I have one of my customer have cisco 2951 Router with two ISP and two ADSL module .i already configure one ADSL module.rit now customer want secondISP ( ADSL) module configuration separate netwok because customer have Access pont they want connect directly to router is it possible
1st ISP already running but customer requirement 2nd ISP superate network with Access pont not redundancy
I have the situation with my new Cisco 2951 router. It has only one module on board - SM-D-ES3-48-P. I don't know what is wrong but I can't see any information about this module. When I connect my laptop to any port it's become green, but it's still green even after I disconnect PC from this port. Sh ip int brief command shows only built-in gigabit interfaces. I also connect my second PC to the router by console to monitor any changes when I connect or disconnect laptop to the module's ports. [code]

I want the ports to act similiarly to the ports on an 881 router - where I assign the VLANs on the router and I set the VLANs to the switchport interfaces.I would like to be able to create the VLANs on the router portion of the 2951 and then, enter the switch module and configure the Ports to the VLANs but, how do I logically connect router to the switch? Is it an internal logical interface - meaning how are the VLANs getting from the router to the switch?

How do we define public static IP's, the example seems to show DHCP?In order to detect if a line is down, it has to ping an IP address that is specific to the connection - correct? So could I use the gateway for the ISP? The issue I have with this is the gateway might be up, but the Internet down. Next, we need to make sure that when someone visits one of our public IP addresses, the return data is sent through the connection requested. What we don't want is a situation where incoming connections are not working.From experience, load-balancing causes certain websites and SaaS applications to break because requests are coming from two different ISP's. Is this the case with OER? Finally, any links, config or something to advise how a fail over only configuration would work given we have internal servers (PAT/NAT inbound would need to translate properly with the failover IP)? Basically if ISP 1 goes down, I.E. router cannot ping 8.8.4.4 then it switches to ISP 2, until ISP 1 comes back online and switches back? This would need to change the NAT rules for inbound as described.

The plan is to replace the router with a new 2951 router and a NM-T3/E3 card.After the router was replaced, I configured the NM but the circuit remained dow/down. So our actual doubt is if the Cisco 2951-SEC/K9 can have some “extra” WAN configurations/authentications that are not available in our Cisco RV220W and that can implicate that we cannot use our RV220w router?

I checked many websites and found different configurations everywhere. I don't know which is best suited for me. I used SDM and configured ADSL. When i checked the configuration from console i found that there is atm0.2 and dialer 2 configured with my settings. I cannot understand what is the purpose of atm0.2 and dialer 2 when atm0 and dialer0 are there. Is there a doc on ADSL config on 837?

I am configuring a 1841 router for use in small out office. I will use the s0/0/0 for main WAN T1 connection. I then wanted to use the ATM0/1/0 WIC-1-ADSL card as a failover. I am using weighted static routes for failover. Fe0/0 is LAN interface. When I go into SDM and look at the ATM interface it says this configuration is unsupported?
1. Can't I just get a DSL modem and connect it to fe0/1 and not use ATM WIC and use below for failover?
2. If I have to use ATM WIC what needs to be configured for it to work with Att aDSL?

My ADSL connection is PPPoA with a dialer interface and I have been provided 6 ip's from my provider to use on this service. Previously I have connected Fa0/0 on the 1841 straight onto my network and used NAT and ACL's on the 1841, I would now like to change this and have Fa0/0 connected to a Palo Alto firewall and use the Palo Alto to provide NAT, Firewall & site to site VPN functions. What config would I require on the 1841 to allow me to use one of my ISP IP addresses on the Palo Alto to allow it to be a VPN endpoint? Do I need to configure the 1841 in bridge mode?

They, are however not able to connect or they are connecting but they cannot transfer files. I checked the logs on the router and the error message is as follows:

Very weird situation... can't get full speed with the TD-W8968 with my DSL link..
Something strange is happening to my Cisco 1941W. Every time I reboot the router i loose the running configuration of the service-module (Access Point module). The weird thing is that the router's configuration remain the same. I made sure i save the configuration by issuing the wr command on the service module console but still happens. My router's current IOS version is 15.0(1)M1 and my AP's is 12.4(21a)JA1.
I also did another test by making sure the startup-configuration was identical to the running configuration and when I reload the router still happens.
I am currently stuck to setup an automated configuration backup for ACE Blades. I found a script to backup the ACE from the Cisco ANM box but unfortunately I am not very familiar with Linux. (script) in place, to "pull" the ACE config from a Microsoft system ?

1. L3 interface on the switch modules (with ip address configured)
2. OPSF on the router with connected interface redistribute (which includes the switch module L3 interfaces)
I don't see any of the switch module L3 interfaces routes in the router, not even the connected interface.

And I would like to ask some opinion on the best configuration for the above layout:
1. Configuration #1 - Using load sharing and automatic failover So I want to ask whether there's any link/url that provides details/guides on how to setup the load sharing and failover?
2. Configuration #2 - Workstations 1 - 35 will be routed through Line01 gateway and workstations 36 - 70 will be routed through Line02 As for this configuration, it's done now. However, I want to know whether there's any software (preferred web based application which allows me to change the gateway from line #1 to line #2 for all 70 computers instead of having to go to each workstation to update the gateway).
