Linksys Cable / DSL :: WAG120N - IPad And IPhone Access To Internet

I have local WI-Fi network with 2 Macs, 2 PC's, iPhone, iPod and i Pad at home on Link sys WAG120N router. On i Pad when I try to connect to Internet I have to turn WiFi off and on. It works for a while but after waking i Pad from sleep I have to switch off and on again. It really drives me crazy. Sometimes (hardly ever) it happens on my iPhone 4 (same network setup as on i Pad). Other devices connect to Internet whenever I need.

My iphone wireless connectivity to my Linksys router that I have put up with for a year, but as I now have the same issue with my ipad I've decided enough is enough.The issue is that they both connect OK to the router and therefore to the internet, but after a short period of time (minutes) whilst it appears that they are still connected to the router the connection seems to completely hang. At that point I have to go into settings on the iphone/ipad and turn off the wireless connection and turn it on again. This then allows connectivity and internet activity for 5-10 (15-20) minutes before it hangs again.I have no problems with connecting to any other router from the iphone and ipad. And I also have no problems with my PC's connecting to the Linksys router.

I have a Wag 160n router which works fine with desktop pc connected by ethernet & wirelessly to laptop. My nokia phone finds the wi-fi signal but apple i-phone & ipad dont!

Recently I shifted to ADSL2+ Internet broadband.So purchased "CISCO Linksys WAG120N" router as my firewall hardware( FortiGate60) had no any port to connect to ADSL.Now I'm accessing internet throug the above Linksys router and do not use the firewall as I don't know how to configure the firewall to get the internet access through firewall from the router.My earlier broadband service was directly connected to the firewall's WAN port as it was compatible.configure the firewall to access the internet from the router through the firewall.

1) I dis abled the DHCP services on modem router as i was connecting it to a belkin router and after that i cannot accesss the setup of the WAG 120N.
2)If I acces the WAG120N by Lan the internet works fine but if i acces through wirless it does not.
3)Also when ever i connect the LAN cable from BELKIN router to WAG 120N the wirless services stop as well on the BElkin router and i cant figure it out why.

i have a router to connect on Internet, i need it because it let me use VOIP. I want to use WAG120N like Access Point Wireless because my VOIP router is not wireless.
How i have to configure it? What kind of incapsulation i have to use? VOIP router IP: 192.168.1.1
If is it possible (and if it is useful) i would to configure WAG120N with 2 IP, first one: 192.168.1.101 (to communicate with VOIP router and to let me go on internet) second one: 192.168.0.1 (to let me have control on it's configuration)
My devices will connect to 192.168.0.0 network

I have had trouble setting my WAG120N as router.
I am connected to internet via a cable modem, via the LAN cable, I connect cable modem to WAG120N that I want to use as an wireless access point only. And I have got 2 PC, 1 runs on XP, the other on runs on Windows 7. My XP would have no trouble to connect to wireless, but the Win7 can only connect to wireless network, but no internet. When I try the troubleshooting from Win 7, it says, DNS server isnt responding The setting I am using at the moment is Bridged mode only, without entering any values of DNS, IP, etc Is there any setting that work for both OS?

I am using WAG120N, and it keeps disconnected from internet randomly, normally between 5-10 minutes. The thing is, when it is disconnected, the adsl lamp is still on, so I think that it is not the network problem. When internet lamp turns off , I try to turn off the device (or unplug the phone cable), then turn it on again (or re-plug the cable), and it will work for certain minutes, then gets disconnected again. I already upgraded the firmware to v 1.00.12.

I recently got a Linksys WAG120n wireless modem but I have a problem with its Wireless.whenever I want to connect to the wireless of the modem I have to reboot the modem. or I cannot connect to it or if I connect I do not have internet access the cable LAN interface of the modem is working is working properly.I used Mixed (b/g/n) as network mode and wpa2/psk as authentication mode with using preshared key.and the channel is 11. no matter if I enable MAC filtering for wireless or not it is just the same.my laptop is a HP G42 with a Ralink 3090 wireless card and I have installed the latest manufacturer driver of the wireless Card.but it is not working .even sometimes laptop cannot find the linksys modem until I reboot the modem.as I have found there is no newer firmwire on cisco site for this modem to upgrade.

I have a wag120n ADSL modem. When I turn on the modem, after about 30 min to 1 hour DSL LED light flashing and then internet LED light turn off, and disconnect from internet. And modem does not connecting to internet until I turn off and turn on again the modem. I check with other modem it is working fine and DSL line is not the problem. Also I installed the latest firmware and that not solved the problem.

It has been 4 months my Router " Wag 120n ". The Router Gives Me A yellow Sign on the network Icon Sying " No network Access " and the wireless Led is blinking with 1 sec interval So
- I cant open Router's Home Page
- there is No ping to 192.168.1.1 " General Failure or Host unreachable " response
- The Only way to get connected again is to replug the router from electricity , it works normally for 5 min and the Yellow Sign shows up again
the Solutions I Tried to fix that up :-
1) Hard reset the 30/30/15 reset
2) Firmware re-flashing
3) Trying an old firmware 1.0.0.12 instead of 1.0.0.16
but nothing of those worked the Only thing that worked for like 20 min the firmware upgrade but after that the problem came up again the problem happens to all Computers on the network wired or on wireless happens on all kind of operations systems win7, xp, vista, (Android for mobiles).

I am connecting to the internet in two desktops using the WAG120N modem+router.I have no problems with the internet. But when I try to use the wireless access point in my mobile phone / laptop,the device is not able to find the WiFi access point. I need to swith off the modem and start it again, then the devices are finding the access point. I guess this has to do with some amount of inactivity and the modem switces off the wireless access point. I there anyway by which I can turn off that setting ? I have tried the setting page but was not able to find anything.

I will just explain my setup:
I have a ADSL Huwavi modem by my ISP installed at my place.. Now the wireless from that device is very bad.. So I purchased WAG120N to setup a daisy-chain kind of setup in my other bedroom. I also put another D-link DIR-600 in between to give a connection to the first floor (via Ethernet cable).
So my huwavi is the ISP device, then a LAN from it goes to the dlink internet (WAN) port. then one cable from the d-link LAN port to the LAN1 of WAG120N and another upstairs.
Now all of this was working perfectly.. I put same SSIDs and Pwds on both ISP router and WAG120N and i was getting seamless net..
Now yesterday we removed the ISP modem to do some shifting.. Upon reconnecting, the ISP modem, Dlink work as before, but the WAG120N refuses to connect to the net.. it shows DSL down and doesn't access the www.
What I felt is that since i changed LAN ports on my ISP device and dlink, the static IP settings on the WAG120N should be changed.. i modified it, set to to point to the dlink for internet and huwavie for DHCP.. yet nothings happening..
I even connected the WAG120N directly to the Huwavie, yet it fails to connect to the net..

I am using linksys cisco wag120n adsl2 modem router.When I start the router the internet speed seems great but after some time the speed drops miserably. When I again restart the router the speed seems great for few mins but again drops after sometime.It happens in both LAN and wireless mode.The firmware version of the router is 1.00.16
I was going through the problems posted by some other user but observed that cisco people are not heraing to them.Seems made a mistake by associating with cisco product.This is the worst router I have ever used.The wireless also gets disconnected abruptly.Next time I'll avoid cisco.Cisco is all about stone age products and zero customer care.

From time to time, when I wake up an specific station from sleep mode, the router loses its connection with Internet. It still has the line synced, but there is no Internet connection.I still can access the router through browser though. If I hit "connect" to establish a manual connection, it does not work. I have to switch the router off and on and wait for the whole process of syncing and connection, then I have Internet again.
I thought this could be something on that PC (old XP) sending some weird packet to router when I wake it up, but I tried with a newer PC (Win 7 64 bits) and the same problem persists. Also, this only happens when I wake up the PC. If it is off and I turn on, or if I restart, the problem does not happen.
The router (WAG120N) has an old firmware version (V1.00.12) because the latest available is buggy and had some problem with my ISP (limiting the bandwidth). However, I have this firmware for like 6 months and the problem only started 2 months ago.

Yesterday I bought the Linksys Wireless-N Home ADSL2+ Modem Router WAG120N (Annex-A version). I configured the modem/router and it was working very well. Today I was surfing the internet just fine and I left my computer for a few minutes, when I came back I noticed that there is no internet connection. The internet light on the modem was no longer on, and the DSL one was blinking. I turned off the device and then turned it back on but the issue was still present. I tried restoring the factory default settings and configuring the modem again but nothing seems to work (resetting the modem, turning off every device connected to it and restarting the modem/router). The DSL light keeps blinking, turns off for a couple seconds and then starts blinking again. The internet light only appears when I restart the modem and it flashes red just after turning the device on.

Have problem with both of my wag120n routers. I setup remote access, from the intranet it works fine. But from internet instead of showing me the page it starts downloading it. Instead of home page trying to save ¨download¨, if i put a long link like xxx.com/setup.cgi?=etc then it tryes to save ¨setup.cgi¨. All fileas are empty, 7kbytes.

Just bought this WAG120N and using the CD Setup it gets as far as Install Gateway then displays its not connected properly. Checked everything it says to check.Im swapping from an ordinary adsl modem but i unplugged all of that and the WAG120N shows steady Power , 1 ethernet number lit and flashing ok, Wireless is lit and DSL is also also lit. Rebooted a few times too.
