Using Connectify Software To Share Internet Through Wireless Card?

I have actually made my laptop a hotspot for example i have cable network connected on it or usb internet and i am using connectify software to share internet through wirelesss card it is sharing through wireless card to mobile and other wireless devices.. But only the issue is i want to set bandwidth for every user or default bandwidth rule for every device connect.. connectify showing me every user that connect internet through my laptop but it has no bandwidth setting option is there any solution to set bandwidth as per user or default bandwidth then whoever connect he will get my selected speed.

e've been using Connectify to share the internet connection in our house and it was working beautifully, then it stopped after we upgraded to pro but now it's working again. I'm using a windows xp and my sister is using windows 7. We were both connected to the wireless network but none of the computers could get on the internet; so I restarted my mom's laptop (which is the hotspot) and my sis's laptop started browsing but mine didn't and it's still not browsing. And when i check the wireless status it says "Sending 786 packets, receiving 5 packets"

this has been a new developing problem i have been having it its starting to be a pain in the you know what. Recently i have been losing connection off the network countless times a day then to have problems getting back online. I have a Belkin Surf and Share Wireless N router that was working perfectly. i have a laptop sitting next to me that doesnt go offline when i do. Seems like im the only person in the house hold experiencing problems. I even tried a different wireless card and still have the same issue. im clueless on what to do. i tried flushing my DNS several times. I have a connection of only .30 mbsp from this issue as well.

I currently reside in a university which has firewall restrictions. I use a SSH tunnel to connect to the internet. I managed to get my wifi up and running on my mobile device using Connectify but the only the sites which are accesible through wifi are the ones that are accesible through the university firewall. Anyway i can extend the SSH proxy to the mobile device via the Laptop?

i would like to share internet from my USB modem purchased from a local mobile communications provider with several other computers. how to achieve this.i will have to purchase a wireless usb router and then attach the internet dongle to it. i need to know what configurations i need to make from there. and can any router work with this usb dongle or is there a specific one that i need to purchase.

I have internet through an ethernet cable. I was trying to use a Thomson ADSL router from O2 to share this ethernet connection wirelessly. I was told this is not possible(can give detail if needed). What is the best and cheapest wireless AP that takes an ethernet input and outputs wireless+ethernet(option) ?I have been looking at LINKYS wrt54g for about 20.

I am using a Belkin router with my laptop (Vista). What I would like to do is connect my desktop machine, also Vista to the router. THe Belkin has 4 ethernet ports in addition to the modem port. So far I have been unable to succeed in making a connection. I am going to get a USB adaptor, but am looking for an interem solution

What i would like to do from here is plug a cable from my wired lan to the internet plug on the wireless router to create a wireless network with internet in the house. I have an internet connection that enters my house using a CAT5 cable through RJ45 type socket - Currently I have a desktop that is connected to the Cable - I want to share my internet connection - The desktop should have a cable connection and want to connect a laptop as well which will connect using wireless as well as cable as and when required - I will not be using both computers at all times so do not want to make my desktop a server or the laptop a server.

We just built a new shop and are trying to get wireless throughout the whole thing. However the situation is unique.
The internet connection is actually a large area wireless connection. It is provided by DTN. Basically we have a dish type of thing on top the shop that picks up internet from a transmitter about 3 miles away. There is a large cable that goes from the dish into a Cisco 350 Wireless card in the computer.

We are given a static IP address from the company which is in the 10.1.x.x range. What my original plan was to use ICS to share the DTN connection to a wireless router that is connected to the LAN port of the host computer. However ICS only works for the 192.168.0.1 ip address. We have to use the 10.1.x.x IP that we were given, that cannot be change. So because of this ICS does not seem like it will not work, unless there is a 3rd party tool that can used.
Also anytime that I enable the LAN port on the computer now that the router is plugged in, the internet drops off. it looks like the computer is defaulting to the LAN connection instead of teh DTN connection (which shows up as a wireless connection to XP). Is there anyway to stop this from happening?
Other notes: Computer: It is a Core2Duo running windows XP Pro.
Also are there any routers that can be purchased that can use a wireless connection input for the LAN connection?

I have that connections and i cant change because is a bussiness network, modem (floor 0) > switch (floor 0) > rack switch (floor 0) > network port (floor 1) > router wireless In others floor they have this config with wireless internet working, but in mine no.
The router model is Linksys WRT160N V2, the IP is 192.168.1.87 and if i connect a PC directly to the network on floor 1 i have working internet.

I'm Using D-Link DIR 600 wireless router with my desktop CPU (Windows XP Professional SP1) using wired connection and Dell laptop (Windows 7 Ultimate) connected wirelessly. I am currently connecting my PC to a mobile phone as a Wireless Access Point to give that PC access the internet. I also have a small home network, with one other PC and a Game Console. I own a Linksys E900 Wireless-N300 Router. My problem is this. How do I share that internet connection with the rest of the home network?To the best of my knowledge its not possible to connect my mobile phone directly to my Linksys E900 Wireless-N300 Router.
So my alternative idea is to connect to the internet via one PC, set up that internet connection as "Shared." and then allow the other devices on the home network to connect thru this. My question is how do I set up my Linksys E900 Wireless-N300 Router to allow my other PC and game console connect to the internet? Bridge Mode? PPPoE?

I just purchased a Zonet wireless PCI adapter and I cannot connect to the internet, for my wireless connection it says I have limited to no connection, with a little yellow triangle with an exclamation point, and for the local area plug it says a cable is unplugged. I cant get in touch with the manufacturer either.

This is on my desktop. I have a wireless card to access the internet and I am trying to hook another desktop to the internet through my desktop.
1. Is this even possible? I know it is on laptops but what about desktops?

configuration, some may be obvious. the desktops are connected through Ethernet cord. The main rig has the wireless card already hooked to internet. Have turned on ICS sharing on the Ethernet connection on main rig, and nothing. There is no option for sharing on the wireless adapter. The second rig has no option to share the connection. The main rig has a static IP because of port forwarding (my gaming rig).

Verizon FIOS fiber optic DSL router 100meg working with other desk top and two other computers. The IP address is correct and signal is real strong, excelent according to PC. I put in the security KEY and it connects and says it's ok but no internet.I've tried every thing. When I plug in the ethernet cable everything works fine on line. With Belkin you can let windows start the wireless input or Belkin. I tried both. No luck. I'm sending you this over my ethernet cable. Need Tech support.I have another desktop with Belkin wireless card and it is working fine . I did try to troubleshoot useing it and lost internet on it and had to do a restore to get it back. So afraid to mess with it.

I have been having difficulty connecting to the internet at my new place, I'm starting to think that the network card I recently bought (D-Link DWA-552 XtremeN Desktop Adapter) might have a problem, but I am not sure. I am currently using my landlord's internet, so I don't have access to the router to turn it on and off, which Windows suggests doing constantly, but I don't think that's the problem because I have internet on all my other wireless devices (Phone, PS3, Xbox).I am able to see the router most times and connect to it, but I am unable to connect to the internet, the networking image in the bottom corner has a yellow warning sign. Also, after a certain amount of time, the wireless card is unable to detect any wireless signal, the networking image in the bottom corner has a red X through it. I disabled all networking interfaces besides the wireless card because of an error message that I thought may have been caused by it: "This computer is continuously switching between two or more wireless access points or routers", but disabling the other interfaces did nothing and the message still appears after troubleshooting.

He's getting a error saying Unidentified Network. After letting fail windows troubleshoot I got 2 errors. The first was "The default gateway is not available, the second was Local Area connection doesn't have a valid ip configuration. Here's what Ive tried so far.I tried in safe mode. Ethernet works here so I assume is a software issue?Uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers. disabled and enabled, nothing..I tried going into configure network card and giving Network Address a random 12 digit value and that failed.Ive tried updating the drivers but I cant because Dell wants me to their download manager into the computer that has no internet to download the drivers /facepalm..I basically ran out of ideas. This is a Dell Studio laptop. It has 2 network cards a wireless and a Ethernet, the ethernet card is a Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, The wireless DW1501 Wireless-N WLAN Half-Mini Card
