I have a 3560G that I cannot apply a policy route-map to one of the VLAN interfaces. I am running up to date software, c3560-ipservicesk9-mz.150-2.SE2 and it accepts the command, but does not show it in the sh run of the interface. I updated to this code as I had seen previously someone said it needed to be version 15 before you could apply route-maps to VLAN interfaces.

I have some specific traffic that I am attempting to pull off of VLAN 310 at the router, apply a route-map that sends this specific traffic back down to the switch on VLAN 55 (and the private address) and once it hits the switch apply a route-map on that VLAN 55 interface directing the same traffic over to the 72.x.x.9 address which goes through a FAP box back up to the router on another interface.
I have attached the config information, I know this isnt the best practice way to do this however right now this is how I have to do this.When runing a trace from the net traffic stops at .2 and when running a trace from my test /30 it stops at .2 as well. I am not sure what to do at this point

The problem is in the traffic matching by the rule - there is matches not only for 172.16.0.0/16 prefixes but for the whole traffic in that VLAN.

The static nat rules are being successfully bypassed (which is what I want), but why does the dynamic policy nat rule apply if an exempt rule has been hit already? An actual test between the IPs above reflects the result of the packet tracer as well (IP a.b.c.d is seen on server w.x.y.z).We are running the following software on an ASA5520.

What I have are 3 Cisco 1941 routers that are all endpoints for a customer's MPLS network. STL is the headquarters and both remote offices have a link back this router. Each of the remote locations only have 1 serial interface. It is a flat network with few routes and a small shoretel voip system running across it. Each router is running C1900 Software (C1900-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 15.0(1)M5, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2).
QoS is configured as follows on each router:

I've tried to create a different policy map with the same settings and get the same error. We thought that when it was first set up, each interface belonged to the same network, so we separated things out (hence the .252 mask). I'm not sure what else to try and I'm hoping its something painfully simple that I'm missing.
I am facing problem with ACE configuration. I want to redirect 443 traffic to my Proxy Server. But I am not able to do this. I want to redirect only subnet 192.168.80.0/24..Then only it is working but I dont have to have this policy to be applied on all the users only one subnet I want to have under HTTPS policy.
how can I apply the policy only on specific subnet so that port 443 traffic can be redirect and rest of all subnets can go direclty to Internet.

My issue: I have installed a firewall within my network. Currently all my clients default gateway defaults to GW:192.168.1.1. I would like all my internet traffic to route to the firewall ip 192.168.1.30. My Primary switch ip is 192.168.1.10, which is a 3560G running 12.2(25)SEE2 IPBASE-M.
My main problem is, I do not have access to the gateway, so I am trying to route internet traffic from within my switch to the firewall. I have already tried Route-Map, but seems this version of the OS does not support. I have already tried Policy-Map, but same as above. I have also tried IP ROUT command, but it did not work either.
And remember, I would like to perform the routing from the switch, because I do not have access to the default gateway which is a router to perform forward internet traffic to the firewall.
I am trying to implement static route tracking on a Catalyst 3560G ( WS-C3560G-48PS, IOS version 12.2(35)SE5 and SW image C3560-IPBASE-M). The configuration is as follows:

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a 3560G and an ASA FW, for which I am trying to use PBR to append the next hop. The gateway is the switch VLAN address and the amended net hop is the same VLAN interface on the ASA. Trouble is, I can ping the FW from a client, but not the switch. If I remove the route map, I can ping both. Even more strange is this is the case for some VLANs, but not all!

I want to translate traffic from certain subnets on the inside (say 10.1.2.0 255.255.255.0) to an outside address (say 1.2.3.0 255.255.255.0). I'm assuming the ASA using the number after the brackets to distinguish what to translate? So if I had another entry with a '2' after the brackets, any of the '1' entries wouldn't translate to this? I have access-lits inbound on the INSIDE interface, I'm assuming these are applied before any NAT and only items allowed through the access-list are allowed to NAT?
I also have an address I would like to statically NAT with a certain port number, how do I do this? After I've configured this, what are the commands to apply NAT on the interface?

I have three VLANS set up on my Catalyst 3560G switch. Each VLAN has its own subnet and I have enabled IP routing and set up my VLANS so that clients on VLANS 1 and 3 can get to VLAN 2 because they share a server located on VLAN 2. However, now they can also see and get to each others VLANS! How I can allow my clients on VLANS 1 and 3 access a server on VLAN 2 but not access the other VLANS? I don't want VLAN 1 to get to VLAN 3 or VLAN 3 to get to VLAN 1.

We use a Cisco 3560G Layer 3 switch, where we have all our vlan where we have konfiguerat ex. Switch (config) # interface vlan 150, an interface for each VLAN capabilities such as int vlan 1 - 10/10 int vlan 2 to 30/10, int vlan 3 100/10 and so on.
Our int vlan is configured as follows:

Now the problem; we have a customer in ex. vlan 3 who needs to access a server provided by another customer in the same vlan (vlan 3), and access to each other in the same vlan is not possible. You can access the server from any other vlan, but when it comes to access to another host in the same vlan, you will not reach it.
We suspect that the energy company has configured with pvlan isolated. If we use the command ip local-proxy-arp on each vlan, it works to reach each other, but it seems that our 3560 becomes overloaded when ip local-proxy-arp is enabled and it streaming and use IP telephony it doesn't work. The response time at ping is longer and the loss of packets increase with ip local-proxy-arp enabled. The other operators in the metropolitan also uses Cisco 3560G so the hardware should be sufficient.
We have also tried to add no split-horizon, but it made no difference. How do we get around this without negative consequences? Probably need something that makes you allow to send out the same interface that it came from, because it works as long as you are in another vlan.

I can't seem to get VLAN 79 through to the first switch (3560G). Beyond this switch there is a router with acts as default-gateway for the respective VLANs. For VLAN 79 it is 192.168.79.1. I can ping this from the first switch but can't ping it from the second (3560X) switch but can ping 192.168.25.1 which also is the default gateway for this switch.
I have a pair of SRP527W-U units, which each connect to a separate ISP by ADSL2+ . I am attempting to use each simultaneously as follows:
ISP-A via Cisco A for general traffic, and to run HTTP server X
ISP-B via Cisco B to run HTTP server Y
HTTP servers X and Y are on one machine, but binding to two separate IP addresses eg x.x.x.3 and x.x.x.4 . In a situation like this, I would normally configure Cisco A and Cisco B with x.x.x.1 and x.x.x.2 respectively. CiscoA would run DMZ to x.x.x.3 and Cisco B DMZ to x.x.x.4. The server would use x.x.x.1 as the default route. Then I would set Cisco A to have a policy route catching source address x.x.x.4 and sending it to next-hop/gateway x.x.x.2.
BUT, the policy route feature requires traffic be sent out the WAN port or a tunnel (no next hop, only WAN side VLANs, tunnels or interfaces). configuring a GRE tunnel connecting the two routers is fruitless, and the tunnels refuse to be created on the LAN side (tunneling is only possible out the WAN).
Attempting to simultaneously use the 4th LAN/WAN port in WAN mode also fails, as the WAN port is only available when the ADSL port is not. Under Win2000 and Linux it was possible to configure two separate network cards and use seperate sub nets, each with a default route. This feature no longer works with more recent versions of Windows.
How I might get this working, without buying a 887? I am open to buying a 547.
I have to do a policy route on my cat6500. basically, I want to redirect all traffic from 10.1.1.100 to internet address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to another machine 10.1.1.101. however, the 10.1.1.100 and 10.1.1.101 are in save subnet. not directed to cat6500, but both connecte to same switch which is linked to cat6500. However the 10.1.1.101 is not a cisco router. but some sort of equipment which change traffic and pass them to another subnet.
that means can I do below:

I've been given the task to clean-up our network config, and have walked into a disaster zone.We have a 4510R on site with everyone using the default VLAN, VLAN 1.I have created 4 new VLANS, VLAN100, VLAN150, VLAN200, VLAN250 I have assigned interface addresses to each VLAN and configured Inter VLAN routing.I can route to and from each new vlan with no problem, i.e VLAN250>VLAN100 VlAN100>VLAN200 etc but I can't route to VLAN 1(Default VLAN) from any of them, I can ping the interface on VLAN 1 from any VLAN , but any hosts are unreachable. On the flip side , from VLAN 1 I can route to all of the VLANS.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been using a route map to pick WAN exit points (PBR) on a 3725 router. This have been working fine with /24 networks. I am trying to pick the first /28 piece out of the 10.1.1.0 network and send it out a different exit from the rest of that network. I have tried the /28 entry at the start and end of the route map, although I thought the first match would stop any further route map processing. The entry does not seem to have any effect, as traffic from all addresses in the 10.1.1.0 /24 network exit per the "route-map 10-LAN permit 11" section.
