I have been trying to delete unwanted contacts from my contact list. I have done all of the things on your list and nothing works. Your old system was so much better'than this new yahoo mail. Why did you change something that worked, and was so much easier to understand?
I discovered that an Ad. mail had been sent without my knowlwdge from my computer to all of my "Hotmail" contacts which I had built up over twelve years of computing. I discovered this when I found a substantial number in my 'inbox' as delivery failures.I do not have wi-fi or wireless and there is no other with access to my computer. How was this possible as it is most embarrassing to say the least of it. All of the mails are links to a website or websites that promote "earning money from home."
I have an wireless issue with my laptop (asus). It connects to my router (linksys WAG120N) but then won't connect to the internet. I have tried everything I can think of, including disabling all antivirus software, removing wireless network and allowing auto reinstall, obtaining DNS servers automatically, etc. I have checked the IP addresses with Linksys support and all indicators suggest that it should connect. My laptop does connect perfectly well when directly connected to the router via ethernet cable. Plus my iMac connects wirelessly to the router. I run XP sp 3 on the laptop. The wireless adapter is an Atheros AR5007EG, driver version 18.104.22.168.
i have a computer that is on my home network that i am trying to disable. the person no longer lives with us and it is still showing that there computer is connected to our WiFi ? our internet provider is At&t.
A particular & ungreatful person abused my laptop to the point where I had to install a password. I had to perform all kinda of removal actions but I just noticed in my network domain that his name followed by "PC" & under "media devices" & "network infrastructure" contains his name again w/ PC & devices called [TV]UNE40ES6100.I am using the program's wireless service which I am allowed-to. I just want to remove this person from my laptop. It won't delete when r. clicking. I have win 7 and use this laptop mainly for my online school & email.
This is just a tip that we used on our controllers that I wanted to pass along. We were having issues with unwanted access points associating to our controllers. We had a stack of older 1242s that came up missing and hit our network. On way we came up with to prevent this was to number all of our wlans above I'd # 16 on the controller. By default the default ap group allows all wlans from 1 to 16. By starting with 17 we are not allowing any SSIDs in the default group. All if our production access points are in their own ap groups. Any access point that hits our controllers that has not been configured with the correct ap group name will be in the default ap group and will not be servicing any SSIDs.I know there are other ways to set this up but this was a tricky way for us to set it up and see who calls about there wireless not working.
i don't know how I have done this but I have managed to connect my partners laptop to my network list on my new Toshiba laptop (don't know if make or modal matters) this seemed to have appeared whilst uploading and fetching photo's with skydrive, how do I get him off my network list???
We're using ISE's Sponsor/Guest Portal function. We customized the english default lanuage template. But we do not want to translate/customize all default language templates. How can I disable/remove the unwanted templates? (The delete button is disabled for them)Otherwise our users would be able to select templates that are not customized.
I'm configuring CoPP for an ASR 1001 router with consolidated IOS XE Version: 03.07.01.S. And I'm trying to use 'DROP' command under policy map to drop.un wanted traffic. But the drop command is not listed.
i created a new wireless network by going to network instrastructure and right clicking on pk5000z ap and configure. then set up a network pop up asking for 8 digit pin from the router label i typed the pin in. now that i made a new network the new network shows up instead of my old network.i cant connet to my old network even if i type it in manually. ive tried to delete the new network in manage wireless networks. but it still shows up.
I have 3 versions of Net framework(2.0sp2, 3.5sp1, and 4.0) on my system Secunia wants all 3 versions updated.I am not for sure where they came from.can I delete NF2.0sp2 and 3.5sp1 and simply run with 4.0?
I have a wireless PC laptop and a router that works fine. When I change rooms, there's competition from my neighbor's router and I want to remove it. When I "view wireless networks" I see their connection. When I go to "change the order of preferred networks" (hoping to delete it from there) it doesn't show up. If I go to "change advanced settings" I end up in the same place not showing the neighbor's wireless.
Have a long-time friend who is almost totally computer illiterate to whom I provide tech support. He uses MSN Explorer (MSNE) thru Verizon.net, which has been free up 'til now, but beginning March 1, 2012, Verizon is dropping it. I advised him to drop MSNE and switch to FREE Outlook Express (computer OS is XP) or Thunderbird. But as you might expect, he is averse to change. To keep MSNE, he had to subscribe to it and pay the $9.95 annual fee for the basic version, which he did today. However, he has apparently also had, but never used, a Hotmail address, and on the MSNE e-mail page, it shows in the left panel like a separate account. He wants to remove it from MSNE. I know nothing about MSNE; am used to Outlook Express and Thunderbird, both of which have simple access to accounts, including deleting them. I can find nothing in MSNE about deleting the Hotmail account. So how can he delete the link to his Hotmail account?
How can I remove the PIN code that's been configured in my computer. My computer shares in a home network that bumps everyone out whenever I go into the internet including the owner of the BELKIN network router to whom we are connected to the internet. I mistakenly connected into the network via the router's PIN Code resulting in my computer being configured and the rest of computers in the network being bumped out. Instead of just typing the passphrase/password I typed in the text box the PIN code for the Belkin router when it asked for the PIN code instead of just connecting into the internet without necessarily configuring my computer for the BELKIN router? how to remove the PIN code in my computer so that I do not bump everyone in the network.
