I am using the cisco linksys E1200 WiFi router. when ever I connect my laptop to WiFi, its show Limited connectivity/Yellow Caution sign when connected.
I try to reconfigre it & also in factory default mode it show same.
My wifi used to run fine. Now there is a yellow little hazard sign next to the wifi bars and the PC says: Limited connectivity to belkin.758". I cannot connect to the internet!

When connecting wirelessly, it works for about 2 minutes, then I get no connection and a yellow ! in the connection setting icon. No wireless internet will work until I power down and restart the router. Then the same problem continues.Today when trying it, it won't even connect for a few minutes. It shows as "connected" on my laptop but it has the yellow ! and will not access the internet. So I am no longer ever able to connect wirelessly. I've done a hard reset already.

It has been 4 months my Router " Wag 120n ". The Router Gives Me A yellow Sign on the network Icon Sying " No network Access " and the wireless Led is blinking with 1 sec interval So
- I cant open Router's Home Page
- there is No ping to 192.168.1.1 " General Failure or Host unreachable " response
- The Only way to get connected again is to replug the router from electricity , it works normally for 5 min and the Yellow Sign shows up again
the Solutions I Tried to fix that up :-
1) Hard reset the 30/30/15 reset
2) Firmware re-flashing
3) Trying an old firmware 1.0.0.12 instead of 1.0.0.16
but nothing of those worked the Only thing that worked for like 20 min the firmware upgrade but after that the problem came up again the problem happens to all Computers on the network wired or on wireless happens on all kind of operations systems win7, xp, vista, (Android for mobiles).
so the problem started with the normal limited connectivity, i was given the laptop and tried to rectify the problem using ip resets renew, release, ipvc reset, winsock reset and it wouldnt budge,if i leave the ipv4 settings to automatic it will not display the ssid of the router, it will connect to it but display unidentified network, if i enter the ip address dns e.t.c then it will display the router but it will still not connect to the internet, i have tried updating drivers, removing all drivers and letting windows rediscover and install driver.i have also tried installing an internet dongle, the laptop will pickup the dongle, install the software but then display no connection.
I then tried installing a belkin wirless adapter but since the software is only up to vista i dont believe it has worked. ( everything installed ok but still will not connect to the internet) i am also finding out that it is not getting proxy details either. and on occasions i will get limited connectivity or the adapter will refuse to connect to the router.i have run xirrus wifi inspector on both my laptop (working) and his laptop (not working)the signal strength runs from about -44db too -50db which is strong enough but the automatic ip address differ alot according too xirrus these are the results

I recently moved into a new apartment and when I connect to the router using the wireless. I get limited connectivity, it accepts the security key but can not get the internet. Connect wirelessly to another router within range and can connect to the internet via that. Also if I connect a ethernet cable to the router it gives me internet access. I couldn't see any settings in the routers menu that would prevent me from connecting(but im probably being blind).
Two other guys I'm sharing the apartment with can connect to the internet wirelessly with no issues. The router is a Thomson TWG870UIR.

i have a windows 7 laptop that ive just recently purchased. The wireless Connectivity was working fine last week, now suddenly it just wont work. I believe that its due to a program i recently installed that goes by the name of Connectify. I have uninstalled it yet still whenever i try connecting to any router wirelessly, the PC displays limited or no connectivity. On the other hand When i connect my laptop to a router via an Ethernet cable everything is fine. In case you are wondering, im currently using a 3g usb wireless stick to surf the internet, but i dont want to use it as i already have a router to use.

My chrome browser got hijacked by the search conduit virus. So, I cleaned it with AdW cleaner. My internet connection was ok then. After that, I ran ccleaner and cleared the registry. Now, I find that I have trouble even connecting to my wireless - it says limited connectivity or no connectivity. The other comp's in my house can connect to the internet fine. I have not tried any solutions yet as it usually goes away if I reboot and if that does not do it taking it to work (where it works FINE) and then back home ususlly fixes the problem. Last night I was able to go online and google something but when I clicked on a link it did nothing for several minutes and THEN told me I had 'Limited or no conectivity' where just a few minutes before I was 'connected' signal strength 'excellent'. View 7 Replies View RelatedI manage the I.T. department for an ambulance service. We have 12 ambulances all equipped with Verizon 4G LTE Samsung hotspot cards. [code] There are laptops in each of the ambulances that connect to the wireless cards in the ambulance via DHCP. I get frequent problems when the vehicle get close to each other of them jumping from one card to another... which is not a huge problem, except when it happens the computer will have a "limited connectivity" to the internet. This sometimes will resolve after 3-5 minutes on its own, or if i disconnect from the wireless card and reconnect it will resolve, or sometimes by rebooting the wireless card it will resolve.We also need the ability to move the laptops from one ambulance to another as well so we need to have this flexibility.would I be better off establishing the same IP address to each of the wireless cards, still keeping different SSID's and different channel #'s and then hard code the IP address into the laptop instead of using DHCP to connect? My goal is to eliminate the limited connectivity issue.

i have built my PC from the ground up with what little budget i had, upon completion i started it up and installed my wireless adapter from linksis and i could not connect i went on my netbook (what i am on now) and checked my router and i didn't have any from of connection with my PC so i tried a wired connection and still no joy i have tried a different adapter a Belkin one i have even switched the router
View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently purchased the e1200 and setup was a breeze but I'm having difficulty with the primary computer (windows 7) connected to it, by wire, haven't used any wireless yet. When the computer is put to sleep through the night, I have to restart the computer the next morning to get a signal but works fine if put to sleep during the day and awakened the same day to use the connection. Have a second computer wired directly to the modem with vista that doesn't have this issue.
