Bought router and a PCIe wireless mini card that was suggested for my PC on Dell order site. The card arrived and am trying to install. The end plate with the aerial socket is not compatible with the removable access blanks in rear of case. Have I been sent an incorrect or unsuitable card, or is there some trick or adapting needed to install this card?

The IP address is correct and signal is real strong, excelent according to PC. I put in the security KEY and it connects and says it's ok but no internet.I've tried every thing. When I plug in the ethernet cable everything works fine on line. With Belkin you can let windows start the wireless input or Belkin. I tried both. No luck. I'm sending you this over my ethernet cable. Need Tech support.I have another desktop with Belkin wireless card and it is working fine . I did try to troubleshoot useing it and lost internet on it and had to do a restore to get it back. So afraid to mess with it.

I've checked and found that E series line cards does not work with Sup V Engine.

I recently updated to Windows 8, and before updating, Windows 8 setup recognized the drivers for my Belkin G Desktop wireless card. After installation, my system was able to connect to my wi-fi network without any problem. However, due to the power going off at my home, an automatic update on Windows 8 got interrupted.
Since then, it has caused a ton of problems, which caused me to finally re-install Windows 8. Now, however, it does not recognize the wireless card and its drivers, and does not let me install from the CD, or through any alternate sources ?

System has a Broadcom NeXtreme Gigabit Ethernet card installed, which gets me to the internet OK when using a LAN cable from wireless router. But I can't make wireless connection. Vista tells me that I need a wireless network adapter.Am I missing something? Is it possible to change some settings to get the Broadcom card to go wireless? If not, what sort of adapter is needed, and is such adapter external or will it have to be installed in the system box?

My laptop connects to the internet through this router using wireless and for test purposes through the ethernet port. I installed a new network card {Dynex DX-E102 PCI NetworkAdaptor}in the desktop. When i'm enabling either the old or new card through Control Panel, Network Connections, i get the message "acquirin network address,Firewalled".and it never enables. I ran Malwarebytes and no infections were found. I use AVG anti-virus and Internet Explorer.

Our company recently inherited a group of locations that have Nortel 2270 WLC's with Cisco firmware and have a mixture of 1010 and 1030 LAP's. We are trying to map out an upgrade path for them but I am having difficulty getting the following information, even directly from Cisco. So I have the following questions:
1. Does the 2270 WLC support any other model of Cisco LAP other than the 1010 and 1030?
2. Will a newer controller, say a 2100 or 4400, be compatible with the 1010 and 1030 LAPs already at these locations?
3. Is there anywhere I can find a list of Cisco controllers (EOL and otherwise) and what LAPs they support?
If the two are compatable, how exactly do I go about setting them up, without compromising my security settings? Whenever I search for a wireless signal on my DS, I come across the router but it's locked and when I attempt to sign on to wifi in my games, I recieve error code 20100.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've noticed that my WUSB54GSC is completely unsupported by Windows 7, nor has Linksys published any new drivers. From browsing these forums and the internet, many other Linksys users are experiencing much trouble with getting their wireless adapters to work with Windows 7.So please, Cisco, publish new Windows 7 drivers... I'm completely taken back that there is nothing to do with Windows 7 anywhere on your site, and disappointed at none of your products being ready for the new Operating System. Im stuck with a useless router. I've tried for hours and hours to try random fixes i found on the internet, force install drivers preloaded on Windows 7, and force install the out of date Linksys drivers....to no avail. I still need to activate my Windows 7 online, and i can't activate it if my wireless adapter doesn't work. I will keep this in mind when i purchase routers/adapters in the future. I've already tried using the ra-link drivers to get my adapter working, but every time i get a "code 10" error stating that "This device cannot start". Any driver that i do install from Windows 7 pre loaded drivers ends up giving me that error. And all the out-of-date linksys drivers don't even successfully install the drivers...
