Recently purchased the EA3500 router. Everything seems to work great except for Facebook on mobile devices with Android OS using both apps and browser. I can access FB using a laptop's browser.

Setup: I have a very simple setup and basic goal. I currently just have one laptop on E0/1 of my ASA5505 and then the ASA configured with a static IP plugged to the Internet. I have the ASA correctly configured and can browse the web through the laptop. I also have the AnyConnect and AnyConnect Mobile licenses as well.
Goal: I want to set up AnyConnect on the ASA5505 and just establish a successful connection from an android mobile device running the necessary AnyConnect software from the market.
There are lots of guides for specifc set ups, but as described, I want to keep this as simple as possible.

I want to run Anyconnect on IPAD- and IPHONE-devices but it seems that this requires a Mobile-license on top of the premium-license. Is it possible to receive an evaluation-license for this? View 3 Replies View RelatedRecently, I have configured a small Wireless Network with Cisco 2500 WLC (25 AP License) running version 7.3.101.0 ,Total 15 APs were installed and associated with the Controller successfully.I have configured WLAN with WPA2-PSK.
I came across a strage issue, where all Android devices can't access Internet via Wireless.When I checked the Controller log, the Android devices (Phones, Tablets) are successfully authenticated and associated to the Wireless Network (They got the IP Address from the DHCP Server configured on the Switch) but they can't access internet.
There is no issue with Apple devices (IPhones, IPADs) and Wireless Laptops. Even the Apple devices and laptops getting IP Assigned from the Same DHCP pool configured on the Switch.
Any issue connecting just Android devices? All other devices connect fine.
Is there any limitation/configuration on the WLC which restricts the Internet Access only to the Android devices?

When I run the AnyConnect install on my desktop machine I have click through a few windows to accept the certificate. When I connect through the mobile client on Android, the connection goes right through without a prompt to import/choose/download a certificate. I'm able to connect but I'm wondering if the phone has actually recieved a certificate. I'm in the 'Advanced Connection Editor' screen and the certificate setting says "Automatic".
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded to the e4200 v2 and I seem to be having connection issues with my android phone and tablet. Both are 802.11n compatable but they seem to have issues staying connected. Just so everyone is up to speed, there are two connections made by android, a general one to the internet, and a second one to the google servers (for syncing e-mail and contacts and the like) When just connected to the internet, the wireless icons are gray, when connected to the google servers as well, the icons turn blue. It's the drop in connection to the google servers that I'm having an issue with. I currently have the router set in full auto for channel and frequency band, but I've also tried setting specific ones thinking maybe the change in channel or something was causing the disconnect. The disconnect will even happen when I'm sitting right next to the router. The phone is a Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Verizon LTE) running Android 4.0.3 and a Asus Transformer tablet (Wifi only) running android 3.2.1.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSetup my DCS-930L for DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name Server) so I can access the DCS-930L via the Internet (couldn't access the camera half the the time while on vacation using mydlink) and can now access the camera using my laptop, Android Thrive, and Motorola Droid 3 via the URL I've created but can only see the video when using the laptop.
I have the DCS-930L set to Java but when I log into the camera with the Thrive or Droid 3 (both Android devices) I don't get video. I can make changes to the camera settings and everything else you can do when logged into the camera but just can't see the video. If I change the 'View Mode' in the video setup to 'Image', I will get a picture on all three devices (Thrive, Droid 3, and laptop).
What do I need on the Droid 3 & Thrive so I can see the video when I log into the DCS-930L with an Android device?
Updated firmware was installed and settings were reviewed. Intermittently the E1500 looses its ability to connect only to our Android devices and "Cisco Connect" displays that it has lost Internet connectivity. The PC hard-wired to the E1500 and another PC connected wirelessly both work fine when this happens, despite the Cisco Connect message. The Android devices show the presence of the network, but they never "connect" - find the IP address. The problem can only be resolved by re-booting (powering off/on) the E1500. The loss of connectivity to our two Android devices and the Cisco Connect error display always are concurrent. E1500 looses connection to Android devices
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a Belkin Wireless N1 router and it works great with my laptops and desktop computers.But! Whenever I connect up my iPad 2, mobile phone (Nexus S) or any other mobile phone, Apple TV or PS3 - the internet works and then after about 10-15 minutes (maybe more, maybe less) the internet cuts out and I can't connect on any device. The PS3 works great when hooked up through ethernet, but wirelessly the connection doesn't last very long at all. Both my parents and brother have an android based smartphone and when at home they'd like to use our WiFi instead of their mobile data - and when it comes to online gaming on the PS3, I don't want to have to trail an ethernet cable all the way to my PS3 set-up. I have full signal strength throughout the house so range isn't an issue - I've also tried connection up whilst next to the router and the connection still cuts out. To resolve this I have to pull the power cable and re-boot the router.
I have cable broadband and the modem still indicates that I have a connection, and when the internet is cut from the modem the router shows a message saying that "No internet connection can be found". The screen still indicates that it still has an internet connection but it just isn't broadcasting it...I've altered the broadcast channels but this hasn't done anything. I can connect up to my friends Belkin ADSL Wireless router with no problems and it doesn't cut out. He has his PS3 connected wirelessly too and it's all good...
I'm having an issue with intermediate certificates from GoDaddy when connecting from some browsers of mobile devices:Browser in Android 2.3.3;Safari in iOS 4.2.1;Chrome 18 in Android 4.0.In a PC there's no problem, only from the above mobile devices. The intermediate certificate isn't downloaded from the ACE 4710 resulting in a "SSL Certificate Not Trusted" error.Since GoDaddy has no instructions to resolve the issue from a Cisco ACE.

1. 3502i AP
2. WLC 5508 SW 7.0.98
3. NGS
The i-devices have iOS v4.2
My goal is to have the guest user i-devices maintain the credentials (username and password) when they login again to the wireless network. Like if the device sleep, I think definitely they would loose those IP address issued by the DHCP. Once the guest user uses them again and connect them to the wireless network the user would not need to type-in those credentials on the Web Authentication page directed by the WLC.
The credentials are issued by the sponsor who created them on the NGS. It seems that there are WiFi problems with these i-devices. But somehow, I'm looking for a solution that would automated the logins like a checkbox if you want to be kept signed in, on Yahoo or Stay signed in for GMail.
I want to setup remote access for my Android phones and tablets using Cisco ASA 5510 . Is there any particular Android client which perform the specified functionality.

I managed to get my wifi up and running on my mobile device using Connectify but the only the sites which are accesible through wifi are the ones that are accesible through the university firewall. Anyway i can extend the SSH proxy to the mobile device via the Laptop?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Cisco ASA 5510 (with an AnyConnect Mobile License enabled) I used to be able to connect to the VPN using the AnyConnect app for Android form the Google App store (the phone is a Samsung Galaxy S II LTE, if that matters). Like I said everything used to work fine until a few weeks ago, the only change I made to the router was giving it a different external IP address (I changed ISP), I'm pretty sure it worked after that. But now when I try to connect with my Android I get this error: "Clientless (browser) SSL VPN access is not allowed".

We currently have an IPsec VPN set up and useres connect through the Ciso VPN client using group authentication, then they are prompted for a username and password, and use the same username/password they log on to thier work computers with. Some of the users have recently got Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablets and would like to connect to the VPN using those tablets, but I can't figure out how to get the tablets to work. I've tried the anyconnect app for the andriod market as well as creating a VPN connection from the Tablet's settings page, but no luck either way. Perhaps I'm not entering a setting right? Has any one had any luck getting andriod tablets to connect to a Cisoc VPN?

Since the day they were installed (5Months ago) we had connectivity issues with mobile devices. This was somewhat resolved in the latest FW 1.0.04 but we are still having random disconnections on the units every 2 - 4 days and have to reboot the units. Lately the units have become unresponsive and reset themselves back to factory settings.
What we have done so far:
Changed router models - No change
Changed from Static IPs & DHCP - No change
Turned on isolation - No change
Performed a wifi analysis to pick the best channel for each unit - Slight signal gain but still disconnects
Changed to 20Mhz only (And all other variations) - No change
I think I am left with no option but to return these for some other brand. I'm really regretting buying these units at the minute...
We have configured a Cisco ASA 5505 with AnyConnect access. This works great. However, these users cannot seem to ping devices on the private network. We have configured all devices on the network with a 10.10.10.0/24 address space. The inside interface of the ASA i 10.10.10.1/24 and the VPN return addresses are 10.10.10.50 - 10.10.10.65/24.They users can utilize SSH and Oracle or MySQL calls but cannot seem to ping. Obviously, I am over looking something.

Please try connecting again".I face this problem after replacing my pc. I was able to connect without problems on my previous pc.The vpn connection uses cert which i have already import to my new pc and authentication is fine since no authentication error. No changes made on my firewall.

we have ASA 5510 with IPS and base license. Now we need Anyconnect support for more than 2 users.
Is for Anyconnect (tunnel-mode) only the Anyconnect Essentials license enough? Do I need a license for SSL VPN peers? What about Anyconnect clientless, I see that I need a premium license? Is this one enough ASA5510-SSL50-K9? It is really expensive in comparison with Anyconnect Essentials.

I have an internal application which requires operators to have a static IP address. I'm looking for a way to do this for our VPN users. At the moment they are given a random DHCP address from a pool. Is there an easy way to get a static address assigned to VPN users on a Cisco ASA5510 any connect VPN?
