I am having a spot of bother with a Cisco PIX515, I have posted the current running config below, now I am no cisco expert by any means although I can do basic stuff with them, now I am having trouble with traffic sent from the outside to address: 10.75.32.25 it just doesn't appear to be going anywhere.
Now this firewall is deep inside a private network, with an upstream firewall that we don't manage. I have spoken to the people that look after that firewall and they say they they have traffic routing to 10.75.32.21 and 10.75.32.25 and thats it (although there is a website that runs from the server 172.16.102.5 which (if my understanding is correct) gets traffic via 10.75.32.23. I am having issues with PXE boot images for PCs cannot be loaded from remotely. The diagnosis revealed that SunRPC & TFTP were being inspected by ASA causing drop of packets. So I excluded these two inspections for the particular server behind the firewall. It seem to resolve the issue for instance but it crawled back again.
Is there a way that the inspection can be turned off for that particular server at the IP level?
I have an 8 port Gigabit EHWIC in my Cisco 1921 router. A darn nice little switch module.
However, through my research, I am unable to find if I am able to change the way the NIC lights (green LEDs) on each port function. They basically just stay lit 100% non flashing when connected regardless of the port speed and duplex and ignore flashing for any activity.
Is there a deep layer command on these EHWIC cards to make them flash with activity like full standalone switches? Trust me when you have enough switch ports filled up it does make monitoring your networks health and activity by having the port led's respond to traffic flow. At least in my opinion.
I have a lot microbursts in my network and i looking 10G switches with big buffers. Which models have biggest buffers ? I think about 1-2U (nax 4U) switch with up to 60-100 10G ports. Something like nexus 3064 (he has only 9MB shared buffers AFAIK). Besides deep buffers i need also:
- trill or another ethernet ring topology like erps,eapsv2, - Multi chassis LAG, - virtual routers, policy routing - dcb - 40G interfaces will be plus
I installed LMS 4.0 and then LMS 4.0.1 but I have to come back to 4.0, how can I uninstall LMS 4.0.1 without having to uninstall the whole LMS and install it again?
My computer will not connect to the internet wirelessly. When I start the computer it says the wireless driver is installed improperly. I can't figure out how to uninstall the wireless driver. I'm told if I do that and restart the computer it will re install correctly?
All right, I have two desktop computers, one's connected to the Internet through wireless and the other one's directly connected to the router via Ethernet.Whenever I try to play a LAN game between the computers with several 3D shooters, during the game there's several 3-second freezes, and then eventually the game freezescompletely. These freeze-ups are getting very frustrating.
I have a home network, hard wired 2 PC's & printer to a Linksys wireless 6 router. I use the wireless capability for WiFI to my two TV's. My son was able to get on the internet without using a password. When I map a network drive I must use ID and Password. I have a firewall. Is my home network vulnerable? My son see "Linksys" as a open wi-fi resource with his MAC, but since he is unable access my network printer
So I was having trouble loading a game on my computer and I was scrolling through forums looking for an answer and one answer that supposively worked for a lot of people was to unisntall and reinstall my network card.IT told me to go to devices -> right click network adapter -> uninstall -> then scan for hardwarer changes to reinstall When I clicked uninstall an error message popped up and said "Unable to uninstall device because device is required on startup" and then it apparently just uninstalled it anyway and it showed back up after I clicked "scan for hardware changes".Now ever since, everytime I try and connect to the internet my computer says "Limited or no connectivity" and I'm unable to access the internet on that computer, the computer I am on now can connect just fine, so it must have something to do with the network card that i supposively unisntalled.
I previously had DSL with my own combo modem/wireless router. I cancelled DSL and got Cable broadband instead. I've already unplugged my DSL modem/router and have my cable modem hooked up, all is running well. I bought a new Netgear N600 wireless router that I want to set up. Do I have to uninstall any software or files from my previous DSL modem/router before installing my new cable router?
I have been trying to uninstall the software for the f54g network adapter. I recived a message to run uninstall from the linksys wireless-g usb network adapter
whenever i try to play a online game (Gw2 Beta, Diablo3, LoL etc) it goes fine for a few minutes but then the game "freezes" for a few seconds. Meaning everything on screen stops. I.E my character keeps running on the same spot and so on.I tried checking if i lose the connection at the tray bar, but it says its connected during the "freeze" ingame.
I've tried scanning for viruses, using winsock fix (they had a static ip I also set to automatic since they should not need it). I just turned off the firewall as well, tried "selective startup" and unchecked "load startup items" and nothing has worked so far. We're working on giving them another computer but I'd like to know why this happens.
I just signed up for Time Warner - Road Runner internet service. I am currently hardwired via ethernet to the new cable modem (arris cm820) while I wait for my wireless router to arrive. The internet appears to be working fine (good speed), however, it stalls without fail every 3 minutes. It will freeze and no pages will open (FYI, it does not open a "you are not connected to the internet" page, it simply just sits there trying to load any and all pages). After about 5 minutes, the pages will suddenly load and the internet will work fine for another 3 minutes. Then, it will freeze all over again. Rinse and repeat. When this happens, the modem shows no physical signs of disconnection (all lights are on as normal) and network diagnostics on the mac shows that that the ethernet is still connected as well.I tried calling Time Warner and all they could say is that it "looks fine from our end, watch it for 24 hours and call back." So basically they knew nothing.
I had an antenna break on a WMP54g v 4.1 and I was able to replace it with a WMP54g v 4 but I'm not having a lot of luck getting the driver to install. This is on Win7 32 bit Home Premium. I assume this is due to the fact that I was using a newer and switched to an older piece of hardware and there is some driver issues. How to uninstall the old driver completely so I can start fresh I have tried everything I know to do and can't seem to get anywhere.
I have been having problems with my internet connections so I was trying to uninstall my router to re-install my router. Unfortunately, I put my set up disc in and clicked on the start button and get a message that the driver is already installed and I must uninstall the driver - I can't find the driver to uninstall as the program is out of my uninstall menu.
I installed QuickVPN v1.4.2.1 as it was in the download section on Linksys: [URL]
for the RV082 router we have. It connected but the program seemed buggy as there seemed to be no way to close the program after I used it so I wanted to uninstall it and install a more recent version of QuickVPN (side question: is it possible to VPN connect to my RV082 router with a different version of QuickVPN?).
I have Windows 7 Professional 64bit SP1 with all the latest updates. When I try to uninstall the program, at about the 25% mark of the window for 'QuickVPN Client Setup is preparing the InstallShield Wizard, which will guide you through the rest of the setup process. Please wait.' it seems to stop responding as holding the mouse over that windows just displayes a ring which goes round and round. I regret installing this buggy software on my PC.
When i right click to open attachments some will not open, the page freezes and i have to booth computer to get rid of it, this only happens on some attachments, most open ok,i know where they are coming from so they are safe to openI've got Vista Home Basic 32
It started happening back in around November, my sister and my computer would start freezing occasionally, slurring the audio into a robotic sound, eventually to come to.It gradually got worse, and I assumed it was a graphics card problem since it would freeze ONLY SOMETIMES and say that the graphics driver stopped working and has recovered. It usually didn't say that, though.Lately though, I noticed that when it would freeze sometimes the internet would go out for some connected devices, such as the Xbox 360. The only computer that was NEVER affected by this is the one connected directly by Ethernet to the Netgear router, (every other device is WiFi.)
Sometimes even, my sister and mine would freeze simultaneously. It was a sort of rare occurrence, though.I very lately started to notice that it would freeze when trying to load internet components with larger amounts of data, such as server console logs, Flash videos, and Soundcloud players. What threw me off is that it would sometimes freeze in programs like FL Studio or Windows Media Player... It's possible I guess that the programs were unrelated and what caused the freeze is SOMETHING sending/receiving corrupt packets.
I think there is a problem with the settings on my router or something like that. When I watch videos on streaming sites the load bar tends to go up but only so far before freezing. If you slide the button along once the umbrella spinny thing gets going then the load bar will kick back into life again for a few seconds before freezing! The problem also effects downloads. Anything that takes longer the 5 or 10 seconds will fail. This has stopped me downloading simple things such as iplayer and flash updates. I know its not a problem with my computer as it effects all the machines that pass through the house. Were currently getting Virgin wireless broadband (so I dont think its a speed issue).A tecky friend of mine thinks it might be something to do with the 'packets' of information or the channel that my router is operating on
In the last couple weeks my router has begun to lock up / freeze. Not sure the appropriate terminology to use for this. The end result is wireless and wired connections stop functioning. I can't connect to the routers web interface via wired. I can't connect to any of the wireless SIDs. The router just doesn't respond. When I look at the router the lights are still blinking, but nobody seems to be home. I have to unplug the router and do a 30 count and plug it back in to get it to return to working order. At the time that this first occurred I mad not made any changes to the device in months, if not longer. Was running great. Not sure what happened.
I have a cisco NAC Manager v4.6.1 when i restart it, the boot freeze at this msg <ext3 fs mounted filesystem with ordered data mode> and it take a very long time.
The server is pingable but no GUI access during the msg.
I have windows XP and my local area connection properties is freezing up ALL the time when I hit ok ,when I enter the ip address and default gateway and subnet manually. I uninstalled my wireless network adapters and disabled my firewall. My main concern is I am trying to get my computer wired for work at home jobs. I used to have it wirelessly. I am using my landlord's ethernet D link router connection from linkysys router to Dlink then to computer wired using an ethernet cable. She has it working for her. She has it going from her son's and it works. My computer says aquiring network address quite frequently. Yesterday it used to say connected but the internet said page cannot be displayed and for the results everything was ok but not the gateway.
Computer was hooked to router by cat 5. System worked fine. Due to network configuration changes I had to switch to wireless. Now the Mouse is jittery, delayes in movement and freezes.

I've had the router for 3+ months, and was very happy until about a week ago. Since then, it's started doing what many others here have reported: freezing where it's impossible even to access the web interface, requiring a reboot. When this happens, router's SYS and WLAN lights both freeze (either on or off, seems to be random wherever they are at the instant). The other lights continue to flicker. Freezes occur anywhere from half an hour to several hours apart.Network includes three ethernet wired devices (1 computer, 2 Ooma VOIP adapters), 1 TB NTFS hard drive via USB (music storage), 4 wi-fi devices (1 computer, 1 network streamer, 1 printer, 1 Roku streamer).Use the router extensively to stream music from the USB-connected hard drive, but the freezes also happen when not streaming.Have already done a factory reset of the router. Currently running plain vanilla installation except for enabling security settings and the USB drive, and it's still happening.
I have toshiba c600 a259 with core i3 processor. the laptop is great but it has one big problem with the network wireless card.. everytime i try to connect to my home wireless network the computer freeze and i have to press the power button to turn it off. however i tried connecting to another network somewhere else and it worked fine. There is nothing wrong with the wireless network router because other laptops can connect to this network. my toshiba also can connect to interrnet if i plugged it directly to the router. My wireless network card model is: atheros AR9002WB-1NG
I work from home on a Lenovo Laptop. I connect to my work network, and ultimately to a midrange ISeries. For the past year I've had no major problems with my Netgear Linksys WRT54G. I switched to a Netgear N300 last weekend because my husband's desktop was having a lot of issues. His connection is much better now.I'm able to connect to the internet with no problem, and I can access my company network & email pretty well. But, when I log on the ISeries it slows to way less than a crawl. According to my netwok icon, the connection is anywhere from 104 to 130 MBPS at any given time. But it freezes up so badly that it takes about 20 - 30 seconds just to type each letter, or to go from one window to another, or just to move the cursor down one line. It's infuriating. Every once in awhile if I disconnect and reconnect it works almost normally for awhile, but eventually slows down almost to a stop again. I actually worked for about 90 minutes the other day with no problem before it started acting up again. When I put the old G router back it works fine again. My laptop has an Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 620 wireless adaptor. As long as I don't connect to the iseries, I have good speed and no issues with the internet or work intranet.
