How To Open New Router Page
Feb 10, 2011We already have wired network and some access points. Today one addition wireless access point (wireless router) is purchased. I'm confused how to start off though I know to configure after I read some articles(disable DHCP, and give lan ip) . In the router, it is written 192.168.1.1, id : admin, pass : admin. We already have router with 192.168.1.1 so if I type 192.168.1.1 , it opens the page of that router. How to open the new router page?

Oct 23, 2012When my wife gets chemo, we spend the day at the hospital, and I login to their WiFi as a guest. When I do, I make a connection with no problem, but after the initial page comes up, additional pages load very, very slowly regardless of what browser I use (Chrome, Firefox, or IE). I don't have that problem on any other network. Moreover, other users on that same hospital network can login as guests without encountering that problem. So, the problem is not browser-related, and it occurs only when a single laptop connects to a specific network. I'm using a Dell XPS 16, running Windows 7 Pro with Windows Firewall.

Jul 18, 2011im having a problem with a network drive on a gigabit network that is shared from a file server. Theres a few shares that all contain similar ammounts of data (about 80gbs worth) however one drive for some reason takes 5 seconds to open. It doesnt matter which computer on the network you try from either its still delayed. This has only in the last week started happening. Other drives set up open instantly.

Feb 22, 2011I was playing a MMO game called Wizard101, when randomly, I disconnected from it. I tried first to re-connect to the game, no success.So I tried going to its website, loads very slowly, sometimes not loading at all.Then I wanted to try go to its fansite, to ask for support there, but it turns out that the fansite isn't loading too.I try to load a few more pages that is related to the game, but none of them will load.However everything else seems to load just like normal.
I try to fix this with using my usuall fixes:
- I tried connecting to the websites on another computer. Didn't work.
- Restarted my internet + reset my router back to standard. Neither did this work.
I haven't changed any of my internet settings in a few months; so I doubt anything there would be the problem.

Jul 2, 2012Regarding to subject above, I using Cisco 1921/K9 which I have bought from ECSM on 19-march 2012 currently facing a problem with the cisco. My problem is the I can’t browse most of the webpages and very slow browsing even I’m using Unifi 10mbps .
I couldn't open websites ex. msn.com / yahoo.com but if i bypass the cisco router there is no issue appear. I have checked the setup and there are no problem on the configuration or the Unifi line . I think it would be any hardware problem. I have attached the info of configuration the cisco .

I installed Comodo's Firewall and during installation I accepted to install the Secure DNS too. Afterward I noticed my web-pages loaded slower than usual. They weren't extremely slow but definitely slower than what I've been accustomed. I tried some OPENDNS servers and others to see if it made any difference but it didn't. I also went to my router's setup page((http://192.168.1.1/)so I could manually add the previously mentioned DNS servers. I finally decided to revert back to my old DNS list. To disable using the Comodo DNS servers I did the following:Wireless Network Connection Properties-> Internet Protocol Ver 4 (TCP/IPv4)-> Properties -> Select "Obtain DNS server address automatically"I also went into to my router's setup page (http://192.168.1.1/) to set my DNS list to zeros so that I can get back my default ISP's DNS servers (207.69.188.185,186,187). However, website loading is still sluggish.I thought the issue might just be a temporary hiccup from my ISP but my roommate doesn't have these issues. We tried a speed test at dslreports.com and the results were weird. On my laptop the results were 8500+ Kb/s with a 279ms latency. I was 10 ft away from my router.

Oct 23, 2011I turned on my PC and started using Facebook normally, it was a bit slower than usual and then suddenly, it didn't load anymore. I tried more than once, but then it started loading only text on the left side of the page and I couldn't use it practically. This happened also with Yahoo, but I didn't see it happening with some other websites, they work totally normally.I stress I have tried clearing the whole cache and history of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, system restore, check of sfc.exe, creation of new user account, running of an Ubuntu LIVE CD, uninstallation of all browsers and installation of the latest versions once again, changing of the MTU to 1500, turning off my router and antenna but unfortunately nothing has worked till now.What wonders me is that Facebook works normally on my laptop which uses wireless connection provided by the same router and antenna.

Feb 12, 2013I have a router Cisco 2911 with two possible Wan interfaces out and a backup configuration using IP SLA. When the Primary Interface goes down the traffic is automatically rerouted through the Backup Interface, but the problem I have is that when the traffic is going through the Backup Interface (because the Primary is down) if the Backup Interface also goes down, if the Primary goes up, the traffic is not automatically rerouted to the Primary Interface. And it looks to me like it keeps trying to goes out the Backup Interface and cannot see that the Primary is down. I guess that the pings are going out the backup Interface and as it is down the router doen't receive any anwer to the ping and doesn't change to the Primary.
The main configuration related to the IP SLA is this:

The problem was that HWIC-4ESW no longer pass traffic although showing that the interfaces are up rebooting the router solved the problem. What IOS is more stable and not subject to this problem?
