View 1 RepliesI discovered that an Ad. mail had been sent without my knowlwdge from my computer to all of my "Hotmail" contacts which I had built up over twelve years of computing. I discovered this when I found a substantial number in my 'inbox' as delivery failures.I do not have wi-fi or wireless and there is no other with access to my computer. How was this possible as it is most embarrassing to say the least of it. All of the mails are links to a website or websites that promote "earning money from home."

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an wireless issue with my laptop (asus). It connects to my router (linksys WAG120N) but then won't connect to the internet. I have tried everything I can think of, including disabling all antivirus software, removing wireless network and allowing auto reinstall, obtaining DNS servers automatically, etc. I have checked the IP addresses with Linksys support and all indicators suggest that it should connect. My laptop does connect perfectly well when directly connected to the router via ethernet cable. Plus my iMac connects wirelessly to the router. I run XP sp 3 on the laptop. The wireless adapter is an Atheros AR5007EG, driver version 7.6.0.239.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi've got a 48 port switch that's hidden somewhere that I can't find. So far, I've found 2 other switches in the hanging ceiling so there is a good chance it could be there. How I can see what devices are directly attached to this switch(I've access to it's management functions)? I figure if I can find a directly attached computer I can at least just do a wire trace.
