Internet printing makes it possible for client computers running Microsoft Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 1 (SP1) to use printers located anywhere in the world by sending print jobs using Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP).Additionally, computers running Windows XP can use Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) or a Web peer server to create a Web page that provides information about printers and provides the transport for printing over the Internet. We have a small network with 2 printers. (Brother hl5370) and everything on the network works well. I even have one of the printers setup wirelessly and it's printing fine. But I go on the road and generate orders. I need to be able to print the invoices at the warehouse where one of the printers is located so the invoice gets shipped immediately instead of me waiting to get home, print the invoice and pkging slip and then ship it.
I almost always have net access via the hotel's internet or my cell phone, so that's not the problem. I just need to install a printer on my laptop that when I print to it, it sends the document thru the net to the home network and prints to one of the printers.I installed the above mentioned ISS, but have no idea how to use it. Yes, my IP is dynamic, but it never changes unless I reboot the modem so I'm probably okay. And I know there are services out there that can email me my IP so that should not be a problem.

how can i remove webauth files from WLC?I have few versions of login.tar file used for web-authentication. After uploading a new login.tar file, the wlc still show old webauth bundle files. I tried to remove customized webauth login from wireless LAN, issue clear webauth-bundle and show>custom-web webauth-bundle WebAuth Bundle does not contain any files but when i upload new login.tar that does not include files from previous login.tar, i still get the old webauth. Is it possible to delete extracted webauth files from the controller using CLI?
WLC is running 7.0.116.0 code.

My USB Belkin Wireless G Network Adapter seems to disconnect whenever I remove another USB device (usually a memory stick) from the PC.The problem started when I accidentally updated the driver via Windows. It didn't seem to work at all with this updated driver and I couldn't roll back or do a system restore to fix it. I'd done this before and ended up doing a complete re-install of Win 7. This time I did an upgrade install and the driver problem was cured.I'm running a HP XW8400 with Win 7 64 Pro which has been faultless for the 5 years I've had it.The only other change I've made recently is that I've stopped using a D-Link USB hub and started using the USB connectors on the HP LP2465 monitor. This only affects the wireless and no other USB devices.
When it disconnects, Win troubleshooting goes through the motions and reverts to LAN and doesn't see the wireless USB at all. This also happens if I don't use the troubleshooter.Device manager shows the driver to be working, but the wireless USB doesn't function even if I connect it directly to a USB port. The router is still working as all other devices in the house are connected. The only way around it seems to be a re-boot, but when this fault happens the PC gets stuck at "Shutting Down". Without the fault, re-boot or shut down works fine. When it happens I have to power off and on. This usually works fine but every now and then I notice the device driver for the Belkin is disabled.I've found a workaround in that I can take out the Belkin USB before removing another USB device. After the USB stick or whatever is removed if I then reconnect the wireless USB it reconnects fine.

I have a Linksys E3000 and I see the gateway (192.168.1.1) listed in my DNS server addresses.
1. Why is this listed here in the DNS?
2. How do I remove it from my DNS servers or stop the router from inserting it into my DNS server list?

I set up a linksys e2500 router with name "mynetwork" and WPA2 password.
The network works fine, my laptop connects securely to it.
But when I View Available Wireless Networks , I see a second , unsecure network named "mynetwork-guest" to which my laptop will also connect with no credentials (not sure how that network got there).
How can I find and delete that unsecure network? When I go into my router setup, I only see mynetwork, not mynetwork-guest If it is of any use here is the IP information for both:
The settingd for mynetwork:
IP Address: 192.168.1.133
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
The setting for mynetwork-guest:
IP Address: 192.168.33.137
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.33.1

My Linksys WRT150N recently gave up on me and started to give me weird issues and started to disconnect (all the ports including wired & wireless) anywhere from 3 to infinite number of times per day and my only solution was to remove the power chord and connect it. I tried all possible ways possible including resetting the router, stopping SSID broadcast, removing the encryption, etc, but non worked. As the router was out of warranty my only option was to take it to the dealers where they told me it would take 3 weeks to fix and God knows how much they would have charged me. But after flashing the firmware with the dd-wrt it has been almost 24 hours without a single problem and now I have the cool option of seeing who is connected to the router, etc. This is a MUST for every Linksys owner.
1. Reset the router using 30-30-30 and waited for 2 minutes for things to come back 2 normal
2. Flashed the router with "dd-wrt.v24_mini_generic.bin"
3. Reset again using 30-30-30 and wait again4. Flashed the router with " dd-wrt.v24_std_generic.bin"5.

how to safely remove the WiSM2 from the Catalyst 6500 series switch? According to the documentation "Catalyst 6500 Series Wireless Services Module 2 Installation and Verification Note":
To remove the WiSM2, perform these steps:
Step1 Shut down the module by one of these methods: In privileged mode from the router prompt, enter the hw-mod module mod shutdown command. NoteIf you enter this command to shut down the module, you must enter the following commands in global configuration mode to restart (power down, and then power up) the module: Router# no power enable module modRouter# power enable module mod If the module does not respond to any commands, press the SHUTDOWN button located on the front panel of the module.
Step2 Verify that the WiSM2 shuts down. Do not remove the module from the switch until the POWER LEDis off.
But, in the case of Step1 (1st methods) I do not see a option "shutdown" in the command "hw-mod module 3"...
All I prompted to enter is: c6500#hw-module module 3 ?
boot Specify boot options for the module through Power Management Bus control register
reset Reset specified component
simulate Simulate options for the module Is it hidden options?
IOS version of c6500 is 12.2(33)SXJ1
In the case of Step2 (2nd methods) there is not any button on the front panel of the module?
And yet, it is better to remove the module configuration manually or use the command module clear-config prior to removing the module?

When a guest user first trys to access the "guest" WLAN, they are presented with a "certificate page" before the web athentication page / login is presented. The WLC forces an internal redirect to https://1.1.1.1 causing the certificate page to appear. Can this be bypassed? I am runiing 5508 with 7.0.220.0.

My question relates to Facebook and the Internet in general. There are some very inappropriate pictures of me that are posted on a fake facebook user account. Whoever posted these pictures has stolen the identity of a guy that I went to school with. The Police are involved. I tried contacting Facebook multiple times, but I had no such luck. Is there any way that I can find out the ISP of this fake account, find out if these pictures were uploaded to the www. and request for them to be removed? What other actions can I take to get these pictures taken down. It has now become very serious, and these pictures are from 6 years ago when I was a little immature teenager.
