Users are able to connect without a problem. Windows 7 (32bit) clients with this same VPN client get this address but get a default gateway 10.10.50.2 and are unable to connect for obvious reasons.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI have a user using windows 7 64 bit. I tried vpnclient-winx64-msi-5.0.07.0290-k9.exe and vpnclient-winx64-msi-5.0.07.0440-k9.exe. Installation is fine. Connecting is fine. But no traffic goes through.The remote end cisco is 1811 VPN Server split tunnel. User get authenticated by Radius server.
After connected, user get the correct IP address. In router, sh crypto session, it has SA, etc. But sh ip route, can't find the Static route point back to the client IP like other connections.
At user end, windows show the IP address but no gateway. Windows route print shows the VPN network via gateway xxx.xxx.xxx.1 which is not available.Other 32bit users have no issues with VPN.
I cant receive my email through windows live mail since i goit my router (i just got this problem with my hotmail account tho gmail work properly)

Since switching over, when I periodically look at email on Live Mail, I frequently get a "Windows Live Mail" message saying "Your server unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity." I have never received this message from either one of the previous routers - LinkSys, Netgear.

We have around 15 users who are using that server as file server only. My issue is that a file that is, say 700 kilobytes gets transmitted to the spooler as several megabytes. As a result when I print a file it runs through all of the paper in the tray. Ipconfig /all shows the IP address as 169.254.117.71 but this is determined by an entry in the registry at HLMSYSTEMCurre....'DhcpIPAddress' - REG_SZ - 169.254.117.71. Also listed at 'IPAutoconfigurationAddress'. My laptop connects fine plugged into the same port getting it's IP automatically (192.168.2.2) and getting internet fine. I've tried adding a DWORD entry 'IPAutoconfigurationEnabled' = 0, also tried deleting the 2 values.Tried setting the IP manually to 192.168.2.6 - limited connectivity goes away but I get no internet connection from the router nor file sharing.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have the e4200 and I am having trouble getting DHCP reservation to work properly with my Windows 7 machines. Perhaps there is a step that I am missing. Basically I go to the DHCP reservation setup page, select my machine and add it to the reservation table. Then I save the changes. As soon as I do this my computer goes offline. If I reboot my machine, it is still offline. I've tried the same procedure to reserve the IP address for my phone and it works fine so I wonder if the problem is with Win7.

I can use that, its not a problem.The issue is, I do have IP KVM/IPMI (I think that is what its called) and I can install the OS through that and mount the ISO. Problem is that it will take literally forever to install because my net connection is very poor (< 1MB upload)Is there a faster way to install Windows over the web in this situation?
