I recently put my PC back to factory settings, however the Linksys wireless thing I'm using that's installed in my PC no longer works. bluetooth hands-free audio

bluetooth L2cap interface.
None of these gave problems when the guy installed it (plugged it in) in fry's; it immediately was able to pair with my BB 8900. Since upgrading the XPS to win 7 have not been able to pair it to anything. Is the bleeping bios that is no longer supported out-dated?

The netgear vdsl router supplied by the ISP will obviously have port forwarding but how do I cater for more than one LAN destination requiring port 80 traffic??Surely I dont have to have an in-block DNS.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI cannot install the drivers for my TrendNet TEW-423PI network interface card. I am running Windows 7 64-bit with an Intel i7 2700k and an Asus motherboard. I have tried installing with the card already in the computer - no luck. Card out of the computer install and then shut off and put in - no luck. The instructions that come with the card say that after you install the program that instantly runs from the CD provided you should shut off the computer and install the card and when you turn the computer back on the drivers will install automatically. It has failed to do so and although I pulled all possible drivers from TrendNet's site it still stubbornly refuses to even recognize that there are drivers for it to install.

I have downloaded all the most recent drivers for this motherboard. I'm running an EVGA NForce 680i SLI Motherboard (model# 122-CK-NF68). However the problem Im having is that in the Network Connection window there is no 'icon' to configure for my ethernet connection. I have looked at the Device Manager and ALL components are working properly. There are no 'X' or '?' labelled on any of the Network devices. I have done a ton of research on this Forum and have tried a dozen things and still can't seem to figure it out. I dont have intermediate syndrome so I'm not willing to take any chances with something I don't know.

A message comes up at the bottom of my screen that says 'local area connection. A network cable is unplugged'. It takes 15-20 seconds for the connection to be re-established.
I called my ISP and asked if there were any settings on my router I needed to change since the camera install but they told me 'no' and I should contact tech support for the camera.

This happens when you lose your operating and reinstall or up grade to AnyTHING other than what was originally installed, OR get the recommended updates from Microsoft. This is true for wired or wireless connections.To test, I connected a wired PC directly to my cable modem and was able to connect to all websites fine. I reinstalled win XP home and now have question marks beside Ethernet controller, Multimedia Audio controller, and PCI Input Device under the device manager. It shows that my Network adaptor is the 1394 Net Adapter. I have tried ipconfig and all it shows is Windows IP Configuration. no address or anyhting else. I am my ISP is Comcast with a cisco DPC3000 modem but they did not give me any drivers for this product. I have searched the dell website to find the drivers but am not really sure what i am looking for once i key in my service tag. I do have internet connection through my laptop which is a macbook and everything i load and transfer either doesn't have setup files or wont run properly on the dell unless i have internet acess.
