Belkin N600 HD - Unable To Connect To Internet

I just installed a band new copy of xp on my system and I cannot connect to the internet! I'm connected via Ethernet to my Belkin n600 HD and whenever I go try to follow the steps via Microsoft [Go into Network Connections > Create a New Connection > Connect to the Internet > Set up my connection manually > Connect using a broadband connection that requires a user name and password] It just brings up the old school dial up vpn style thing and never connects to the net. Secondly I tried to install the Belkin software but it just has errors trying to establish a connection with it. The Internet is working fine, I have 5 laptops connected to it.

I have a N600 router. Yesterday, for the first time, I was unable to connect to the internet from my TV. It keeps saying network connection failed. I have unplugged the router and modem several times and that does not work. When I check the various wireless systems available (on the TV screen) I see mine there but it will not connect. At one point I did see something that said ethernet cable disconnected, but I checked and the cable is connected.

Just installed N600 router. Works for my Windows 7 PC and my Android phone. Does not work with my Windows VISTA PC. It connects to the Router ok, but does not connect with the Internet. Also says UNIDENTIFIED NETWORK. What am I missing?

I have N600 HD Wireless dual band N Router. have successfully installed the router on wireless mode, however I have the following problem in accessing the storage devices connected to the Router.I can see the storage devices connected to the Router in the "Belkin USB Print and Storage center", but when I double click to browse the devices, it does not open up.

I am trying to install a Belkin N600 to a Windows 7 desktop with no luck. When I run the setup off the install disk it attempts to install the driver needed for the N600, but every time it fails the install stating that the device is not functioning. When I connect the N600 to my computer it sees the device but its almost like my usb ports are not powering the device even tho I have connected a lash drive to all of my ports to make sure they were working, and they are( All usb ports are 2.0).

I have a Belkin N600 HD.I'm on an Off-net ADSL2 Connection with TPG.It took 2 weeks to connect.I've connected and I'm still downloading at 1.5Mbps (150kb/s)I bought new Lie filters/splitter in case the same ones I have were faulty (C1024M) and connected them correct to both my home phone and my Modem.So I've connected to my net, I can download and do whatever but I'm going at my ADSL1 Speeds. My friend is on the same connection, same modem (he bought it cause of me) and he's hitting higher then me (500kb/s, 600kb/s) Although he's on a separate line so no filters required (I think).He lives about 5minutes away from me (car) and is about the same distance from the exchange as I am (2.5km give or take) [code]

Just installed N600 Play router. All computers and phone connect fine, but computers won't auto connect after reboot or sleep. With old router this worked fine.

I bought the router belkin n600 and it says in the box the USB support the FAT16/32 and NTFS which is I am really interested in but I was disappointed when I attached my book WD essitionl 3TB in to it because the router couldn't see it and I also tried a 320GB Toshiba external hard disk has NTFS file system and it didn't work ..

I have a 3 story townhouse and want to have one n600 connected to my modem on the 3rd floor and then have the other downstairs connected through wireless to the one upstairs. I have seen lyncsys will do this but will the belkins?

I just bought a Play N600 F7D8302. I swapped out my old Belkin router for this one. Easy swap. I went in to the 192.168.2.1 address, to look at the current wireless settings. I saw an option to use it as an access point. Not sure what I was thinking when I checked it off, but now I can't connect wirelessly, and I cant get onto the settings page again, via 192.168.2.1. My IP address has changed, and is now 50.135.82.220. I've unhooked everything and hooked it back up. I pushed the reset button on the back. I don't know what to do. How do I get it back to the way it was before I got my hands on it?

Having an issue with my Belkin N600 router - when initially installed it was working fine but in the past week it has gtten slower - if I connect directly to my DSL modem my speed is 1.5 MBS when I use the router connection my speed drops to .1 MBS - tried resetting to factory defaults & that did not work also tried resetting my modem *& router still having the same issue.

Just purchased a Belkin N600 DB N+ Wireless Router because the wireless on my Actiontec PK5000 really isn't so great. When I hook up the router to my modem and after running the install CD I couldn't get connected to the internet. So I looked at my modem and noticed the light where I had plugged in my router VIA ethernet wasn't lit up like the rest of my ethernet ports even after switching them around.

Installed new N600 router and every box in the house can access the internet - except for my Vista powered laptop. My network shows up as Unidentified network with 'locla only' access. Ben scouring message boards all day. Can't find a solution at Microsoft.

F9L1101 N600 DB Wireless Dual-Band USB Adapter : recognizing and connecting to wireless network but unable to use internet. Changed static IP adress, etc but no luck. Followed instructions on support email response:
Windows XP:
Start->Control Panel->Network Connections(classic view)->Right click on Local Area connection(wired)/Wireless network connection(wireless)->Properties->Select Internet Protocol(TCP/IP)->Properties->Under General tab, choose "Use the following IP address" and type the IP address, Subnet mask and Default Gateway, DNS and press OK.
Type in the ip address 192.168.2.20
Enter the subnet mask as 255.255.255.0
Enter the default gate way as 192.168.2.1
Type in the primary DNS as 4.2.2.2
Type the alternate DNS as 8.8.8.8
Am currently unstalling and reinstalling. The network is WEP with a long alpha numeric key, which was accepted and network detected and connected. No internet. No internet. No internet.

My parents recently purchased a Linksys N600 router to satisfy their wifi needs. They are running into an issue. Apparently, only my mothers laptop is able to fully connect to the device and port data in and out. My fathers laptop and his tablet both are unable to get past the "limited connectivity" yeild. They are both running on laptops using Vista and the tablet is Android.

The internet at my parents house has recently gone on the fritz..the wireless router is a N600 Wireless Dual Band Router WNDR3400..The computers of the house are able to connect to it..But it does not allow internet connections..The 3 computers are an HP Laptop running windows 7.a Dell Dimension E521 Running windows 7 & and an older HP Walmart special running XP.They can connect to outside systems and through a wired connection to the Modem from Cable vision. They replaced the wireless router and the problem continues.Internet is capable by plugging directly into the Cable vision router,unfortunately do not have the cables to try through the Netgear router to test that out..

I recently purchased a new Belkin Play Max N600 HD, much different to my old Billion 5100. I'm only on an ADSL connection but will be upgrading to ADSL2 soon.
Anyway I have a Netgear WG602 v3 Wireless Access Point, and I was wondering am I able to put this somewhere else in the house and have it relay the internet connection to my devices (iPhone for example).
I'm in the User Interface of my Belkin Device but I have no clue how to actually set up this Netgear device to act as an AP. I've changed one thing on the Belkin device, not sure if it'll make any difference. I changed the Wireless Band from 2.4Ghz to 5Ghz hoping that it'll strengthen the signal. I've attached a print screen of how the User Interface looks like in case any of the knowing would need some guide to where things are placed. =/
EDIT: Also whenever I'm downloading it's a bit slow. I don't have the fastest internet only 1.5Mbps (150kb/s) but now I'm downloading at about 50kb, and from my computer at about 70kb. =/ These are at separate times.

So I have a Netgear N600 WNDR3700 wireless router setup at home, and it works great for wireless, but when I plug in my desktop with CAT6 Ethernet cable to the router (didn't bother putting a wifi card in my desktop) for some reason it won't connect to the internet. I know the cable works because I've used it in the past, but for some reason I can't get it to work with my Netgear router.

My roommate and I have High speed cable internet and the modem is set up in his room. I bought a n600 belkin router and a usb wireless adapter so my computer in my room will get internet. Only problem is there is only one ethernet port on the modem that the internet provider gave us and of course that is taken up by his computer. How do I hook up the router to the modem and get all this to work so I can get on the internet as soon as possible?

I just updated my router to a Belkin n600 hd dual band n router. anyway i set it up one band for the "family" on 2.4 gig and my gamer on 5 gig. But the problem is none of my desktops and my latptop doesn't see the 5gig at all the only thing that picks it up is my ipad.

I just purchased the N600 DB Wireless Router with my ISP (Road Runner) I can connect wireless thru a laptop and a tablet, but when I try to connect wired(LAN) thru desktop (XP Pro SP3) I receive the Limited or No Connectivity. If I bypass the router and plug straight into the cable modem I can connect without issue. I have tried resetting the router, modem and computer to no avail.

One of the laptops in my home connects to the wireless network provided by my brand new Belkin (N600 Dual Band) router with no difficulty at all - the other will not connect at all (it SAYS it is connected to the network, but it says that it is a 'Local Connection Only, and will not open any web browsers or allow you to get on to the internet) why is this happening and, more importantly.
