My wifi used to run fine. Now there is a yellow little hazard sign next to the wifi bars and the PC says: Limited connectivity to belkin.758". I cannot connect to the internet!
View 3 RepliesI'm having problem with the router WRT54G2, My laptop - winodws 7- connetcs to the wireless.Then it asks me if I wanna configure the router I saw yes, I give a name to the wireless connection and a password, everything works and come to the end, after that I connect to my wireless connection and a little yellow triangle appears -down right on the signal bar. I resetted the router already and update the firmware.Still won't work. I thought maybe I need to put a static IP but I won't find the DSN Code.

Anyways when my mom first gave it to me it had an internet problem. Said limited connectivity and would not connect. Someone told me to restart the computer and the internet magically started working again. It didn't work this time.

I try to reconfigre it & also in factory default mode it show same.
I am frequently disconnected from the internet, I would say about every 30 minutes.. In the bottom right of my screen where the internet connection thing is it has a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark on it and says "no internet access"
View 19 Replies View RelatedI have the M2N32-SLI Deluxe/Wireless Edition motherboard with onboard wireless. I built this computer myself. I did a fresh install of Windows 7. I installed the wireless drivers from the asus website by putting them onto a flash drive from my laptop and installing them on my desktop.On my wireless signal, I get the yellow triangle with a ! in the middle. Nothing else has been installed. I am at a loss of what to do to get rid of this and just get my wireless to work. We have 3 other laptops and one other desktop that work fine with no issues, but this one desktop seems to have problems.

It is heating up quickly and I'm seeing ads in text in websites that don't do that (cbc, reddit, wikipedia).I had this issue a couple of months ago but Spybot seemed to fix the issue.Recently I noticed my computer was heating faster (and hotter) than usual so I ran a search and it said no threats were found. Not too longer after I start noticing the ads again so I know there is a problem. I have ran the search twice since then and still nothing. I was advised to use ccleaner,malwarebytes, and Super Anti-Spyware. It removed one other threat but the problem was still there. I then started using combofix, but I did not like the look of it so I stopped that scan. It seemed a little sketchy.
My old laptop (the one I'm on now) and my girlfriend's laptop work fine. I connected it with the Ethernet cord and that didn't change anything.I have Windows 7. It's on a 2010 Samsung (I'm not very tech savvy so I'm not sure about all the other details). I primarily used Firefox, but I just switched to Googlechrome this week (well after the problems began).
Where internet connection strength is shown in main screen there is a yellow triangle with a black exclamation Mark in it covering the signal strength icon. I have tried contacting my Internet provider who could not fix. They have sent a new modem but still same issue on pc. I have several games consoles and also have an iPad and iPhone and Internet is working on these however my neighbour tried to use her laptop in my house and has the same issue.

My computer is connected to the BEFSR81. I can not access the setup page (http;//192.168.2.1) from my computer, maybe I am not suppossed to be able to do that. The Laptop sees a Linksys wireless connection, but there is a yellow exclamation point over it.

It says that there is limited access. I tried resetting the router, checked all the plugs, restarted my laptop., all to no avail. I tried connecting using my phone, and I can go online so the problem lies with my laptop.
I checked my device manager and under Networks, the 6TO4 adapters has a yellow triangle with exclamation point. With a code 10 error. I tried to run 'check for solutions" but I can't connect to the internet. Using my phone, I saw websites dealing with the same problem. I uninstalled all the 6TO4 adapters along with the isatap adapter because it also has the same problem except that it's reporting error 31. Then I restarted my laptop.I can connect to the internet but only through LAN. I still can't connect through my wifi. I tried to reinstall the 6TO4 and isatap but it still shows the same message.
My desktop is fitted with a Belkin 54G PCI card which I have never had problems with before. My desktop is in the basement and due to poor signal issues another router has been set up in the basement. I had to constantly repair the connection to the previous wireless network but even though the signal is much stonger with the new router and network I am having even more issues with not only having a repair the local only connection issues but also with 'limited connectivity' and the only way to resolve it is to restart my computer.
View 3 Replies View RelatedJust bought a new Cisco e1200 router last week. When i first hooked it up, it was giving me extremely low (significantly lower than my old router) downloading speeds. After switching the networking mode from "mixed' to "Wireless-G only", the speeds went back to normal. I tried "Wireless-N only", but it didn't work after that. Seemingly, my computer does not work with Wirless-N?
It's been running okay now, but 2 things happen occasionally: When playing a game, I experience lag for a period of 5 minutes, or sometimes 20 minutes. It goes away on its own. Never happened with my old router. When surfing the internet, pages will refuse to load. The connection bars shown at the bottom right hand corner of my computer display a yellow triangle with an exclamation point. This goes away on its own after about 4-5 minutes. These problems come randomly every 3-4 or days, maybe a bit longer.
I just purchased the N600 DB Wireless Router with my ISP (Road Runner) I can connect wireless thru a laptop and a tablet, but when I try to connect wired(LAN) thru desktop (XP Pro SP3) I receive the Limited or No Connectivity. If I bypass the router and plug straight into the cable modem I can connect without issue. I have tried resetting the router, modem and computer to no avail.

I just recently bought a linksys E900 wireless-N300 Router. I installed the software on the disc and followed the on screen instructions. When I attempt to use an ethernet cable as I did with my last router, it won't work. I get that yellow triangle icon indicating no internet access. I tried using a wireless hub to connect wirelessly...I connect, but no internet access. My PC knows its there, suggests that I reset the modem, doesn't work.

My housemates are on the internet fine on their laptops and my xbox live is working, so it's clearly an issue with my laptop. It connects and disconnects repetitively.i have a 3mobile wireless dongle. Other laptops stay connected no problem and i am always beside the dongle with full coverage. if i click the network icon several times on the bottom right it reconnects for a few seconds again,I have discovered that if i run 'funkypool' in the background the connection generally stays, but not 100%, but 90% anyway.this may possibly be because its java and always refreshing itself i think. it doesn't matter whether or not im plugged in or using battery but i did change the controls for automatically putting the wireless to sleep mode so i doubt that unless ive done it wrong.

My internet used to work just fine, but after I reinstalled my OS a couple of months ago I started having a funny problem. My internet will randomly stop working, I'll visit facebook, check a blog, and then i'll try to check my email and the page won't load. Then my internet won't work again until I reset my computer. The weirdest part is that Windows acts there's nothing the matter. The little icon in the notification bar still says it's connected and if I click repair, windows tells me there's nothing to repair. My wife has a different laptop and she's still able to access the internet fine after I've been kicked off. I've checked for a router firmware update and it's up to date. I bought a usb wireless-n adapter thinking my laptop's adapter might be bad and that didn't work. I considering buying a new router, but I'm not confident that will solve the problem since my wife's internet is still fine and because my internet works again when I reset, so it's not like the router is blocking my IP right?

To cut a long story short, it's a bunch of XP SP2 and SP3 machines with only some of them having these issues. The network consists of two switches and one router with integrated modem and wireless. Internet access is established over that router/ ADSL modem.I have drawn out all the cabling and made all the connections myself, I don't doubt network related hardware one bit. Basically, I had the problem on two PCs, I tested connectivity on that cable with a laptop which didn't have any problems connecting to the network. I need to add a new pc to the network and here is where the problem starts.I have a cable from a HUB in that office which has a splitter 1 way goes to a PC the other is empty. At first i tried connecting the other PC from that splitter but i get the Limited or no Connectivity message on both PCs. If i connect only one of them to the splitter the connection works fine.Now i tried with a HUB, made a Crossover cable from the splitter to the HUB in the WAN port, same deal both PCs get Limited ot no Connectivity. THe strange thing is that if i connect only one via the HUB the same thing happens.I am really out of ideas, my only option left is to connect the PC from the main HUB which means allot of cable posing.

I installed xp in it because I don't have any wireless network adapters that work with linux or Windows 7.I am using an old Linksys WUSB11 Ver 2.6. USB adapter.The computer does have connectivity if I plug in an ethernet cord from the router. Worked fine, fast, was able to install Sp3, etc.I can't get the wireless to work. I get excellent connection strength, but can't actually do anything with it.Since this is XP and I haven't messed around with XP network settings for years, I think I got a bit rusty and spoiled with Windows 7.

I use google chrome and when I try to open a page it says unable to connect to proxy server.
