I have inherited a working but ancient Win 2000 DNS/Web Server on a T1 line and need to update it to a more modern Linux system. Is there a relatively easy way to export the windows configuration to a Bind config that I can modify?
View 1 RepliesI have a server running Windows Server (can be 2003 or 2008 if it matters). The server has multiple IP addresses allocated to it.I want to use the IP addresses *as if they were remote high anonymous proxies*. I want all traffic to and from each application to use the same IP address and I want to be able to add the IP addresses to applications in the same way I would a remote proxy (presumably using 127.0.0.1 ort)So for each 127.0.0.1 ort address traffic travels like so:
application <-> localhost <-> internet facing IP address <-> remote site
Is this even possible? I know I can do this using a seperate Linux VPS running squid but I'm curious as to if it can be done on one server running windows.
I have configured an easy vpn server in cisco 1905 ISR using ccp.The router was already configured with zone based firewall. But when i try to connect my office using vpn client i can reach only upto the internal interface of the router but can't access the LAN of my company.Do i need to change any configuration in ZBF since it is configured as 'deny any' from outside to inside ? If then what all protocols do i need to match ? Also is there any NAT exemption for the VPN clients?

Everything work fine but before finishing the job, I wanted to lockdown all the network device so they would not be accessible from some subnets. Problem is, I cannot bind my ACLs to any interface. I get "Cannot apply because lack of HW resources." I am running firmware 3.0.0.18, and 3.0.1 release notes don't address that issue. TCAM utilization is at 3% Routing resources shows host: 200, routes:60, ip interfaces: 50 I have tried from the cli and get the same message.

For our wireless, we enabled the machine authentication, but we want to bind the machine authentication and user authentication together which means they need to meet both requirements to access the wireless, how can we do this? Right now looks like as soon as the machine is authenticated, it can access the network, no user authentication needed.

- Management (vlan709): 10.41.200.253
- lan (vlan 1): 190.1.1.123
- guest (vlan 708): 10.41.222.253
My LDAP server is: 190.1.1.22
The controller could ping the LDAP Server. And LDAP Server ping WLC too. When the controller try to connect in the LDAP server, return this on debug:

I have a switch from SG 500 Series the works as Layer 3 Routing Switch with the Firmeware 1.2.7.76. I have create some diferent VLAN´s and have defined one ACL for each VLAN. Now i try to do a binding from the ACl to a VLAN but i have only the option to bind the ACL to a phys. Interface or a LAG.is the a possibility to bind the ACL to a virtual interface like in other Cisco serieses and how it works ? the Backround is i have connectetd 2 Hyper-V Server where the Guests are in different VLAN´s and the server is connectetd with a 10Gb Trunk to the Switch now the switch routed the different VLAN´s and i must have some restrictions between the VLAN´s.

The home setup also has a physical Cisco VOIP phone that connects into a Call Manager Express system over the VPN. The home user cannot hear the other end properly and voice is breaking up when using office apps on the VPN link at the same time (Outlook etc),
We continue to hear his voice OK when he is having these problems hearing us, so I guess the upload of voice from the 877 is fine and not struggling with congestion, so I have not put Qos Policies on the 877 as I guess it can only control what it is sending out and this is already working OK. Therefore its the 877 downloading from the ASA that seems to be the issue, voice is not getting prioritised when other traffic is getting sent down the same vpn link.
I have set up the following QoS policy on the ASA for this link so Voice traffic is prioritized, but the issue still occurs so I guess it doesn't work,

I have a 857 (124-4.T12). And would like to setup an Easy VPN server. I can run through the wizard in CCP, but it does not work from the VPN client. It does not complete the first stage of comm. All I have done is run the wizard and create a user. I'm fairly happy with Cisco routers, but the VPN part is new to me. I've read the walk through document on the Cisco site. I created it on a new local loop back.
The first time I run the wizard and click test it tells me none of the cyrpto interfaces are up. Are there some prerequisite I'm missing?
I'm trying to migrate old data from WCS 7.0 to Prime 1.2 ... I have already created the zip file from WCS and imported it into the defaultRepo on Prime. I see it in the directory when I do a show repository defaultRepo so I have confirmed that it is there. My issue is that it appears Prime 1.2.1.012 won't accept the cli command of ncs migrate.
how I can proceed with the migration? I haven't been able to find any similar command in the Prime CLI so at this point I'm lost as to where I should go from here. I really don't want to have to tell the customer they have to downgrade to Prime 1.1 in order for them to perserve their maps especially since the Deployment Guide for Prime Infrastructure states that it is possible to migrate date from WCS 7.0 to Prime 1.2 as shown below ...

I installed a chained SSL cert on our anchor/guest 4402 a few years ago.We now have a need to replace the 4402 w/ a 5508, and I got everything configured, ready to go, except that darn cert.I can no longer locate the private key that was used to sign the original CSR.Is there any way to export the current cert from the 4402, so that I can import to the 5508? Or am I SOL?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have done a WCS 7.0.220.0 to NCS migration prior to moving to Prime 1.2. I followed the instructions to export the WCS database via the export.bat all command and exported the database. However, when I import this zip fileto NCS there do not seem to be any of the original WCS templates. All the maps and AP details have migrated but no templates.
I have tried the export again and ploughed through the resultant zip file looking for anything that looks like template files but there is nothing immediately apparent that looks like templates.

See no devices both in DCR and RME, besides, in RME device counters (Normal/Pending/etc) are equal to current device count, but then you try to select them for any operation, you unsucceed - 0 device selected, no list of devices, unable to export, no ability to do anything.
Upgraded to 3.2 SP1, no change. Spend a lot of time digging through logs at /usr/adm/CSCOpx/logs, find no problems at all. Seems, that some database parts were corrupted.
I decided to reinstall LMS from the scratch, but to do so I need to export the DCR device data and credentials.
Database is alive (dbaccess.pl install going smoothly, then connection with user lmsdatafeed works and allows to connect and select data from any SQL tool), but this view is not enough for getting from the DCR both device data and credentials.
I have the DB password I set up during installation.
Is there any way to get data I need connecting to LMS database directly with some kind of sysdba SQL database user?

The interface is new to me and I am not sure where to add the routes. The local network is 192.168.66.0/24. The remote network is 192.168.4.0/24
I am trying to connect the Remote (conf) to the Corporate (conf). I have done this many times but now the new ADSM interface is confusing. I added the commands as you indicated with no success. The ASA gave me an error when I had added nat (inside) 0 access-list nonat. I wouldn't allow me to enable the EasyVPN option while this command was on the configuration. Here are the cry isa and cry ipsec isa files as requested.
I'm moving from a 5505 to a 5520 and moving to a different location. I have a certificate on the 5505 that I want to export to the 5520.Can I export that key/certificate and import to the new ASA? I am trying to export our network devices from ACS and I can't find out where it is exporting it. Under ACS 5.2 "Network ResourcesNetwork Devices and AAA Clients" you get the list of your network devices and at the bottom of the page there is an export button. When you click it you are given an option to password protect it which I didn't check the box and I pressed Start Export. The window flickers like it processed the request, but nothing happens. There isn't any pop-up to download the CSV. I have also tried setting up a software repo thinking it might just send it to that, but it didn't work either.

I have set up two ASA 5505's (lets call them ASA1 and ASA2) with site to site VPN configuration and i've encountered two problems with my setup.ASA1 has IP 192.168.1.254 on the inside interface and is connects ASA2. It's also an Easy VPN Server for external users to connect through Easy VPN Client.ASA2 has IP 192.168.11.1 on the inside interface and connects to ASA1 Problem #1 None of the ASA's can ping eachothers inside LAN IP address. Computers behind the ASA's are unable to ping the remote ASA's inside IP address. My guess is that this has to do with either NAT or built in security.Problem #2. The Easy VPN clients which connects to ASA1 are unable to access the LAN behind ASA2.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWe recently installed a 2911 sec router.On this device there are three Ipsec GRE Tunnnels which are working fine and an Easy VPN Server.The problem is that when clients connect to the easy vpn server they cannot ping anything inside , the configuration regarding protected networks is fine.After restarting the router the first client conneced works but when disconnected all the others are authenticating and the cant see anythining in the internal network . By checking the routing table i realized that the route to the virtual access interface is missing for no reason. i used the #debug ip routing detail command and i got the following during the client connection
