Set Up An Access Point On Belkin N600?

I recently purchased a new Belkin Play Max N600 HD, much different to my old Billion 5100. I'm only on an ADSL connection but will be upgrading to ADSL2 soon.
Anyway I have a Netgear WG602 v3 Wireless Access Point, and I was wondering am I able to put this somewhere else in the house and have it relay the internet connection to my devices (iPhone for example).
I'm in the User Interface of my Belkin Device but I have no clue how to actually set up this Netgear device to act as an AP. I've changed one thing on the Belkin device, not sure if it'll make any difference. I changed the Wireless Band from 2.4Ghz to 5Ghz hoping that it'll strengthen the signal. I've attached a print screen of how the User Interface looks like in case any of the knowing would need some guide to where things are placed. =/
EDIT: Also whenever I'm downloading it's a bit slow. I don't have the fastest internet only 1.5Mbps (150kb/s) but now I'm downloading at about 50kb, and from my computer at about 70kb. =/ These are at separate times.

Setup N600 DB as an access point using the most recent firmware,3.03.12? Once I do I'm not able to access the dashboard even through I enabled the remote management option.

Installed new N600 router and every box in the house can access the internet - except for my Vista powered laptop. My network shows up as Unidentified network with 'locla only' access. Ben scouring message boards all day. Can't find a solution at Microsoft.

I have N600 HD Wireless dual band N Router. have successfully installed the router on wireless mode, however I have the following problem in accessing the storage devices connected to the Router.I can see the storage devices connected to the Router in the "Belkin USB Print and Storage center", but when I double click to browse the devices, it does not open up.

I have an n600 ( F9K1102 v1 , firmware 1.00.09 ). My ISP provides my main router for my network, but I want to use the N600 as an access point, I have activated the "Use as Access Point" feature.Is it possible to still utilize the Guest Access feature in this case?

I am using a Verizon Fios system at home. I have a desktop pc on the other side of the house from my modem that does not have wireless capabilities. I read that I can use an access point to connect it to my wireless network. I'm not sure if this is true or not. I set up my Belkin N150 basic router as directed to make it an access point. I connected it to my desktop pc on the other side of the house and it does not work. 1. Can this set up work? 2. If so, what do I need to do to get connected? Currently the pc is not even recognizing the router/access pt.

Can I use my F5D7230-4 as an access point? I need to provide a hardwired ethernet connection to my A/V reciever but not have a wired port in the area of my house. I have an existing wireless router thru Century Link. Could I have the Belkin attach itself to the wireless network and then have a cat 5 come out of one of the four ports to connect my A/V reciever to the network?

I have a Belkin High-Speed Mode Wireless G Router F5D7231-4 and I wish to use it as an access point for my main desktop for my wireless network.
I have followed methods supplied by both Belkin and users and have had no success.
Instructions followed:
- Connect a computer to Belkin router using an ethernet cable.
- Reset the router to factory defaults. The reset button can be found at the botton of it. The reset procedure is given below
- Make sure the router is switched ON.
- Locate the reset button(inside a hole) at the back of the router.
- Use a paper clip, push the reset button and hold it for 30 seconds then release the reset button.
- Unplug the Power cable from back of the router and plug it back again and wait for another 30 seconds.
- Log on to router setup page by typing 192.168.2.1 in the address bar of the browser.
- On the left under wireless click on the option Use as Access Point.
- Select Enable and specify the IP address as 192.168.2.254 and subnet mask as 255.255.255.0 and click on apply changes.
Every time the system crashes whilst applying the changes.

When I set up the Belkin F9K1102 as an access point I can no longer access it via the ip-address and it does not accept the new ip-address I've given it, but takes the ip-address 192.168.2.254, while my network is on the 192.168.1.XXX address series. The only way I can do this is by manually given the router a new address, then manually turn of the DHCP- server and finally move the internet cable from the WAN port to one of the LAN ports - but then the LED-indicator on the router is blinkin red.

how to set up a Belkin F5D7230-4 6000 router as a wifi access point. My home set up is the following: Dell Desktop connected by Lan to a Telefonica/Movistar router (I live in Spain), Dell portable .. connected by wifi at the other end of the house ..saying it's portable is a bit of a joke .. it's old and moving it is not an option ! I am trying to configure an older Belkin Router (Model Number 5FD8230-4) as an Access Point so that I can boost the range of my network. The problem I have is in configuring the old router. It won't allow me to change any settings, or at least the changes don't stick, even after clicking "apply changes". I tried creating an administrative password but I am not even sure that this is working. I am using a Macbook, so perhaps this is an Apple compatibility issue. I have tried resetting the router and reverting to Factory default settings, but no joy.

I wanted to set Belkin Share Max n300 as an access point. I followed the instructions, set the IP address to the suggested one and connected it to the main router. It worked, computer connected to the Belkin via wire was getting IP address from DHCP on main router. But: The Belkin device itself became invisible. I lost connection to Belkin device via config page via HTTP. It does not respond to any IP address so I actually cannot use it for purpose I wanted to set up secondary Wi-fi, I just cannot configure it. Also I wanted to use USB ports of the Belkin to connect external drives. I cannot do it as well. More over it does not go back. It does not reset to the original router option.

As per settings menu, I tried to give it an IP address but the new address is not accessible for further configuration. When I connected to the router it status changes to "unidentified network".
My primary network address range is 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.10. So I gave address to belkin as 192.168.1.100. But I can not access this address from both primary and belkin network.

I got another playmax n600HD router which I want to configure as an access point that extends my network upstairs and allows me to attach some wired devices like my ps3. I followed the basic principles of setting as access point and my locally connected ps3 and NAS are communicating but no Internet access. How the 2nd router can connect to the internet?

I just installed a band new copy of xp on my system and I cannot connect to the internet! I'm connected via Ethernet to my Belkin n600 HD and whenever I go try to follow the steps via Microsoft [Go into Network Connections > Create a New Connection > Connect to the Internet > Set up my connection manually > Connect using a broadband connection that requires a user name and password] It just brings up the old school dial up vpn style thing and never connects to the net. Secondly I tried to install the Belkin software but it just has errors trying to establish a connection with it. The Internet is working fine, I have 5 laptops connected to it.

My roommate and I have High speed cable internet and the modem is set up in his room. I bought a n600 belkin router and a usb wireless adapter so my computer in my room will get internet. Only problem is there is only one ethernet port on the modem that the internet provider gave us and of course that is taken up by his computer. How do I hook up the router to the modem and get all this to work so I can get on the internet as soon as possible?

I just updated my router to a Belkin n600 hd dual band n router. anyway i set it up one band for the "family" on 2.4 gig and my gamer on 5 gig. But the problem is none of my desktops and my latptop doesn't see the 5gig at all the only thing that picks it up is my ipad.

I have a Belkin N600 HD.I'm on an Off-net ADSL2 Connection with TPG.It took 2 weeks to connect.I've connected and I'm still downloading at 1.5Mbps (150kb/s)I bought new Lie filters/splitter in case the same ones I have were faulty (C1024M) and connected them correct to both my home phone and my Modem.So I've connected to my net, I can download and do whatever but I'm going at my ADSL1 Speeds. I just purchased the N600 DB Wireless Router with my ISP (Road Runner) I can connect wireless thru a laptop and a tablet, but when I try to connect wired(LAN) thru desktop (XP Pro SP3) I receive the Limited or No Connectivity. If I bypass the router and plug straight into the cable modem I can connect without issue. I have tried resetting the router, modem and computer to no avail.
