Linksys WAG120N - Wireless Contacts To Router But Not Internet

I have an wireless issue with my laptop (asus). It connects to my router (linksys WAG120N) but then won't connect to the internet. I have tried everything I can think of, including disabling all antivirus software, removing wireless network and allowing auto reinstall, obtaining DNS servers automatically, etc. I have checked the IP addresses with Linksys support and all indicators suggest that it should connect. My laptop does connect perfectly well when directly connected to the router via ethernet cable. Plus my iMac connects wirelessly to the router. I run XP sp 3 on the laptop.The wireless adapter is an Atheros AR5007EG, driver version 7.6.0.239.

I need setting up two networks to use the same internet connection.Network A is on IP range 192.168.1.x and Network B is on 192.168.0.x and the firewall with internet connection is on Network A at 192.168.1.2.Network B must be on diffrent IP range that Network A can not access it, but the two networks are linked with a Linsys Cisco WAG120N router.Network A can access the internet fine as use gateway ip 192.168.1.2 but how do i get Network B to use that same gateway/internet connection?

I have linksys WAG120N model with 20.0.0.2024 LAN IP and i connected it with SpeedTouch 510 dsl router(IP 10.0.0.138) that act as gateway to internet , i have configure 1st ethernet port on my linksys asWan with static ip 10.0.0.10024 ,10.0.0.138 G.W & configure DHCP in it, the problem that i can't access to my linksys web interface (ip 20.0.0.20 or 10.0.0.100)via 10.0.0.0 network.

My WAG120N wireless router disconnects every hour, precisely at the same time. This problem has started a few days ago, until then everything was fine.When the connection is gone, the "Internet" light goes off, the other lights remain on. For example, it disconnects at 07:30. It takes a minute or two to reconnect. Then it disconnects at 08:31. It reconnects, and then disconnects at 09:32.. and so on.Here are the things that I have tried (with my limited knowledge.. I'm not good with technology):- Turned the power on/off. No matter what time I do this at, the router disconnects at the same time again. For example, if it last disconnected at 07:30, and I turn it off and on at 7:50, it still disconnects at 08:31.- I tried resetting it, by pushing and holding the reset button on the back for 30-60 seconds (did it several times). Reconfigured the router (manually, not from a backup config file). Same situation as above, disconnects at the same time as always.
- I upgraded the IOS to v1.00.16, which I found here: [URL] reset and then reconfigured again. Still it didn't work.- Looked in the configuration pages for any values that resemble a 60 minute time span, and changed them. Only thing I found was the security key renewal period. Or was I sold a faulty product?

I have my internet coming into my WAG120N and going out wirelessly. I want to setup a wireless bridge between this and an E1500, so I can connect my TV to the E1500 (via an ethernet cable) and have it access the internet. Unfortunatly I can run a cable from the WAG120N to where the TV is. So it I can get the E1500 wirelessly bridged to the WAG120N? I have updated the firmware ont he E1500 to get Bridging support, but from what I can tell it only provides bridging via an ethernet cable. Is there away to bridge wirelessly?

I have been using it since approx 6months ago. Previously it was working well except for some major signal issues. However, 3 days ago it decided to go haywire. 1) It does not connect to the internet 2) It does not detect/connect to the computer when LAN cable is plugged in (does not load in 192.168.1.1) 3) I have tried resetting the router many times and even holding the reset button for 30 secs and switching off and switching on but to no avail. 4) I have had a linksys live chat with Johnel and he determined that it may be a possible hardware problem 5) Current Status of the Router: It makes no attempt to establish any connection/load whenever turned on, as seen when no lights are blinking when switched on. Upon switching on, Power Light becomes Red and Internet Light becomes Red and the middle Refresh Button become Red. 6) I have tried installing the driver for the router but there is no way I can install the driver because the computer does not detect that the router is connected What can I do about these? 1) Can I get a replacement of a different model? This router has been giving me problems since Day 1 2) I am seriously considering switching my service provider from M1 to Starhub. If that is the case, is there any way I can be replaced with a Cable Modem instead of ADSL Modem?

I'm trying to use my WAG120N router as a modem only/Bridged Mode and I've managed to enter all my settings needed on the WAG120N which is the Encapsulation to Bridged Mode Only, QoS to UBR, Type Of Connection to LLC, VPI and VCI to 0 and 35, DSL Modulation to Multi mode.On the EA4500's end I've entered my Usrname and password in the Internet settings and configured for PPPoE.

I am using WAG120N, and it keeps disconnected from internet randomly, normally between 5-10 minutes. The thing is, when it is disconnected, the adsl lamp is still on, so I think that it is not the network problem. When internet lamp turns off , I try to turn off the device (or unplug the phone cable), then turn it on again (or re-plug the cable), and it will work for certain minutes, then gets disconnected again. I already upgraded the firmware to v 1.00.12.

I recently got a Linksys WAG120n wireless modem but I have a problem with its Wireless.whenever I want to connect to the wireless of the modem I have to reboot the modem. or I cannot connect to it or if I connect I do not have internet access the cable LAN interface of the modem is working is working properly.I used Mixed (b/g/n) as network mode and wpa2/psk as authentication mode with using preshared key.and the channel is 11. no matter if I enable MAC filtering for wireless or not it is just the same.my laptop is a HP G42 with a Ralink 3090 wireless card and I have installed the latest manufacturer driver of the wireless Card.but it is not working .even sometimes laptop cannot find the linksys modem until I reboot the modem.as I have found there is no newer firmwire on cisco site for this modem to upgrade.

I have a wag120n ADSL modem. When I turn on the modem, after about 30 min to 1 hour DSL LED light flashing and then internet LED light turn off, and disconnect from internet. And modem does not connecting to internet until I turn off and turn on again the modem. I check with other modem it is working fine and DSL line is not the problem. Also I installed the latest firmware and that not solved the problem.

I am using wag120n modem router but is confused abt how to setup it's wireless security.The wireless securit setting recommended in tutorial given here is very different from what is given in my routrs setting up page.
I don't know how to handle the key renewal option.If i leave it as 3600 seconds does that mean i have to enter a new key in my wireless device connected to the router after every 1 hour?

I will just explain my setup:
I have a ADSL Huwavi modem by my ISP installed at my place.. Now the wireless from that device is very bad.. So I purchased WAG120N to setup a daisy-chain kind of setup in my other bedroom. I also put another D-link DIR-600 in between to give a connection to the first floor (via Ethernet cable).
So my huwavi is the ISP device, then a LAN from it goes to the dlink internet (WAN) port. then one cable from the d-link LAN port to the LAN1 of WAG120N and another upstairs.
Now all of this was working perfectly.. I put same SSIDs and Pwds on both ISP router and WAG120N and i was getting seamless net..
Now yesterday we removed the ISP modem to do some shifting.. Upon reconnecting, the ISP modem, Dlink work as before, but the WAG120N refuses to connect to the net.. it shows DSL down and doesn't access the www.
What I felt is that since i changed LAN ports on my ISP device and dlink, the static IP settings on the WAG120N should be changed.. i modified it, set to to point to the dlink for internet and huwavie for DHCP.. yet nothings happening..
I even connected the WAG120N directly to the Huwavie, yet it fails to connect to the net..

I have the cisco WAG120N router. In order to avoid constant radiation I would like to be able to connect my computer and router using an ethernet cable and if possible disconnect and use it wireless when I need more than one computers or netbooks to be connected to the internet. I tried to connect my computer with the router using an ethernet cable but I realized that I continued to have the wireless network on.

Recently I shifted to ADSL2+ Internet broadband.So purchased "CISCO Linksys WAG120N" router as my firewall hardware( FortiGate60) had no any port to connect to ADSL.Now I'm accessing internet throug the above Linksys router and do not use the firewall as I don't know how to configure the firewall to get the internet access through firewall from the router.My earlier broadband service was directly connected to the firewall's WAN port as it was compatible.configure the firewall to access the internet from the router through the firewall.

I am using linksys cisco wag120n adsl2 modem router.When I start the router the internet speed seems great but after some time the speed drops miserably. When I again restart the router the speed seems great for few mins but again drops after sometime.It happens in both LAN and wireless mode.The firmware version of the router is 1.00.16
I was going through the problems posted by some other user but observed that cisco people are not heraing to them.Seems made a mistake by associating with cisco product.This is the worst router I have ever used.The wireless also gets disconnected abruptly.Next time I'll avoid cisco.Cisco is all about stone age products and zero customer care.

From time to time, when I wake up an specific station from sleep mode, the router loses its connection with Internet. It still has the line synced, but there is no Internet connection.I still can access the router through browser though. If I hit "connect" to establish a manual connection, it does not work. I have to switch the router off and on and wait for the whole process of syncing and connection, then I have Internet again.
I thought this could be something on that PC (old XP) sending some weird packet to router when I wake it up, but I tried with a newer PC (Win 7 64 bits) and the same problem persists. Also, this only happens when I wake up the PC. If it is off and I turn on, or if I restart, the problem does not happen.
The router (WAG120N) has an old firmware version (V1.00.12) because the latest available is buggy and had some problem with my ISP (limiting the bandwidth). However, I have this firmware for like 6 months and the problem only started 2 months ago.

Yesterday I bought the Linksys Wireless-N Home ADSL2+ Modem Router WAG120N (Annex-A version). I configured the modem/router and it was working very well. Today I was surfing the internet just fine and I left my computer for a few minutes, when I came back I noticed that there is no internet connection. The internet light on the modem was no longer on, and the DSL one was blinking. I turned off the device and then turned it back on but the issue was still present. I tried restoring the factory default settings and configuring the modem again but nothing seems to work (resetting the modem, turning off every device connected to it and restarting the modem/router). The DSL light keeps blinking, turns off for a couple seconds and then starts blinking again. The internet light only appears when I restart the modem and it flashes red just after turning the device on.

I have local WI-Fi network with 2 Macs, 2 PC's, iPhone, iPod and i Pad at home on Link sys WAG120N router. On i Pad when I try to connect to Internet I have to turn WiFi off and on. It works for a while but after waking i Pad from sleep I have to switch off and on again. It really drives me crazy. Sometimes (hardly ever) it happens on my iPhone 4 (same network setup as on i Pad). Other devices connect to Internet whenever I need.

Have problem with both of my wag120n routers. I setup remote access, from the intranet it works fine. But from internet instead of showing me the page it starts downloading it. Instead of home page trying to save ¨download¨, if i put a long link like xxx.com/setup.cgi?=etc then it tryes to save ¨setup.cgi¨. All fileas are empty, 7kbytes.

My WAG120N router has stopped working completely. None of the Ethernet ports or the wi-fi signal button is lit,power light continues to blink for 10 odd mins and then comes to a rest. Tried to login to admin portal without any success, tried to reset it pressing the reset button in the back without any success.Tried the 30-30-30 reset method without success too.
