Samsung TV Won't Connect To Internet?
Dec 26, 2012My Samsung UN46C7000 will not connect to my wireless internet. It was connected in the past, but when I go through the test, it fails at "IP address, Subnet, Gateway, DNS Server Test Failed" I have done the typical reomve power from router/wireless combo, wait 30 seconds, plug back in.My other wireless devices connect to my wireless network with no issues. I even disconnected one and reconnected just to verify I had my security code correct.I saw something from Samsung that says DHCP needs to be enabled, but I believe this is disabled on my router and not sure how to change it.

Apr 26, 2012I recently bought this router for its great throughput and V LAN capabilities. It replaced a standard Linksys DIR-655.But now I am having trouble connecting my Samsung Galaxy2 (Android 4.0.3) telephone to my computer. Telephone is connected to WI-fi and computer is connected to wired LAN. When starting Kies on my telephone (this is a web server app) it tells me to connect to http://192.168.1.202:8080/ on my computer. This is the correct IP address for the telephone (I have reserved it on the router) and firewall is OFF in windows 7. But there is no response with Firefox or IE8. I have not changed anything on either the computer or the telephone since I replaced the router, so the problem must somehow be linked to the router.
Both telephone and computer are connected to the internet OK. I can even remote control the computer from the telephone using the VNC app on the telephone!So the network IS working. The problem is only related to the communication with the Kies app.

This router has my desktop computer and windows 2012 server plugged into it. The server is a domain controller that has the following roles installed: DHCP, DNS, ADDS, IIS, and Remote Access. My Windows 7 Professional desktop is joined to the domain controller. The wireless router serves my netbook, smartphones, and ipods. They do not authenticate with the DC but do get a DHCP ip address from the server.I have my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone that I'd like to be able to use to VPN into my network. Here is what I have done;Disabled the DHCP service on the router. Setup port forwarding to forward PPTP to my server's static IP address on port 1723.I created a user on my DC for this purpose and enabled the account for network dialup service.I created a DHCP Relay Agent in the Remote Access MMC.I opened up the Remote Access app on the server's firewall.On my phone I setup a 'New VPN Connection...' I use the username/password of the user I created for this purpose. I put in my ip address that I have from my ISP.

He wants to connect to the Dlink DIR-615's wifi to cut down on the data usage while at home on his 500mb per month data plan the ssid and the password are fine, but it hangs on the message "obtaining IP address..." which then after a while refuses to continue to connect and labels the connection "disabled"... the connection type is WPA2 AES something or other so as to guarantee wireless N connections for the xbox and my pc (the ps3 doesn't really do everything, it only does G not N lol)...
I am not familiar with the phone as it's not mine (someday maybe...) so maybe there is a setting i missed. I do know the router is not mac address restricted (meaning only certain computers are allowed to connect).

However, I cannot connect my Samsun BD-C7900 Blu Ray. What is really wierd is that the 5 Ghz and 2.4 Ghz have two different names on my router (cause that is what the cisco support tech told me to do- give them separate names) but on the Samsung BD-C7900 - it shows that there are two signals coming in but with the same name! When i tried to connect i get an error message. Keep in mind my E4200 v2 is secondary router connected to fios actiontec.
