Unable To Connect To Router From One Of Laptop

Since recently I am no longer able to connect to my router from one of my laptops. The connection is failing wireless as well as by cable. My other two laptops are having no problem at all so I think it is a problem with the laptop.I check other posts and found I could do a TCP/IP reset so I have done that.If have executed these commands on a elevated command line:
- netsh winsock reset catalog
- netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log
- netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log
I have restared the laptop afterwards but the problem remains: I am unable to connect to the router.This is the output of the "ipconfig /all" command (command is ran while I've had only the adapter with the cable enabled, wireless adapter was disabled): [code]

I have a dell latitude d610 laptop...until last night, I had no problems connecting my laptop to the wireless router...then..I'm not sure what happened, but I can't connect anymore. My daughter has the same kind of laptop and has absolutely no problems with connecting...so, it has to be something with mine. It's like it doesn't know that there is a wireless connection available.

I am not able to connect my HP laptop (Windows Vista) to the internet via a wireless router/high speed internet.My internet service provider confirmed that it is a problem with my HP laptop.I have a Linksys router. My other laptop (Sony) connects fine.I have tried two browsers on my HP laptop to access the internet with no luck.My HP laptop does say that I am connected to the wireless network.

This was for a WRT160n v3.0.02 I looked up several suggestions online and decided to update the firmware to v3.0.03 This seemed to only make it worse as I could no longer connect, and when I turned the router off and back on it would allow me in for about a minute and drop me right away.I started tweaking with the settings, and came across some posts here such as this one, started tweaking with the channel settings and everything. Nothing. If anything I somehow made it worse since now instead of dropping repeatedly it wouldn't connect at all except for about a minute after restarting router, then it would drop completely (I would either get the limited access notification or I simply couldn't connect and windows said to unplug the access point. I recalled I had another Linksys router that I wasn't using in storage, a WRT54G2v 1.0.01 so I set that up, no problems... at first. All other devices picked it up right away, but once again, my new laptop decides it's too good for the freaking network and drops it repeatedly telling me there's a problem with the access point.
So at this point I'm thinking it might NOT be my network, but my wireless card or something, I uninstalled and reinstalled, updated drivers, (I use a Realtek RTL8723AE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC) I even came across this article and disabled browser service and NETBios (including all other devices on my network). It brought back the network on my laptop for a bit, only to smugly come crashing down again.

I am attempting to connect to a residential wireless network on a router that was installed up by an engineer this morning.When the engineer was here he connected an HP laptop using XP to the wireless router. At first there was an issue with the connection (seemingly the same error message I am getting now), he did something to the wireless settings on the laptop, which stupidly I didn't see, and it successfully connected.When I attempted to connect my laptop to the same wireless router I got the same error message:'Connection Unsuccessful'.I clicked Diagnose Problem and got this: 'This computer has got limited or no connectivity'.I first selected the 'Automatically get new IP settings for the network adapter' but this didn't solve the problem. I am having problems connecting to the internet. It has never done this and just started a week ago. I contacted my ISP and they told me it is not the modems fault. I have a modem and then it goes to a Trendnet 100mpbs Ethernet Switch. Then it goes to my primary computer and then to my laptop. They are all hard-wires. I contacted Acer and they said it wasn't a problem with the computer. When I look at the control panel it says "Unidentified Network" and has no other information than that. I already attempted to manually put in the IP I should be receiving from the modem, but that did not work either.

My laptop can see available networks, but is unable to connect to any of them.I have run Microsoft Security Essentials and the scan comes back fine, ran CC Cleaner as well as Malware Bytes and those scans both come back fine as well.I have also re-seated my wifi card, as well as attempted a TCP/IP stack repair option.However none of these fixed my issue. What could be preventing my laptop from connecting to a network? I have also tried to boot into Safe Mode w/ Networking, and the pc is unable to connect there either.I have also disabled all security on my router, it is just an open network no security, broadcasting the SSID.

I'm having a big problem with my connectivity. I can connect to the internet (a BT Home Hub router) using my ethernet cable but not using wireless. My computer is searching and finding wireless networks, but when I try to connect to my router, it says limited access/connectivity.
I haven't used my computer in quite a long time (7 months) as it stopped working and is miraculously working again now (huzzah!) but the wireless does not, when it was perfect previously.
I have run IPCONFIG/ALL and the details are below. This is done with the ethernet cable attached.

Last night i was changing some settings of my router(linksys WRT54G) trying to assign a gaming console a static ip. I thought i had succeeded and everything was working fine. 12 hours later, it appears everything can no longer connect. all the regular lights of the router are on, but my desktop pc and my wireless laptop seem unable to connect.

I own a HP pavilion dv7 laptop and I'm having trouble connecting to my home connection. My laptop connects to other connections but my desktop PC and gaming console are connecting to the "broken" internet just fine so I'm assuming it's the laptop.
I've tried unplugging the modem/router for minutes, uninstalling/reinstalling the network adapter device ((It now keeps coming up as "unidentified network" instead of the original name for the connection; Should I be concerned??)), and even just stopped using the laptop for a few days to see if somehow that would fix it.
I've troubleshot it and it says theres a problem with my access point/router but I don't see how that's the problem if everything else is working fine. I've spent 3 hours looking into solutions to this problem and I've come accross that the router may not be giving the laptop an IP to connect too but I'm still not sure how to fix this issue or if it's another issue all together.

I stumbled upon a problem which i cannot resolve, the situation is as folows:
A router (Netgear wgt624v3) is connected to the internet. My smartphone and every other wireless device I tested is able to connect to it but not my laptop. My laptop is able to connect to any other wireless network. I can however get acces to the web using an ethernet cable plugged into the router.
I already installed the newest driver for my wireless network card (Atheros AR5B93 Wireless Network Adapter) and I already upgraded the router to the newest firmware. I also disabled every security including the built in firewall. The strangest thing is that I can actually find the SSID of the network, I just cannot connect to it.
FYI: I use windows 7 64bit, laptop type is Packard Bell LM86

I have a compaq Presario CQ 60 windows vista 32 bit. I cannot connect to my centurytel westell 7500. I was able to connect to the westell versalink 327W but when I upgraded to the 7500 I havnt been able to connect wirelessly. I can with the Ethernet but not wirelessly. My wifi network adapter is a atheros AR5007 802.11b/g.

Ran a diagnostics test and failed the Ping test. I'm using the university resident internet. Called the tech place and they said they're investigating their connections and networking thing on their end. Just in case though, I want to know if there's actually something wrong with my laptop rather than their equipment.

My laptop is reading a full WiFi signal from my router. I am currently connected to the router via Ethernet on the same laptop. I've been reading tons of old threads to troubleshoot this. I'm at a loss. I have used this current networking hardware for more than a year without any problems. I do have a pretty old router but my iPod connects to the WiFi no problem at the moment. Here's what I've tried so far:

So i recently just obtained a Vaio Sony Windows 7 laptop. I turned it on and everything was working fine. I used the internet for about a minute then my internet disconnected and was unusable. I opened my desktop computer to see whats wrong but the connection there also stopped. I troubleshooted and it says i cannot communicate with Primary DNS server. My laptop (Lenovo g560) runs windows 7 Home ed. About 3 months ago my parents changed the wifi password and so my laptop was unable to connect to our home internet, and I never bothered to fix it. It's been 3 months and now when I need to connect, it won't. The network appears in the list of detected networks, i correctly typed in the new requirements of the SSID, and when i press 'connect' it instantly pops up with 'Windows was unable to connect to XXXXXXX'. The modem is from Netgear. I've tried switching the modem off and on, the wireless activation swith on my laptop off and on, the Fn+F5 for wireless and bluetooth off and on, reinstalled drivers etc.I know its not a problem with my modem as wifi works for other mobile devices (like my iphone, other laptops etc), and my laptop has no problem connecting to the uni wifi network. There only seems to be a problem with connecting my laptop to the home network. Perhaps i've tried fiddling around with the 'properties' of the network too much and I've accidentally changed some settings i was not supposed to? how to restore the wireless settings of this network 'back to default' or in the state it was when i was able to connect.

I was using the Internet fine lastnight switched on my acer laptop this morning and wasnt connected to the router. I tried connecting but it just fails. I'm still able to connect with my iPad and iPod. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the network adapter however this fails to successfully install. I've searched for hours but can't find a solution. I'm also unable to reset the router etc because I live in china and the router is in a roommates room whose door is locked.

I provide support for a small business network. ISP: Silo Wireless (wireless point to point with ISP) Router: Cisco RV220W Wireless-N Network Security Firewall
The router is configured with two wireless access points with SSIDs: "abracadabra" and "abracadabra-guest". The only difference between these two wireless networks is their passcode. Up until now I have had no problem connecting devices to either wireless network.
My problem lies with an HP Pavilion laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit that I'm trying to connect to the "abracadabra" wireless network.
Network and Sharing Center shows "Identifying" for a while and then shows "Unidentified network" with no local or internet access. Wireless network connection status says that Media State is Enabled, Speed is 54Mbps and Signal Quality is Excellent. Network Connection Details shows that DHCP is Enabled but it's getting an Autoconfiguration IPv4 address of 169.254.107.138...
The laptop is running ESET Nod 32 Antivirus 5 and Windows Firewall and I've disabled Windows Firewall on the Wireless Network Connection. I've also tried re-installing the wireless nic driver, it's running the latest from Windows Updates.
what really gets me is that the laptop can connect to "abracadabra-guest" fine and access the internet

how to use a computer in the time before Windows, comfortable with using command prompt. Have fixed many issue over the years with old and crappy computers, through research. Not very familiar with wireless connections. Last week laptop started freezing on Windows load, going automatically to safe mode. If I restart the computer after loading in safe mode, Windows opens fine the second time. Have tried stopping all other programs from loading at start up. If I do a system restore, everything works fine for a few days, then starts freezing on Windows load again. When Window does load I get the application error: The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0150002) click ok to close. but can still log in to Windows. Also, When I plug my cell phone, via USB to computer it charges fine and can upload and download between the phone and laptop, however, if I connect a (USB) thumb drive I cannot open the folder, save to it or open from it. This is the issue I wish to fix first so I don't have to keep switching between my ancient and slow CPU and my Laptop trying to fix the above problem(s): Laptop recently stopped connecting to home WiFi (automatically or manually.) Ran troubleshooters, suggested I do a full power off the router and turn it back on. Did that still not connecting. Did a full power off of laptop and modem and router and restarted everything. Still doesn't work. Used manual Diagnostic tool and it fails the association test, suggests that I check the profile. I don't know much about wireless as I said, so I do not know what profile I need to check or where it is located.The laptop does connect sporadically to the internet at home, via WiFi, for a few minutes at a time on its own, according to the wireless network connections. During this time I see one of two messages in wireless network connections: Unidentified network or limited access. If I go into the network sharing centre it says I am connected to an unidentified public network and shows that this network is not connecting to the internet. If I use the manual diagnostic tool at this time it passes the association test but fails the ping test.
Distance from the router does not seem to make a difference.Often when it is disconnected I cannot even see my router in the list of available wireless network connections.I can connect wireless to the router from my phone and have had no problems even while the laptop is unable to connect and the old CPU I am currently on, which is a wired connection, has had no trouble either. Other things I tried:I've scanned for hardware changes in my network connections: none and tried updating my driver software: nothing to update all are enabled.
