly with admin/blank password, well, not work,.

We are using Linksys SRW248G4 in our network as Layer 2 Device. We have configured QoS policy for Voice and Video Priority over Data. On Layer 3 we are using CISCO SGE 2000, on that we have also configured QoS Policy and that is working, if we are connecting two IP Phones on L3 Switch but when we are connecting IP Phones on L2 Linksys we are not getting Voice and Video quality over Data.P2P link is of 10MB.I am Putting Whole configuration of that switch in TEXT FILE. I can't figure out how to configure a port membership with multiple VLANs. My setup:
- VLAN10
- VLAN20
- port settings tab: port24 in general mode
- ports to VLANs tab: untagged everywhere, when I set port 24 membership to VLAN10 I can't set port 24 membership in VLAN20 because when I do that port 24 membership in VLAN10 dissapears and vice versa
- but I can set port 24 membership to both VLANs in VLANs to port tab, but I think it doesn't work because:
- when I connect hosts to ports 23 (port 23 is a member of VLAN10 only) and 24 (member of VLAN10 and VLAN20)
there are not any connectivity between them
- but connectivity is working when I set the same PVID for both ports 23 and 24 in port setting tab, I can't set multiple PVID in here.
So, is it possible to configure port membership for multiple VLANs on this linksys. [URL]

I want to configure my SRW248G4 switch thru console port. Unfortunately in this switch there is no RJ45 console port input, I can only see cosole port that is look like RS232 input. I bought two standard cisco console cables that have one end with db9 and one with RJ45.
Now I have and idea to put one end of one cable (db9) to switch, and one end (db9) of second cable in my computer (COM input/output)
I need to connect two RJ45 together - this is not a problem, I know how to do this. Here is the question :I know how pinout in my computer look like but i can't find pinout of console port in my SRW248G4. There is many pictures in Internet, for many Cisco devices but this isn't working. Maybe in LINKSYS pinout look different ?

I have been asked to do a network survey at a client. They are using the Cisco SGE2000 switch, which is new to me (used to working with 3750 switches). They seem to have lost the username/pasword for one the switches. Is there an way to recover from this, without reseting the whol config (not sure they even have a backup) ..

Cisco 7609 Router, Enable password unable to reset.
Many times CTRL+BREAK Key combination while booting the router does not takes the console to ROMMON.
Router boots using the IOS image in the bootdisk0: (For entering into the ROMMON, removed both the external Flash disks also - no use)
2 or three time in a day it enters in to the ROMMON while pressing CTRL+BREAK.
Tried in the ROMMON (one Sup is removed) with confreg 0x2142 followed by reset/boot commands, the router is booting with the startup config.

I have just moved and my ISP is the same ( Comcast) but I'm in a different region of the country. The former service (modem) was a cisco (1 port) that I connected my EA 2700 Cisco router to and it worked like a charm. My IP phones came right up as well. Now I have an modem/router combo (provided by my ISP) and when ever I attempt to connect to my VPN it will give me an error and not connect. I was told by my ISP that I could bridge the router and try that way.Do I need to set up all over again? or have the settings remained. Also I am unable to access my router with admin/password. How do I reset the password?

I'm very new to WCS and the bloke that configured the bludger has left the company. I'm trying to get into it but I don't have the correct username/password combination.
My query is: How does one do a password reset on a WCS server? Or failing that, is there a way I can ascertain the current unknown password?
I have access to the actual server itself, but not the WCS application. Searching around Cisco.com shows that apparently there is a utility that can be used to reset usernames and passwords however I can't seem to find it. The WCS version is: 4.2.62.11

I bought a new connection with this router, and the first time i tried to access it it had the default <blank> username and password it, so i changed it. But now i really don't remember what it could be. I tried to reset the router, but it still didn't clear the password. I tried to contact my ISP, and they said they can't access my router remotely, i had to reset it myself. I've tried to reset it many times (holding down the reset button for 10-100 seconds), but by PASSWORD won't be reset.
How can i reset it? Is there perhaps any other reset trick for it?

I have an old VPN 3000 Concentrator that I do not have any idea what is running on it. The previous network admin didn't leave a password for it, so I tried to reset the password. I was successful in doing so, but when I try to access it with the default of admin/admin via web browser, I still cannot access it. I am loathe to remove or power off this device without knowing what is on it.

I have a WBR-1310 D-link and was in setup this morning trying to fix my password cause the old one stopped working. Somehow I changed the password and no longer have access to the settings to change it to one that I can use to log on with my other wireless devices!!! Is there a way I can reset the whole thing? I would like to give selected friends and family access through Wi-fi to our home network (Vista windows) however I cannot or do not have the network security id written down anywhere and it is blocked from my viewing when I go to the Control Panel, Network Security page "Network Security Key".
