Linksys Wireless Router :: WRT160Nv2 - Unable To Get Nanostation GUI

Unable to get Nanostation GUI when it is connectedI have a smart panel in the basement of my house which has a WRT160Nv2 in it. Connected to it in one port is a WRT610N which is on the second floor. Heres my issue now, for my main and computer rooms they are running off of one switch right (I'm not sure the IP of it or even how to find the IP of it) but basically any device connected to the smart panel router via ethernet cable is not recieving internet, devices connected wirelessly are.

I am connected to my ISP via Nanostation 5 IP Add:192.168.10.186 S.M: 255.255.255.0, the Nanostation Lan cable is connected to the WAN port of my Linksys E2000, I am using a PPOE connection with my ISP, the Linksys broadcast a new network using DHCP service, The broadcasted Network is 192.168.5.X 255.255.255.0, the thing is i am unable to get the Nanostation GUI, when i replace the Linksys with a TP-Link router i have no such problem becuase in TP-Link i can add an additional IP address which is the Nanostation's IP,Is there any way i can get the Nanostation GUI?

I have a WRT160Nv2 and I have a stack of 5 static ip addresses. I have the entire store wired and everything is working great, except my DVR. I cannot get it to work on the network. Should I use one of the static ip's or not?

I am trying to access my Wireless router via 192.168.1.1 When it asks for username and password i did..
Username: (BLANK)
Password: admin
But it didn't work, i think i may have changed the password at one time but im not sure. Is there anyway to check the password and username?

I have a computer that is connected to a linksys wireless router model WRT160NV2. I also have a laptop. I have never set up a lock or anything on my wireless connection and I think other people are using it. When I type the IP address 192.168.1.1 on my laptop, I do not get the screen to pop up to change my settings. Do I need to do this from the computer?

how i can change WRT160Nv2 settings if i cannot find it with default 192.168.1.1;i'm using it as secondary router connected to FIOS actiontec primary, which has the 192.168.1.1; factory default reset linksys to that same IP, can't get it.cannot get internet without actiontec as its coax connected, and linksys doesn't have coax port.can'ty open configure page without internet connection, i believe.tried to use a neighbor's wireless but that's using 192.168.1.1 as well, can't log in to that.this started with firmware upgrade of linksys which left it invisible; didn't complete the upgrade, i don't think. but i've reset it and still nothing.

I am in the process of upgrading a Linksys WRT160Nv2 to a Cisco E4200. I run Cisco Connect and enter my ISP password (7 characters long) and click save but when it refreshes the screen, the password field has 16 characters in it.

I Have a WRT160Nv2 and I am trying to get my nat to become unstrict for xbox live. I have tried port fowarding that has not worked. I tried this site [URL] and that didnt work(I only have one xbox 360 btw). Nothing has worked for me and every time I mess with something it screws up the internet so I have to set it up to the previous defaults. I know how to access my router I just need to know what to enable, disable, or add to the router.

So I just got this new WRT160Nv2 router. I have (1) wired computer and then my laptop running wireless to it. For the first couple days I had some issues getting consistant internet but after reading some stuff on here I downgraded to the version 8 hardware and it worked GREAT for about 3 days. Now my power light won't stop flashing and I have NO internet connection at all through the router. I have tried to reset the router by holding down the button and also unpluging it but still nothing.

i was looking at my network settings today on my pc and noticed a router (linksys wrt160nv2) that wasn't mine. i can right click on it and see its mac address but when i double click it asks me for a pin number. the device shows up with both a wired and wireless connection. i'm using windows 7 64-bit.

I have a WRT54G router that's worked for a very long time. I had WEP security set up and it worked fine until recently. About a week ago my three year old son managed to reset the router (I'm still not sure how). When I go onto the web-based setup page I am unable to change the wireless security setting. I select an option from the drop down menu but then the page reloads and nothing has changed.

I host a Minecraft server, and until a few days ago everything worked fine, but now no one can log onto the server. Troubleshooting, I discovered I am unable to access my WRT1200N at all unless I use Simple Port Forwarding. When trying 192.168.1.1, after putting in username and password, the login window disappears and I get an error:
401 Authorization Required Browser not authentication-capable or authentication failed.
My network uses two routers, the other a Vonage, which I am still able to access and has never given me a problem. When I access the Linksys router with SPF, I am still able to forward ports, but testing the ports always fails. I use Avast and Comodo for security, and have put the relevant port exceptions in my firewall. My connection and speed are otherwise unaffected, but no one can join anything I host.
I have reset both routers at least twice, reset button and unplug for 30 seconds, and updated and reinstalled my server software but the problem still persists.
Also, I am unsure if this is related either, but the last two days Network Magic has detected an intruder connecting to my network, and I found the security settings had been disabled. I am the only one in my house with acess to the network setup, I have removed the intruder and reset the password for my network, but have no idea how the security was disabled.

I had configured the AAA server on CoovaAP and was able to access the internet.I had configured the user name and password as a "testuser" and "password" respectively. With that user id i used to access the Coova AP router and internet.Now i want restore the WRT54GL firmware on Lynksys router. But with the used id and password which i had configured the router is not at all accessible. So i did 30-30-30 reset on the router 2-3 times. Now i can see openwrt login page with 192.168.1.1 IP address. It is asking for user id and password. I tried all the combinations of user id and password, but no luck. I browsed some link on the internet and some people have recommended that default user id as a "root" and blank password. But with that also the router is not accessible. I cant to do much on the router untill i will log in to router. I have spent lot of time on this. How to restore back the original WRAT54GL firmware on my router. Anyhow i want WRAT54GL firmware on Lynksys router

So here is the issue:
When I connect my modem directly to my computer (modem > computer) it works just fine, internet connects and everything through the direct ethernet connection.But when I connect the modem to the router and then try to connect wireless with any other computer (modem > router > wireless) nothing works. Not even when I have it connected directly from the router to the ethernet on the main computer. (Which has ALWAYS worked until now.

I have a Cisco Linksys router that I have been using for about 6 weeks just fine with Windows Vista on an Acer Laptop. We had some power outages (about 3, less than 30mins each) and the internet was down for nearly 48 hours early this week. Now that it is up, I was able to connect to my router for a few hours. When I shut my laptop off and about 2 hours later tried to access the web again, I found that I couldn't unless I hardwired from the modem.I've done the windows repair network connection and the Cisco Network Magic fix- (It says things like flushing DNS cache while doing its thing). Both say my network key is wrong. No one else in the house could have changed it, I was the only one home.I've power cycled both the router and modem. I've turned my laptop off and rebooted. I used the manufacturers settings to try to go in and see what happened. I can't type the router's direct IP and get into like it says I should in Firefox.
The one thing I've noticed is that prior to the outage- my router had a "name" that I named it, while now it's back to linksys_numbers_letters. However, I was still able to connect after the outage at the beginning.

Just purchased a ea4500 router. Have setup multiple computers/devices already and works great. This computer (HP dv6000 running Win Vista home prem) however will not connect to the internet. It states that it is connected to the router (computer sees router), using the cloud connect app on my iphone i can see this computer, but will not allow access to the internet (local connection only). It works fine with the wired connection. When attempting to use the cloud connect software, it says it was unable to complete the install. Have attempted trying while connected by wire as well, same result. Have deleted the wireless connection and allowed software to find connection, still same result, cannot install. Wireless worked perfectly with previous router (WRT54G) three days ago.

I am unable to login to my router ? I have tried to reset my router and am still unable to login to the online control panel. The steps that I went about resetting the router were pushing the reset button for 30 seconds. That did not work so I pushed the reset button for 30 seconds, unplugged the router while continuing to hold the reset button for 30 seconds, plugged the router back in while holding the reset for 30 seconds.

My e1000 was working fine until it was accidentally unplugged. Now it doesn't work. I downloaded the set up program from the site and tried to run it, but it does not recognize an internet connection when I have the modem connected to the router and the router connected to the PC. The internet works when I connect the modem directly to the PC. I have unplugged everything and restarted the PC several times and tried running the software again, but no dice.

I my parents have a WRT54G linksys router, they have a DSL modem. Everything was working fine with the wireless network until one random day POOF! the wireless no longer would connect on laptops. However, the internet is working just fine with the computer that is hardwired up throught the router. Since this is working it lets me know that the router is working fine and routing the connection through hardwire. Hard wired works on laptops but all laptops are unable to join the network and most of the time it will not show up in the list of available networks.Even my iphone wont connect saying unable to join network. We bought a brand new linksys router and same problem. I then took his old router to my house and hooked it up...and WOW it works as it should all devices can connect...even my iphone.

I just bought the EA6500 last week. Had to RMA it on Monday and got the new one today. The issue still persists. The power light is constantly blinking and my computer is unable to obtain an IP address from it. I contacted tech support and was unable to get the issue resolved so I had it exchanged believing it was defective. The new one does the same thing. When I connect my computer to it, the light on my Ethernet port stays a solid orange instead of green like it does for my usual router. The Cisco light is constantly blinking.

I have two USB drives connected to my EA6500. When I use the ip to connect to them everything works just fine, but I cant map the drives. If I access map drives, I cant do anything with the files. It looses connection all the time.

Just got a new hard drive installed on my laptop, and now for some reason I can not access my router. I am connected to the internet, and everything is fine there, but when I type the 192.168.1.1 and enter admin as the password, it shows that I am unauthorized.

I am a Malaysian, using Streamyx here, I search some articles shows that the ISP given is 60.49.166.105 or 60.49.166.106. Am I right in the setup? Why I am still unable to online though successful to connect after the setup configuration?

Since the upgrade by Cisco I can only see Win7 PC's on the network. I can not see the USB drive attached to the E4500, nor can I see my Media server which is Linux based nor any Win XP computuers.

I followed the directions at least 6 times and I still had no internet connection. Is this because I have Windows 8 and all directions are for windows 7? I finally gave up and hooked back up our 6 year old belkin wi fi router. Had internet access in 1 minute. I bought this wi fi router was because Amazon described it as simple, quick, automatically does the work of hooking it up for you. Takes less than 5 minutes.

after updating to smart wi-fi I can't access the USB FTP or off network.Only way it's accessible is from the computer the router is attached to via network drive.FileZilla gives me this error....."Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server".I've reset the router same problem.

I just upgraded my connection from 15Mbps to 30Mbps. And I have the strange problem of not being able to go above 20Mbps. From what I understand a 10/100Mbps is technically able to do up to 100Mbps? (Ethernet connection, not wireless)I just got off customer support and they said it's normal that it's capped at 20Mbps, the lady that was serving, albeit nice, didn't seem to understand what she was saying so I didn't try to push to get more info.

I have EA2700 Router which support to be a dual-band wireless router and I am trying to connect to my router using 5 Ghz band with AE2500 Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Adapter, I am only seeing 2.4 Ghz wireless band plus even if I manually enter my 5 Ghz SSID my network adapter still wouldn't work on 5 Ghz band. Is there any specific set up in order get 5 Ghz band to work?

Checked cable router (brighthouse), working. Router (all lights on but network traffic flashing indicates one way traffic). So I go to my wife's computer. It too has no connection. I open my laptop to connect to the wireless, IT WORKS! Pull power on Cable Modem and Router, wait 60 secs, power up Cable Modem and then power up Router (I know it wasn't nec to do modem but I wanted a clean start). Wireless is still working, no LAN. I can't even connect 192.168.1.1. Linksys software says it can't detect the modem. Reset time, hit the magic button in the back and sure enough everything stops working (which I figured). Still can't connect to it, and now I've lost wireless. I connect computer directly to Cable Modem and type this message. Seems to me that Router has failed.

I am trying to setup two wireless routers in my network. I purchased a E1200 N router and an older G Linksys router upstairs.When I got the N router I set it up a stand alone router and it worked great for a week or so. I then wanted to try to get both routers going to I changed the IP address on E1200 to 192.168.2.1....the router rebooted and then could not login. I am not able to get any internet conntion anymore. When I type 192.168.2.1 it goes to page can not be displayed, 192.168.1.1 same thing. Ipconfig shows some address auto address that I did not put in and i am also not connected to a modem. I cant log into the router at all.So reset: I held down the button for 30 seconds...let go and it blinks and then goes solid but does not reset. Unplugged router for 5 minutes tried again. Cant get into 192.168.1.1..will not prompt for anything. I have tried to reset this router about 10 times and can not get into the default login at all.
