Install A New Graphics Card
May 26, 2011I don't have any other space in the PC, but would like to install a new graphics card, and it will take up two spaces, and the LAN is in the way.Would removing this LAN be any big deal, considering my needs?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently changed my graphics card (geforce 9100 to radeon hd 7750) because i wanted to enjoy some simple gaming and my previous graphics card (geforce 9100) wasnt capable of doing so. (This is my pc : HP Pavilion p6100 Desktop PC series*-* HP Pavilion p6130y Desktop PC Product Specifications - c01748306 - HP Business Support Center ). Before changing the card i uninstalled all nvidia related drivers (both in control panel and device manager) because i heard thats what youre supposed to do.
I successfully changed my graphics card (i think...) i can run all the games that i couldnt run before but.. I am having trouble connecting to the internet after changing the card. it seems like my computer isnt recognizing the inernet network. i know the network is fine because im writing this w/ my itouch which is connected to the network wifi. When i right click the red X icon w/ two computers and click "connect to a network" , it says "windows cannot find any networks" and i have no network options to choose from. Is it because i uninstalled drivers related to the network connection..?

Ive recently bought a Dell XPS 8300 desktop PC without a wireless card.
I have purchased a Dell 1520 wireless mini PCI-E card and installed it but it is not showing in the device manager at all.
The system is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, so i have downloaded the relevant driver for the wireless card from the Dell website but when i try to install the driver i get an error message along the lines of "No compatible hardware found. The software you are attempting to install is not supported on this system."
It clearly states that this driver is compatible with Windows 7 64 bit.
Ive tried refreshing the hardware list in device manager and searching for new hardware and ive cleaned the connector on the wireless card and reinstalled but it still isnt being recognised.
today my Belkin 7050 wifi adapter arrived.I went through the install procedure from the cd,and when asked to plug in the adapter,I got the message asking for a notebook card, which I haven't got.It then told me that the drivers aren't installed. The device isn't showing in device manager.I called Belkin support but all the could suggest was that the device was to try it in another computer.I am unable to do this because the communal computer needs administrator rights to install programs etc.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI cannot install the drivers for my TrendNet TEW-423PI network interface card. I am running Windows 7 64-bit with an Intel i7 2700k and an Asus motherboard. I have tried installing with the card already in the computer - no luck. Card out of the computer install and then shut off and put in - no luck. The instructions that come with the card say that after you install the program that instantly runs from the CD provided you should shut off the computer and install the card and when you turn the computer back on the drivers will install automatically. It has failed to do so and although I pulled all possible drivers from TrendNet's site it still stubbornly refuses to even recognize that there are drivers for it to install.
