View 1 RepliesI turned on my PC and started using Facebook normally, it was a bit slower than usual and then suddenly, it didn't load anymore. I tried more than once, but then it started loading only text on the left side of the page and I couldn't use it practically. This happened also with Yahoo, but I didn't see it happening with some other websites, they work totally normally.I stress I have tried clearing the whole cache and history of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, system restore, check of sfc.exe, creation of new user account, running of an Ubuntu LIVE CD, uninstallation of all browsers and installation of the latest versions once again, changing of the MTU to 1500, turning off my router and antenna but unfortunately nothing has worked till now. What wonders me is that Facebook works normally on my laptop which uses wireless connection provided by the same router and antenna.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to setup an ASA and a UC540 side by side, to utilize the ASA for data networking and the UC540 for voice. This 'should' work fine, I just seem to be having an issue where the ASA seems to be blocking traffic from the voice network as it passes through. So here is the LAN setup:ASA: 1.1.1.1UC540: 1.1.1.2The UC has a voice vlan 10.1.1.1/24 and a service module at 10.1.10.1/30My PC uses the ASA as its default gateway, 1.1.1.1The ASA then has static routes to the UC networksRoute 10.1.1.1/24 1.1.1.2Route 10.1.10.1/30 1.1.1.2Ping from PC to the UC networks works fine. However, ping from the UC networks to PC fails. ASA logs show traffic being denied due to not having an established connection or something. My guess is that the traffic is being blocked because the egress and ingress paths are different? Traffic from the PC goes to the ASA, then gets routed to the UC and it works. However in the other direction, traffic from the UC is going directly to the PC and bypassing the ASA, because its a directly connected network and doesn't have to route through the ASA to get to the PC. The reply traffic from the PC DOES go through the ASA following its route table, thus the issue of the ASA not seeing the established connection?Same-security inter and intra interface is enabled. So I think I see the issue, I just don't know how to fix it. Is there something I can configure on the ASA to allow for this? My only other option would be to configure a /30 on a new vlan to handle the routing between the UC and ASA or something, but that seems like its going to make this simple setup way too complicated with extra networks, vlans, trunks, etc.I am running ASA version 8.4.5?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWe have been having issues with random packet drops and or some sort of radio lockup which happens a few times a day. I have a test AP setup with a few clients only a few feet away and I see this combination of messages. Should I be seeing these clients drop off and then reconnect immediately? Granted these test clients are not passing much data but my assumption is that they would not become deauthenticated because of lack of activity? This setup is using a radius server for authentication. I tested it before with just WPA2 PSK and only had a few disconnected over a number of days, compared with many a day with the Radius.

could this problem be a version incompatibillity between the switches?

I currently have the following set up in my basement: Modem to 8 port router which has cables going into a patch panel which in turn provides internet access at 8 wall outlets throughout the house. My data/video streaming needs are expanding and I have had additional wiring pulled to the new locations. I would like to know if I can bypass the patch panel and go from the Modem to a 24 port switch to individual wall plates throughout the house.

View 3 Replies View Relatedim trying to move the config from an 3750 to 3750 PoE but without using the PoE options.I have allready download the config with tftp and upload it to the 3750 PoE. Now the new config is stored on the PoE switch but some of the old setting are still there. Not sure why, i think the config only overwrite the settings which are in the conf file and the setting which are not in the conf file but enabled on it will stay on the switch. After the upload of the config file I deleted all the config I do not need by hand. They are some settings i can't delete and I don't know why, this are the sittings:
1. each fastethernet port has this option: "no cdp enabled" this entry was no availble on the old switch, is the any possiblity to remove this entry?
2. the same for "no mls qos rewrite ip dscp"
3 and for this one "vlan internal allocation policy ascending"
I'm trying to move some configurations over to an ASA5510 and some of the commands are a bit different than I'm used to (worked on old pix before)
I've configured the following on the device:
Outside interface: 65.66.64.34/28
DMZ : 65.66.64.49/28
Inside : 10.2.3.3/26
===========================
The current firewall has the below configured on it (old Juniper)
10.2.3.0/24 gateway 10.2.3.15 **10.2.3.15 is the IP for 3750 switch on the inside LAN**
10.0.0.0/24 gateway 10.2.3.4 **10.12.175.4 internal vpn- will remove later but thats a different discussion**
0 0 gateway 65.66.64.33 **to internet
10.0.1.0 gateway 10.2.3.2 **10.2.3.2 represents mpls traffic
[code]...
The current set up for this network has an mpls router and a vpn concentrator as part of the network my aim currently is to replace the juniper with an asa5510 the changing of the vpn tunnels will be for a different time:
work station ===> switch (3750) DG to =====> MPLS (vendor owned and managed) ====> non mpls traffic ====> vpn concentrator ===>firewall ===> router
The above will need acls to go with the routes, which I should manage ok just want to make sure the routing is configured properly
I am in trouble with my cisco 1841 configuration. The "what I want to" schema: very external IP ( AAA.AAA.AAA.AAA ) in the internet cloud => | cisco 1841 external IP BBB.BBB.BBB.BBB | => internal computer IP CCC.CCC.CCC.CCC

Running an Ethernet cable from the router to my room is a last resort. I currently have Cox Internet, Telephone, and Cable. I do have a cable supplying internet to my room, so that is not my concern. How can I move my modem and router without losing phone service? Can it be any phone cable or does it have to be one connected to a special outlet as the modem currently is?

Steps (this what I think should be done):
1. Find all packets from A by acl
2. Route finded packets throught cisco1841 directly to internal ip address
It should be easy but it doesn't.
I am currently using g0/3 for failover between my two ASA5520's. I would like to move that to the management interface to free up g0/3 for a second DMZ segment. are there any implications to doing this live other than i would only have a single ASA during the move?
