We have an ASR 9010 with IOS XR, and we are making the configuration to connect to a tacacs+ server, this tacacs+ server works and is givins service to many other MPLS equipments. We have been following the guide:

but we have had a lot of troubles, in fact we have loose the administration of the box, at this moment the only lines that are in the ASR900 are: [code]

if I do #sh arp in the terminal with this router I see a rogue entry thus:
Internet 192.168.0.4 0 Incomplete ARPA
My whole LAN operates on 172.16.x.x/16, there are no 192.168.x.x devices connected. In the past I've had 192.x.x.x devices running but for a long time and the router has been restarted since then. I've tried several clear commands in the terminal but this entry is stuck there and I've also seen it in a wireshark scroll on a pc when monitoring the routers' adsl traffic - it shows up an an SNMP entry and I do use SNMP on my router, but that data goes to a 172.16.x.x. machine. How can I clean this entry out?
I was working on a Cisco 2600 series router earlier today running IOS 12.4. I ran into an issue where I could not clear the startup-config. I tried:
router#erase startup-config
router#reload
router#erase nvram
router#reload

each time IP addresses and things got cleared but other aspects did not which should have been. In the nvram there were several files:

I have a 4500 Catalysts switched (4510 R ) that require the configuration to wiped back to factory default setting, How would i go about clearing the configuration on each module board
The chassis consists of
2 x Supervisor engines v WS-X4516 with Flash cards
4 x WS x84448 GB RJ45 48 port switches
1 x WS x4306 GB Switch Module
I also have a Catalyst 6500 that requires each module within the chassis to we wiped back to factory defaults
1 x Supervisor engine WS X 6k SUP 2- 2GE
1 x WS X6416 G-Bic 16 port GB Ethernet
4 X WS X 6148 CE-TX Base T GE 10/100/1000
1 x WS X6348 48 Port Inline Power Capable
And i have a Catalyst WS - C 6513 with the following Module card that need the configuration wiped to Factory defaults as well
I have a new asr9010 that I want to upgrade from 4.2.0 to 4.2.1 sofware. When i try to run the "install activate isk0:asr9k-mini-p-4.2.1 sync" it fails and complains that the 2 files below or equivalent must be active.
iosxr-infra V4.2.0
iosxr-fwding-4.2.0
When do a show version i can see files are loaded and on the asr9010. Attached is a show tech

I try to setting up a PIX firewall to server as firewall end point for a small network for Internet access. I had include PIX configuration setup, I had replaced IP address information by sentence which describe them since IP Address is sensitive information in our network.
For some reason NAT process doesn't work in log I always receiving this kind of messages :

I have one 12-port 3750 switch having one gig connectivity with ASR-9010 router having IOS-XR. I am not able to ping this link with 9000 mtu size. I have enable system mtu jumbo on switch to 9000 and on ASR router interface mtu is set to 9114. At switch side switch interface is configured as a trunk port and one vlan has been passed on that interface. I am not able to ping the ip 172.16.10.2 with 9000 mtu size.

the old ASA are running: 8.0.3 and ASDM 6.0.3
the new ASA are running: 8.2.5 and ASDM 6.4.5
I thought it would be simple as export and import the config file, but when i tried to restore, the new one is looking for a zip file but the old one doesn;t backup file in ZIP. It looks like i need to update the ASA version or/and ASDM?
I am pretty new to this and never upgrade any of these versions since I am aware of the upgrade may mess things up. So do I need to upgrade both the ASA version and the ASDM in order to restore my config? any effect if i do the upgrade? I also read some articles, we need to upgrade on the version one by one, like 8.0 to 8.1 then 8.2?

My question is can we upgrade the WiSMs and do the WCS at a later date with no issues or do we need to do them at the same time to keep visibility of everything?
The reason I ask is that some of my clients use lobby ambassador for some of their users and they will need wireless access on the day we are due to upgrade WCS (the WiSMs are due to be upgraded and rebooted earlier that morning.
