configuring Cisco AnyConnect VPN? For some reason with the config below, I seem to get connected but then my internet connection randomly drops and reconnects. Ive tried several different times to get this to work properly but Im obivously missing something here.

I am familiar with PIX and IOS prior to 8.3 so this is my 1st time with newer versions. My equipment is in a lab environment at the moment but will be placed into production shortly. What anyconnect version do I need on a 5505 so i can have people connect via iOS devices? Right now I have "anyconnect-macosx-i386-2.5.1025-k9.pkg" on there, will that work for iOS devices?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am looking to download an older version of the Cisco AnyConnect Start Before login module. The filename is anyconnect-gina-win-2.5.2017-pre-deploy-k9.msi.Cisco no longer has the download link on their website. The oldest version they have is 6005.
Upgrading to a newer version is not an option as it is a huge project to upgrade 10000+ machines.I called Cisco Support and they told me that I would need to post in these forums to receive the file.

My client is upgrading from anyconnect 2.5.2014 to 3.1.00495. The ASA is running ASA 5520 version 8.2(5)33 and is in an active/standby failover pair.when trying to push out the new 3.1 from the pair to windows 7 and XP machines, he gets the error "Failed to get configuration from secure gateway. Contact your system administrator". When he tries to push 2.5.2014 and 2.5.6005 out from the pair this works fine.When pushing the 3.1 out from a stand-alone test ASA 5520 it works fine.

I am trying to setup an ASA 5510 for anyconnect. I was using the document: [URL] which looks the same as:[URL] I get to step 3:Click Configuration, and then click Remote Access VPN.Expand Network (Client) Access, and then choose SSL VPN Connection Profiles.

Windows clients work fine. When loaced from safari in Mac OS, it also works fine. -- If I browse to the url, like vpn.xxx.com/profilename, I can login and anyconnect will start and connect automatically. Only when run from applications > Cisco > Cisco Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client, I will get this failure. Is this a configuration issue?

the old ASA are running: 8.0.3 and ASDM 6.0.3
the new ASA are running: 8.2.5 and ASDM 6.4.5
I thought it would be simple as export and import the config file, but when i tried to restore, the new one is looking for a zip file but the old one doesn;t backup file in ZIP. It looks like i need to update the ASA version or/and ASDM?
I am pretty new to this and never upgrade any of these versions since I am aware of the upgrade may mess things up. So do I need to upgrade both the ASA version and the ASDM in order to restore my config? any effect if i do the upgrade? I also read some articles, we need to upgrade on the version one by one, like 8.0 to 8.1 then 8.2?

View 6 Replies View RelatedWe are looking to upgrade our WiSMs to version 7.0.230.0, but the Cisco compatibility matrix suggests we need to upgrade WCS to the same version (it is currently on 7.0.172.0). My question is can we upgrade the WiSMs and do the WCS at a later date with no issues or do we need to do them at the same time to keep visibility of everything?
The reason I ask is that some of my clients use lobby ambassador for some of their users and they will need wireless access on the day we are due to upgrade WCS (the WiSMs are due to be upgraded and rebooted earlier that morning.

I have webcams that need port 8081 opened and I did that, everything worked fine until my DIR655 jammed up and power cycling it and the modem 3-4 times DID not make it work: no internet access and it was definitely a DIR655 problem. So, out with the paperclip to do the big reset, causing me to lose my configuration. When "most" of it came back up with my new config (I had screen prints), all was okay EXCEPT the webcams. Addresses and ports were all configured properly, address was fixed too on the client computer rather than use DHCP. I had a DNS relocation service running (DYNDNS) for the WAN side, but that address (My IP) didn't change either. I tried EVERYTHING. Finally, I realized in all my screwing around that I had enabled UPnP in my application, something I hadn't done before, but did this time as a desperation move. UPnP had always been checked off in the router. So.....I REMOVED my port forwarding and virtual server settings (either one worked before), and voila, everything working, Is this a normal occurrence, that if you have UPnP running, that this auto configuration overrides any manual configuration?
